@txgood2 Not a bad suggestion. I am open to recommendations, though what i am really aiming for is giving her a Gift that makes her naturally attuned to using and/or learning magic. In essence, i am aiming for a Gift that makes her a natural magic user, perhaps a faster magic user than others, perhaps a Gift that makes her magic usage more efficient somehow.
Though on top of me (frustratingly) over-thinking the matter a lot as to how to do this all, i do not know what sort of magic system to try to align her to on top of that. This sort of makes my ideas thus far rather...general and too broad and keeping them from being more unique or specialized, and some of my ideas are perhaps more than a bit redundant than others in some cases.
Though my attempts seem to be mediocre thus far in my own opinion, i am not giving up on figuring something out. Though without a larger amount of info on the magic systems of the RP that we are aware of at this time (which i know is on purpose and likely for good reason) i am struggling to think of the most coherent idea for what i am aiming to do.
@Moonlit Sonata So what might work would be...a Gift that allows her to perceive the movement of magical energy around her? (eh, maybe not...)
Or perhaps a Gift that...causes her to act as a catalyst of sorts for magic? You say magic is like how chemical reactions work, with magical energy acting as the "spark" or "energy" for fueling those reactions if i am reading that right. So maybe her gift could be something that speeds up these "reactions" and/or perhaps renders these "reactions" more efficient when using magic?
Maybe just a Gift that is enhancing the speed of these "reactions", to make her something closer to the likes of Aoko Aozaki's stupidly fast magecraft from the Typemoon universe somewhere down the line?
Though if this is too general, admittedly i am beginning to run shorter on ideas. I don't want to be too general and make a Gift that is just "makes me generally better at magic", but i want to make a gift that in short makes her able to be trained as a magic user more easily than the average individual.
To be blunt, i am trying to sort of be Not!Victor from the RP on the other site when it comes to this gift. But i am trying to not literally copy Victor's Gift from that RP.

Or perhaps a Gift that allows the wielder to manufacture magical energy in their body? (not that this will likely be an approve-able idea) or that makes them a naturally compatible conduit for magical energy somehow?

Appearance: Eh, it could be said that Lyminia has some "highly attractive" features than the average female Goblin, which is very distinct among Goblins and Goblin females. That does not mean she is attractive by the standards of any other creatures, though, so to enough other creatures she is probably still that ugly, four foot, green-skinned piece of work everyone else in the stupid tribe is.
Personality: When looking for a Goblin who works hard at what they put their mind to do and has a solid sense of determination, then Lyiminia is the goblin for you. If you are looking for someone to be the nanny or "mature adult" to help the "screw-ups" within a given group she is a part of, then do not bother trying to get her to do so unless she feels it interferes with her survival (and/or the survival of those others she places value on). And admirer of hard work and respecter of effort, she is not much of a fan of the "idiot kids who are all play and no work". Lyminia has some interest the earth and rocks below her feet, though this just happens to be an interest she has in this incarnation. She can be reliable and a good ally, but if you go off and do a lot of stupid things that endanger everyone she might just treat you like a "cold bitch" of some sort or let you die. Harsh, but that's how she is on the outside. She has a softer side somewhere inside of her, but is not one to let it out unless around someone she really care for.
Past Life History: In her past life, Lyminia was born the bog-standard daughter named "Lyra" to a couple of pretty average parents in an entirely mundane world. Her father worked a white collar office job, her mother had formerly worked a similar job, and with the additional fact she enjoyed toying with computers and lines upon lines of code, it was obvious when she eventually got a white collar job at a company to work on lines upon lines of code after graduating with a double major (something to deal with computers and computer science, and the other major being chemistry) from college. Though working for the programming and computer giant "Softmicro" by sheer fortune, her life was rather empty and void compared to many in some regards. Mainly because she poured over lines of code for hours on end with a sense of fascination. She eventually became an otaku, bought a lot of anime, married a Japanese-American girl whose parents were Japanese immigrants, adopted two children with her wife, and actually managed to raise her kids moderately well as a family.
She eventually died when one day at work, she choked on a chocolate and sprinkles covered doughnut as she was eating it while walking down the stairs. she then proceeded to fall down the very tall flight of stairs head-first while choking, snapping her neck in an instant and leaving her dead in the stairwell for about six hours before a janitor discovered her body. At least she didn't live to realize she would die in such a pathetic manner, though her kids did grow up to be famous the fields they chose to go into.
Gift:
Code Reading- If science is a code built into the program of the world, and magic is a code built even deeper into the program of the world, then this Gift is the innate and natural ability to perceive, read, and draw upon this "deeper code" that is magic. In short, this Gift is pretty much an innate and actually potent talent she has for learning, understanding, and utilizing magic.
She is able to passively perceive and "read" the magical energies in the environment around her, also being able to tell what kinds of energies they are and how they "flow", and even draw upon them more easily, similar to a programmer being able to read lines of code, understanding what they are and what they do, and being able to utilize them for one purpose or another.
Obviously, though, this power is at a basic Goblin level at the beginning.

