I'm so happy, found two orphan newborn kittens and was able to put them in with a nursing momma cat and she adopted them right away!

I agree with Dervish. I use Steam, IRC, and PMs to communicate with my friends from RPG whether about writing or otherwise. Some I've never written with...I won't name names though. 
The Aztec god Xipe-Totec and his worshipers would be your worst nightmare, Nat. His rituals made the heart ripping look tame. Skin flaying for spring.
I imagine it more Polynesian as those islands are smaller and more widespread, more isolated than the ones closer to Indonesia/Phillipines.
Anything involving injuries eyes or fingers always makes me squeam a little.
