@Baklava No problem. Will wait to hear back from you!

Not sure what many others think of it, though, but The Minish Cap was a fun game to me! Still, if that idea does not work in the end i still have a couple of backups ready to go to at least try to secure that last spot for myself! :P
@Baklava No problem, albeit i like all three in somewhat equal amounts! XD

Still, the one i would like the most would be...my third idea, the Minish OC idea.

Secondary to that if this idea is not feasible somehow, i would choose the second version of my first idea, where the female Hylian OC was adopted by the Gerudo Mystic and such. If that idea also did not somehow work, then my final choice would be the second idea, the Goron idea.
@Baklava Ah. Duly noted. My apologies for not getting that the first time when you noted about looking at the roster!

Will push the Stalfos and Darknut ideas to the side for now. Perhaps they could all be my sort of "last resort" ideas if i couldn't come up with something else, though it should be no problem at all to come up with a different idea or two for a character as well that will, hopefully, better meet your desires for the RP!

As for the Rito idea i put out there, i will respect your wishes and completely abandon the concept as a possible idea. Will also throw out the Twili idea as well. Did not mean to sound like i wanted to put in a "game-breaking OC" of some sort in there, as while the idea did actually occur to me that they could blow future details, i was at first somewhat thinking they could be amnesiac or not learned in history as you noted to avoid "historical spoilers" as you said. Still, i felt like throwing the idea out there in general to test the waters and see what is and is not acceptable at this point in regards to that, as it were! So no Wind Waker races!

So, with all of what you said in mind, there are about two or so other ideas for OC's i want to pitch, to see if they better meet what you want for the party of characters. So without further waiting, here are my ideas:

First Idea: A young, Hylian woman whose parents moved near the Gerudo Desert just shortly after she was born due to her father getting a job working on the bridge to the Gerudo Desert. It was here that her family was robbed one night by a Gerudo raiding party, who as a result of her parents fighting back ended up killing both of them. As a result, the young female Hylian baby was taken back by the Gerudo along with other plunder.

From here i believe this OC can take one of two alternate paths i thought about for their history:

1. They could be raised as a "regular" among the Gerudo and grow up being treated like one of the Gerudo, eventually learning of her Hylian heritage many years later by accident and ends up setting out on into Hyrule to try to discover her past, which event eventually leads to her having the dreams and such that bring her to where the rest of the party is in the graveyard. Down this path the OC could be a more combat-focused Gerudo-related character that differs from Veitaru in that sense.

She could be a skilled archer, horse rider, perhaps even be a dual-sword wielder and some Gerudo-esque combat skills and desert expertise and such to add to the team.

2. They could be taken back, only to be taken in by an older Gerudo mystic and magic user who, while not being at the level of the 400 year old witches (Twinrova) who raised Ganondorf in Ocarina of Time is still a strong magic user who acts as an elder to the tribe. It would be in this highly respected magic user's household that this Hylian girl would grow, being kept mainly to the house due to the disgust an amount of her "Gerudo sisters" would show to her as compared to the few who seemed to accept her as one of their own. Learning magic from her surrogate mother, eventually the Gerudo mystic/elder who raised her would die, and knowing that a portion of the tribe will still never accept her sets off to not only try to determine her own family history but also to see the world she had been shut out of in the past (before having dreams and meeting with the party of course) with supplies given to her by those who came to care for her and accept her among the tribe.

In this case (and my favorite of the two options here) the OC would have good and wizened desert expertise taught to her and trained into her by her surrogate Gerudo mother, magic skills that could either be utility-based magic (which could be useful considering some of the OC seems to have an amount of combat magic between them) or a mix of utility and combat magics to allow her to support in combat while also providing things like healing to make her a versatile character in the party in regards to magic. Further, she could have trained in the bow and perhaps a single weapon, if i were to justify her surrogate Gerudo mother calling in favors to get her trained in the use of a weapon like dual-sword or (not "and") the bow and arrow to help allow the girl to protect herself in the harsh desert the Gerudo live in. In fact, she could possibly know medicine in some part if her mother taught her as well, a thing that could come in handy to give her a "healing" sort of role if combined with her possessing magic.