She spent a lot of time around dead people, around graves, even took up with the beliefs of spiritualism much to the exasperation of her Christian parents. While her world seemed to appear to be as mundane as our own real world for the most part, the likes of "ESP" and "ghosts and spirits" were non-mundane and actually rather magical factors that legitimately existed in her world. Though nor born with an innate ability to sense the dead or the like, through constant exposure to the ghosts and spirits that existed around her family's funeral home and in the graveyard they tended, many potent spiritual energies were absorbed into her own body over time caused Lyra to develop an ESP ability of her own. This led her to try to become some sort of medium, and then being killed in a car accident just after she graduated high school. Meh.
Gift:
Magical Energy Beacon- Lyminia's Gift allows her to draw in the magical energies around her into herself and for purposes of magic/spell-casting much more easily. This is done by effectively transforming her into a "magical energy magnet" or a "magical energy beacon" that causes the various magical energies around her the be naturally drawn to her much more easily, much more effectively, and much more strongly than any normal/average magic user. A direct side effect of this ability is that it naturally "attunes" her to the magical energies around her, allowing her to perceive these various magical energies around her that she is able to much more easily absorb.
Obviously this ability is only at the weak level of a starting Goblin right now, though, and so is not incredibly potent at this point in time. It does give her good potential as magic user, though.
Other: She has a personal passing fancy for precious jewels, so if she gets one somehow she will probably keep it unless she is in desperate need for cash. I wonder if this would factor in if she became a dragon of some kind down the line though. *shrugs* Who knows?

In her past life, Lyminia was some boring human woman named "Lyra" who had an obsession with clocks, geology, and time travel films. Her world was mundane and much like the real life modern day world in many respects, and not much of anything is notable when it comes to her life. Well, except that her father dabbled in experimental time travel science stuff. She grew up to become part of his research team on the admittedly stupid idea. They of course failed to create a machine that went back in time, but in the process she did manage to make a formula for trying to go "forward in time", applying it to a device she hooked up the silly experimental device up to a DeLorean. After trying to use said device to travel into the future, the effects of the device backfired and she literally aged herself and the car into dust in the process. Good job helping natural selection do its work, Lyra. Good job. At least she didn't have to pay back those terrorists she got the parts from to make the stupid device that killed her.
Gift:
Time Acceleration- This Gift allows its wielder to accelerate the flow of time on any other single targets other than themselves by a certain amount. This includes other living things, inanimate objects like stones and paintings, and even the very clothes the wielder of this gift is wearing. When this power is applied to living things or other objects that are in motion, this has the visual effect of seeming as if the affected target's speed has been "accelerated" somehow, though no additional momentum or speed is actually being gained by the affected target. Similarly, the additional effect of this "accelerated time" being applied to a target results in the target "aging" at a more rapid rate as well.
At this beginner, Goblin level, however, this Gift can only accelerate time by a small amount, enough to make it look like an arrow is flying a bit faster than a normal one, that a spear being thrown at a target is only somewhat faster than it would have been otherwise, and that a living thing is moving at a slightly faster rate. In regards to the "aging" aspect of this power, it ages targets by such a currently minuscule amount of time that is unnoticeable at this level of power.
This Gift is not some form of "time travel", however, and that is one important thing to note. Rather than "accelerating time to send a target farther into the future", this power in reality takes the form of "accelerating the flow of time specifically in regards to the affected target, with additional aging being applied to the target as a side effect".
Theoretically, at a high level this power could age targets into dust very rapidly unless they are somehow unable to physically age, though at lower levels is useful as a support ability.
