Ewwwwwww .... your schedule is worse than mine .... 6 day 12 hour shifts?! What is that?! My other half does 3 12's and that's enough lol I'm sorry!
I am working on a cs at the moment but will hold off on posting.

I work a Monday-Friday 9-6 and so my posting time is a bit limited, aka adulting sometimes sucks :p which was why I was curious about pace. I don't want to be that person that holds the train up because of my posting frequency.
Ima subscribe if ya don't mind ... not sure how 'small' you're looking to keep this, or how fast paced this may be, but I'll throw my hat in the ring if it's ok :)
I want to apologize if I helped along the slowing of it all. But I understand, and I am right there with @Ezmeralda. Should you want to revive it, I'm right there with you ^^

Lerraina didn't budge from the tree stump when Keystone offered the bottle of ale. As much as she wanted to share in spirits, she raised her own flask, as if it still contained some of its warmth within and dipped her head. "Perhaps when we emerge from this ... shit storm, I will try some of that. But for now, it's best if my eyes remain sharp. I know what Dwarven drinks can do to a person...", she chuckled some, returning her gaze to the shadows just beyond their circle. The elf and his elk bounded out, and something sunk within her stomach. A sense of worry and concern perhaps ... he should stay with the rest of the group. Idiot.

From the corner of her eye, she spied Kyra packing up any stray belongings. It seemed at least that she were of the same mind as Lerraina. It just wasn't safe. Every hair on the woman's body stood on edge, and the eerie sense still tickled at her nerves. They barely made it out of that last one, and that scared her. She wasn't used to feeling fear, that was for certain. Perhaps it was the otherworldly nature of their foe. Perhaps it was because she was caught off guard. Whatever it was, she hated it. Within her time resting upon the stump, from the embers of her fear sparked a sense of resolve, and it hardened within her as she kept a vigilant gaze upon their perimeter.

As Kyra muttered something about the ice wall, her eyes moved to the one who cast it. It was curious, how Sana had not stirred, not one bit. Lerraina didn't really understand the workings of what ailed the woman, and didn't even begin to know how to help. But as the wall was brought to her attention once more, she wondered if there was a link of some sort between the perseverance of its structure and the state of their unconscious ally. "When the time comes, perhaps the mage can help the melting along. For now though, until we are ready to leave, it is best if it remains." She didn't know what else to say, but anything to help keep them safe in this moment was enough for her. She only hoped this wouldn't become an icy crypt, caging them all in for death to wipe them out.
I will have mine up within the morning
The woman was friendly enough, Dhyannah felt. And Dhyannah presented a cordial and stoic appearance. She asked for a few basic herbs, some perhaps of a more questionable nature but all in all, they were common items for the area and season. She gave the woman a courteous smile and nod and after paying for the herbs, she left just the way she came, returning to the same beaten path towards the tavern.

Her blades were well maintained and sharpened, so there was no need for a smithy. Though she was no smith herself, she was very meticulous about the care of armor and weapons. What sort of hunter would let them falter? With hopes of returning before nightfall, her pace swiftened.

Lerraina didn't quite care for threatening spaces, and as she saw it, she was the only not engaged in anything important. "I believe I will stay behind. Someone will have to take watch, and at the very least, as a skilled scout, I think I could fill that role for the time being. Besides, the Druid is right. she nodded in Cyneburg's direction. It was the least she could do to help out, and it was certainly better than twiddling her fingers in a cramped, dank space. It was uncomfortable enough to be invited, and with such flourishing words, she wanted to crawl in a hole.

She rolled her shoulders forward before settling herself on a nearby tree. Her bow still in hand, she reached for her flask and took a swig. A low grumble surfaced as she realized she had reached the bottom of the polished container. She would just have to get through the rest of this without the ease of a good drink. She distanced herself enough from the group to scan their surroundings.
I will try and get something up within the next 24 hours :p sorry

Lerraina watched as others chimed in, realizing they had no idea what had happened on the other side of the wall. How could they with that great red thing rendering chaos? Thomas sulked by, apologies stammering out of his mouth.

"As much as I would like to test the waters out there with a larger group, that just isn't going to happen. On the other side of that wall was nothing more than a shit show... over a dozen orcs slaughtered, then turned undead and left. I honestly can't tell you how many are still alive but I wouldn't estimate it being many. Besides...." she glanced over to Thomas preparing his spell, "we have a mage, a scout, a healer, front liners and archers. I trust our chances out there more if we stay together. As I said, it's not safe to linger longer than we have to. Our goal was to make it to the next village, not to wander the woods."

She was reacting more to the druids words, rather than her light hearted companion. She needed a bath, a meal, a drink... upon her passing them, she braced a hand on Calanon's shoulder. She stepped behind Thomas and unshouldered her bow ... you never know what may await them on the other side.