Second Idea: A Goron (male as they all are of course) who is relatively young for his race at the age of 70 years old. His father was a skilled smith among the Gorons, but the OC himself was best suited to...explosions. As in, he was great with explosives and bombs, and learned how to make them rather well. While he enjoyed dabbling in explosives, he also learned to wield a large hammer in combat on top of the rolling and still somehow knowing where he's going that Gorons are known for. On top of the natural strength and toughness the Gorons are known for, he could be a good addition to the team for brute force and another OC who can deal with fire rather well. He would make his way into Hyrule out of curiosity to see what Hyruleans have learned about explosives and see if he could learn anything new to add to his hobby. After all, while he is a Goron he is an intelligent Goron who enjoys explosives but is not an idiot otherwise by any means. At the same time, during this trip he could begin to have dreams and move to go to the graveyard the dreams direct him to in order to see what is going on.

Third Idea: This one might be the most odd, but if it's rejected i will not argue. What about...a Minish OC?

They could be from a pocket of Minish that stayed when the door to the Minish world closed at the end of the Minish Cap came, desiring to live in and stay in Hyrule. Living in Hyrule's Castle Town through the centuries even after the forest some of their people once called home was lost, this group of Minish composed of all kinds of Minish who gathered there after their other homes were destroyed or changed over time by other events would have moved with the Hylians as they moved from place to place. The magic that kept them invisible to adults began to fade away and eventually disappeared over time as well, leading them to become more reclusive from Hylians and humans as a whole in order to help preserve their people over time.

The OC themselves would be a Minish who has learned magic from one of the last members of his kind to have been trained in and honed in the art of it. Rather than combat magic, this magic would take the form of general utility magic and especially a form of "size-altering magic" to allow them to alter the physical size of themselves, objects, and even other living things if the need arises. This "size-altering magic" could have originated among the Minish still remaining in Hyrule after the stumps they used to change size back during the time of Minish Cap were destroyed and became effectively nonexistent over time. Further, the OC could sport general utility, medicianal, or other support skills on top of some skills with a sword or other weapon in order to help them fight and not smiply be a hinderance to the group as a whole. However, they could play a support role as a whole for the party of characters, being educated and intelligent as well.

This OC could also be male or female, and after having dreams they use size-altering magic to grow to human-child size or such in order to set out on a journey to the graveyard. This is probably the strangest of my three ideas, perhaps the greatest stretch. Even so, i would hope this sounds more feasible than the time-defying and other hard ideas you mentioned before!

@Baklava No problem. Will try to answer your questions as best as i can!

1. Mmm, i did read over the rules and look over the character roster. Really, i was asking those things just to try to get a final, solid confirmation about what is acceptable or not. Perhaps it is a bit silly of me, but after one or two personal experiences of mine as a newbie with RP'ing years ago i have always made the habit of doing that "extra check" to make sure i don't have the wrong idea. XD

2. I think i was saying that mainly in regards to that i can only be on for a limited time during each day, if i am remembering correctly. If not that, however, i probably meant that in regards to the last few weeks which have been rather abnormally busy irl in multiple ways due to holidays.

In regards to being able to participate, though, after reading your rules the RP it seems to me like it could be fit in without any issues on my part. For example, i will never disappear for two weeks without saying something, not even being missing for a day really without saying something in advance to the GM or someone in charge unless a true emergency has come up. If nothing else i try to be prompt in my notices about not being able to be here, albeit i am only human as well. Still, i think i could take this RP on, also seeing as how the pacing for posts until this point from my perspective seems to be relaxed enough to work perfectly for my situation! :)

3. If you mean "free thinking" as in "you have to think of searching the wall to find the magic treasure chest", or "you have to make sure you OC is on their toes to not get killed by that trap in the middle of the floor" sort of things, or just generally not everything being said to you and you not being guided along by a plot, then i most definitely do not mind that at all! I was in an RP like unto that once a good time ago, and definitely enjoyed it once i got the idea! I get the sense of "deadly, dungeoncrawling RP" from what i have seen of your RP thus far in my own looking at it, and it would definitely be a fun adventure to try to be a part of in my mind!

