Well... I'm safe from the south. I have the DMZ which is essentially that. But, then again. It took 2-3 decades to get that set up fully.
Alaska barely had Russians. I think the most there was in Alaska at any point in time was like 700 people.
I was under the impression that most people in Siberia were either Polish, Decemberists, criminals or frontiersmen/colonizers.
