Hi there and welcome back! I'm relatively new...er to the forums, only recently getting into the thick of things. But I'm glad to see not only the new faces, but people returning as well :) Happy rp'ing
@Dragoknightesorry, was on the phone >.< but yea. I mean, if you don't mind of course, maybe we can brainstorm a solid idea. Playing neverwinter nights for so long, most of the things are based off of forgotten realms lore. It's what I felt more comfortable with and what I knew the most about. Arena has the forbidden realm and the forbidden magic all worked out. But if we can figure out away to smooth out the regular realm of magic, make it simpler and easier to apply to everyone, that would be great!

thats pretty much what shadow weave is, and moreso created from a darker energy ... so there lol she's not all that useless
Rofl great, I have a useless character lol oh well. I'll/she'll have to think of a way around that. Technicallyshe has no idea where her abilities come from. They could or could not come from her. The shadow weave I suppose was derived from the forbidden realm or something like it.

Her mother was from an ancient clan of witches. Her grandmother was the head of the witches. She didn't come out with the ability for much magic except for shadow magic. It is possible her grandmother could've cursed her, and that curse or their magic even, was pulled from the forbidden realms
