Markus smiled as his heart filled with happiness and pride as he looked around at the countless beings assembled here in the streets. News of the Emperor's death had reached Coruscant only hours before, not through official channels of course, but through messages and reports from family members or contacts off-world. The Emperor, Darth Vader, and many others had been slain by the Rebellion, and revolutions and riots had broken out across the galaxy. Even here, the heart of the Empire, Imperial Center, gatherings such as the one Markus was now a part of were occurring. People were ecstatic, firing off fireworks, singing songs, and cheering loudly. Markus had waited for this day for a long time; he had long dreamed of the death of the Empire, of the freedom to say and do as he wished, and of the planet being once again named Coruscant, rather than Imperial Center. It was for those dreams that Markus had helped to start the little group of freedom fighters to which he belonged. He and his childhood best friend, Jason Vett, a Zabrak, had grown up talking of their hatred for the Empire, and their desire for a new life. When they matured, this talk turned to action, and they founded a small cell of fighters. At first, it was little more than a club, and their "actions" included petty robberies and vandalism; in reality, they amounted to little more than petty criminals. Slowly, however, they had begun to acquire weapons, and equipment, and more members, and now, with the death of the Emperor, Markus knew their time for true action had come.

Someone started to play music loudly, a lively dance tune, and people started to cheer before beginning to break out into spontaneous dance and song. Seeing a very attractive woman with long blonde hair wearing a black tank top and tan pants, Markus smiled and moved up to her, dancing as he went with a goofy smile on his face. He could not contain his excitement at the current events, and the girl laughed and began dancing with Markus as he took her hand. She had beautiful blue eyes, and a fantastic smile, and Markus found himself getting lost in the moment as they twirled about in the mass of people. Everything was going so perfectly.

4 ABY...the Emperor has just died above Endor with Darth Vader and millions of the best Imperial troops and naval men and women of the Empire. Seeing this as an opportunity, thousands of like-minded men and women across the galaxy seize this time to revolt against the Empire; Coruscant is no different.

I'm going to work on my character and post him tonight. You can do the same, or just skip it if you want. I just like doing it.

Hey, all. Back on the old site, I ran a lot of Star Wars roleplays, and I'll kick off my first roleplay on the new site with another Star Wars roleplay.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with me and my roleplays, I was the GM of the Fires of Exaron roleplay, which ran through 2012 and ended successfully, much to my great pride. Fires of Exaron, taking place a few months prior to the Battle of Endor, told the story of a Rebel Special Forces officer, Major Patrick Rudder, who was stranded on the Imperial industrial world of Exaron after a mission to rescue a Bothan spy went south. With the help of a local resistance cell, Rudder was able to finally rescue the spy and make it off-world with valuable intelligence which stopped an Imperial Intelligence operation to assassinate the Alliance High Command simultaneously around the galaxy.

I would like to continue to explore that planet and story with a follow-up roleplay. This will take place on Exaron about six months after the Battle of Endor. New Republic forces have landed and begun a conventional war to seize the planet from the Empire. However, our roleplay will happen behind the scenes of the large-scale war, instead focusing on a secretive, diabolical scheme by the Empire and the efforts of the New Republic Intelligence and Special Forces to put a stop to it. This can go one of two ways:

1) All players are New Republic, and the Imperial side is played by myself as a sort of DM. The players will try to uncover the plot and put a stop to it before it is too late.

2) Players can play either side, and will face off against each other to protect the Imperial plot or put a stop to it.

Purpose: To explain the most recent findings of the 4th Special Forces Regiment S2 section regarding Imperial Intelligence activity on the planet of Exaron, Exaron System, Tiala Sector.

1. Imperial Intelligence (II) activity on Exaron has increased during the last seventy-two (72) hours.
2. II communications have increased from 2004 communications per day on 4MAR to 5734 communications per day on 7MAR.
3. Intercepted II communications have been partially decrypted and have certain keywords emerging. These include:
-Shipment(s)
-Vratokh
-Empire Miccol
-Cooling cases
-Six (in reference to number of items)
-Research facility
4. A ship listing under the name MV Empire Miccol has been found. It is an Imperial civilian freighter registered at Fondor as a bulk hauler of foodstuffs. The Empire Miccol is slated to arrive on Exaron in thirty-six (36) hours.
5. S2 recommends increased surveillance of the Vratokh Imperial spaceport with particular emphasis on ensuring continuous observation of the Empire Miccol upon its arrival at the spaceport and all unloading procedures, until its departure.
6. S2 will continue to monitor II communications and will provide updates every six (6) hours to the tactical command center.