As for the "Rito" bit, i thinking a theory along the lines of this: The castle where the master sword was enshrined in Wind Waker could be where the Temple of Time would have been in OOC. In a sense, the new "Hyrule Castle" in Wind Waker being built from the Temple of Time. With that in mind, the story could be perhaps that a Rito was flying over where Hyrule Castle was in Wind Waker, and was knocked unconcious by an attack by pirates while flying a message to another island. Sinking beneath the waves, the Rito eventually and fortunately fell into the time-frozen Hyrule Castle. Wandering about the time-stasis locked land, they make their way into Hyrule Castle and eventually into the chamber where the master sword lies in the Wind Waker timeline. Here they notice the blade and try to grab it, only for the magic holding the castle in stasis to go a bit awry and wild (since the Rito is not the hero meant to pull the sword) and launch them out of their timeline into the one of the RP. But if this idea doesn't work, i don't mind it at all. XD
@Baklava Hello there, Baklava! Just out of curiosity i want to ask a couple or so questions about your RP if you don't mind. This idea for an RP sounds enticing, to be frank about it. :)

1. Would it be possible to create an OC who is a female or male Darknut not in the service of Ganondorf?

2. Would it be possible to make an OC who is a Stallos, more specifically a Stalmaster from Skyward Sword? If so, would it be possible to say he is one that existed from ancient days, but after the death of Demise began to wander the world after gaining the power to act, think, and do things on his own?

3. Would it be possible to make a female Twili?

4. Are any of the more unique races from Wind Waker, such as the Koroks and Rito, able to be somehow worked into this? Possibly not, but i feel it's worth the ask if nothing else.

Aaron Erikson

In a heartbeat, the situation seemed to go quickly south, the sound of gunfire causing Aaron to instinctively duck and put his arms over his head in a protective manner as the burst of rifle fire whizzed around them and caught several other students. After a moment, the brown-haired, amber-eyed boy tentatively stood back up, glancing at just the right moment to see the soldier who has seemingly fired on them in a panic be shot for the second time in the side of his head and go lifeless on the floor. A shocked look came onto Aaron's face, especially as the boy look and began to notice the bleeding and possibly dead other students on the floor who had been hit by the soldier's bullets. Much worse, outside of some of his fellow "chain-gang members", none of the other soldiers much less the director in front of them batted an eye at the situation, the bodies of the dead, dying, and bleeding being kicked aside like small annoyances of no big matter being moved to the side. It was a visibly shocking scene as a whole, but in the space of time between seeing things and the new ankle cuffs being locked onto them and the old ones being removed, Aaron had reasserted his overall sense of composure and went back into a seemingly relaxed and calm mood.

As sad as it was to admit, even to just himself in this case, he had seen worse things a matter of years ago. Plus, if he didn't have the mind to somehow get past this, then it would be a wonder if he survived living in a cold and dark place like here at all. Not that it was right to just blindly accept how this place was, per say, but it would do him no good to dwell on what had happened here considering how the guards and such seemed to be. It would do none of them good to just dwell on this, especially those whose powers had more violent side-effects on their personalities. That in part made the brown-haired sixteen year old glad he had not ended up with powers that resulted in him having that trademark 'X' on his throat, though it seemed not just those people, from the look of the reactions of the others in the room outside of the guards and other adults, were reacting to this.

After listening to the Director's spiel about the cuffs, possible death by shocking, and her words directed at the Indian girl who was among the ranks of them standing here like cattle in a pen, Aaron continued on and listened to the room assignments be read aloud. Raising an eyebrow at being put into the same room as two other people, Aaron looks about to try to see who was in his group, only to have the cold barrel of a loaded gun pressed against his back in a thrusting, oppressive manner.

"I get it, i get it," the teen said with a light, surrendering sigh and light roll of his eyes, holding his hands up in surrender for a moment before letting them fall back by his sides as he and the others were escorted from the room.

