Well there's all kinds of Digimon, like Batterymon and Penmon xD
So you think... But the identity of the Poison spider maker is unknown.
Well Ideas, I have many.

I already have a setting in mind too.

My plot may be a bit... cruel.

At least for those that fail to take care of their Digimon, and those Digimon who fail to protect their humans.

Because you realize right?... that if you human 'accidentally' die. Your digimon can kiss their sorry Digital butt good riddance.

Lets just say that on my... Dice of Doom. 'Accidents' happen quite frequently. Sometimes with quite Deadly results...

"You are suddenly bitten by a small digital spider that have been crawling around on your shirt ever since you went too close to that harmless looking tree. The Spider bite hurts quite real however for something composed out of data and the wound might perhaps even get infected if not treated. However its quite clear that this spider is venomous and has injected you with its poison. This Poison sadly won't allow you to scale walls any better than before nor does it allow you to shoot web from your hands or get amazing spider like reflexes. For the moment you feel fine however, just a bug bite... nothing more. However it seems that the bite may become increasingly dangerous over time, in four hours or so it might reach its peak where its absolutely hazardous. One could also say, that you got 4 hours left... to live.

~~Run little human, don't you cry. You knew that one day, you would die. ~~
Wincent stood by the door wondering who or what would come out for a second as she had to be the new pony that lived here. Yet as she opened the door he almost 'oh-ed' himself as she seemed a bit surprised by it all. As she giggled and side stepped before commenting about its size and everything Vince couldn't help but to tilt his head slightly in surprise as she invited him inside. She was clearly a very friendly and trusting pony that was for sure, surely he wondered if she had been expecting this box for a while but to invite him inside just like that to help her out he came up short with ideas for a good answer. Instead he simply nodded to her "Um... Sure' of course I'll help" he replied and picked up the box again to walk it inside along with the pony herself.

Of course walking into a stranger's home was weird on its own, but she didn't seem terribly dangerous or to be more than he could handle... besides she was kinda a lot smaller than himself more so than normal sized mares. "Will this be fine here?" he questioned box threads still in mouth so he talked through his teeth and glanced to her before setting the box down either there or where she wanted it. He could see that there was still a lot of boxes around this place meaning she was just moving in which was obvious of course. But none the less Vince turned to back to face and smile to her kindly. "Heh... you can keep your cookies if you like. But I won't say no if you insist of course. I'm Wincent Gainbits by the way... friends call me Vince. " he said and nodded slightly to her.

He wondered what to do next, she hadn't exactly asked where the box came from or anything, and if she expected the box he couldn't try out his newest little play joke either. However he decided to try it anyway as it was a bit fun, "Oh yeah... About the box, I was told to deliver it here on this specific date and time by somepony a long time ago, or rather my great for-runner was told so and he told me... because he was told... and yeah so on" he said trying to act serious and stay in character as he tried to play out a scene from the latest time traveling pony sketch that were quite popular in town.
Spooton Timmey || 'Tim' the earth pony.

So you just trust the the person isn't being a dick and giving himself the luckiest rolls imaginable?

Because then they explode into bits of data?...

Oh... wait... I... didn't tell you there's a good number on my dices.

There's those less than terrible results, and those truly... truly.... Terrifying.

Om that note "a Pink cloud move in above Tobiax head and start raining yellow banana tasting treats."

Because reasons...

About.

Your a perfectly 'normal' Human being in a world where humans are the dominant race according to themselves and where the technology is very modern. So when you win a 'Free' ride with a luxury Cruiser there's little reason not to jump at the chance to go. Great weather forecasts have been foretold and your expected to have a pleasant cruise...

Seems your fortune won't last however...

Will you survive?.

========
About Special.

Strength: Determines how much your character can lift and carry or how easily they do so. In extimation 1 Strength= ~5 Kg of weight that can be carried in your hands without problem. Body areas affected are /Arms, Legs, Back.

- I GOT THA POOOOWAAAH!...

Endurance: Is basically how tough you are, it helps you resist hasardous elements, dangers and damage. A strong body will help you survive longer, and a weak one may quickly fail you. It effects your maximum health, and regulates how much ouchies you can take before dying.

- I know that IIIII... I will.. .oooh crap!

Charisma: A Charismatic person have an easier time persuading others, they have that 'thing or spark' in their eyes that other beings can relate to and follow. It effects how easily you can persuade NPC to do your bidding.

- Listen and listen well because this is very important. Uhm... I forgot what I was about to tell you.

Intelligence: Knowledge is power, and those with high intelligence have an easier time learning and understanding what can be useful and what is not. It effects how easily you deal with mental dangers such as fear and confusion, but also helps you determinate what's safe and what's not among other things.

- One plus three equals... ooh shiny.

Agility: The ability to move your body as your needed too during adventuring, how fast you can run when situations call for it or simply how good you are at standing on one leg for a period of time all scales down to how agile you are. From scaling cliffs to balace, Agility helps you with any task that requires a flexible body over other skills.

-So if I climb these bar's do I get a banana?.

Luck: The Fickle hand of fate... some do not believe in it, others think everything is controlled by it. Luck is basically how much Fate will have a positive outcome for you. It may be considered quite lucky to find that key to the door you want to open, or quite unlucky to stumble on your own shoe leashes. When everything look grim and done, only a whim from Miss Fortuna will save your day.

-One way trip... Good luck.
Its somewhat inspired by the Fallout games but will focus on Stat more than general skils.
Tentative interest, just a quick question.
How do tabletops work over the internet?

You use a Cs as in any other rp

But use stats and rolls to determinate fail or success.

Basically the same as on paper but with a computer at hand.

Dice Rolling online

<Snipped quote by tobiax>

I guess I can see where you are coming from seeing as how grounded this system seems to be to the one present in Digimon World and changing the mechanic from a "Energy bar" to "Special slot/Technique slot" or possibly just CD based would change the dynamic drastically but I seemed to have had shifted to the PnP mind set and yeah, most of them have reasons even besides tracking for existence of such slots.

I can agree with you would it be implemented in a efficient way with some thought put into should we really see X spamming its signature ability/technique Y for the next 5 encounters (though that would imply bad balance anyway). I mean in no way to actually invalidate Digimon that are specialized in said abilities/techniques.

On another note, I think I found your earlier Digimon Table Top.

I guess I don't have an argument against this, implementation needs to be thought out however as if flawed the game will probably feel a little dull.

Well depending on techniques avalible it might just happens that Players can only use their Signature move as that is the only skil they were able to learn.

On the other hand there's from my pow, little reason why not to spam my best attack if it got the greatest chance to hit and deal damage while probably being boosted the best by my stats.

Possibly dedicate the 'Generation' value to learn like 1 ability, and upgrade my character with another Gene pool to draw better stats on level up to myself.

In the end there's just no reason for a Warrior to learn both archery and Magic. Pull out that two handed axe in your right hand, that gigantic shield in your left. Hide behind The heaviest, steam roll armor you can and then charge your enemies like the badass tank you are.

Then depend on the corresponding allies to handle whatever areas you suck at.

That's the warrior way.
Well each time you use the Giga Cannon you have to roll the Dice of doom.

If you fail the roll your weapon malfuncions and you explode into small bits of data.