As he and the others were escorted by guards, groups of people branching off to different buildings on the campus and from there to different rooms (according to his own guesses at the matter), Aaron kept a relaxed stance physically as he thought about things. At this point he was accepting that this was the nature of this place, this cold, violent, uncaring facility where he and the others here were nothing but tools and weapons if he had interpreted the Director's words correctly. At least they couldn't just be shocked to death for no reason at all though, without the offending adults in question being disciplined in a likely lethal manner from the sound of things. It was a small comfort, if anything, but it was at least something in the favor of he and the other "studs" who had arrived here. Besides, it was not like he could do anything against the system here without being killed in the....five minutes it took him to summon anything at all? So even then it was not like he was among those these people could consider the "greatest threats" in a singular given moment.

Looking up as he and part of the group that had originally been in the underground room (now filled with wounded and probably some dead bodies) were escorted to a building that looked rather clean, orderly, and even fancy at that on the outside, eliciting a light chuckle from Aaron at the fact he and some of the more "well-behaved dogs" were getting to likely live in some slight luxury and comfort. Not that it made their overall situation better, but it was at least something else positive he could add to the rather small list he had silently begun in his own mind. Still, the shimmering, supernatural, mist-like substance that clung to the building itself was, in the teen's mind, probably some kind of surveillance system for them or such. Eh, it was not like he had anything to hide, nor would he be among those who probably tried to escape this place. Still, maybe they had gotten some kid with a power that made that stuff to work with them, or perhaps that one gadget-focused Precursor he had heard about had made some cool device to create this stuff?

Shrugging off his now somewhat derailing thoughts as they moved into the building, Aaron looked as the group they were in now was split once more to send students to different rooms on different floors. It was here he finally got a look at just who he would be rooming with. On one hand, one of the people he was rooming with was a red-haired girl. Odd, but nothing that caused him to lose his chill or the like. But...the other person he seemed to be roommates with was someone whose presence and attitude, on top of what he had said earlier, made him seem nothing short of "edgy to the highest power". Physically Aaron struggled with not grimacing somewhat at the guy as the guards continued to escort the trio to their assigned room, keeping his face forward as the sort of "aura" this guy seemed to give off felt as if it was getting under his skin. Not that this guy didn't probably have a reason he behaved as he behaved, but it was not like the guy's seeming attitude and appearance didn't prod (even if unintentionally) at Aaron's pet peeves either.

As they all entered their dorm rooms, Aaron noted with a light sigh of relief that the room itself seemed to be rather comfortable, even slightly luxurious considering how they had all been treated before this point in time. Stepping over to one of the desks in the room, Aaron glanced through the maps, placements tests, and other papers and things on the desk that seemed to pertain to himself, putting his ID card (and noting the cash loaded onto it) into the left pocket of his jeans without a second thought after finishing just simply seeing what was there in the first place. The boy then turned his attention to the duffel bags at the foot of each bed, particularly one that seemed to bulge more than the others. Walking over to the bad and squatting down by it before opening it, the boy let out a low whistle at finding his things all placed inside rather neatly. Digging into things for a moment just to make sure it had all made the trip here safe and sound, he noted the clothes, essentials, water bottles, headphones and music devices, and especially the consoles, handhelds, and small literal library of games for each he had managed to stuff inside like a "packing professional". His own mother had even been surprised at how well he had packed his things prior to leaving, though it was not like the boy was going to treat his games badly in all of this. He had almost finished his latest run of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker and it was not like he was going to abandon that or his other video gaming pursuits just because he was here. A light frown came on his face for just a brief moment, however, as the boy thought about how having to stick to a schedule and such might kill some of his game time.

It was no big matter, though, as he shook the thoughts from his head, stood up once more, and looked over to his new roommates once more before giving them a casual wave.
@Ashevelendar I thought we were going to post the entire collab post up?
@January Found another of the same image, albeit a diff. background in the pic and from a different site. Replaced the mess-up pic with that one. Luckily i can find this pic from multiple sites via google images.

Hopefully that will work for the time being. Must get off again since i only had a moment to go find another site's copy of of the pic to put in the app for the moment.
@January Somehow my OC's picture in the app in the "Characters" tab is...changed?! Just wanted to note that off bit while i am glancing at here for a quick moment. Night!
