Miracles seem to come from no-where so... like Air-bending... i guess... for the knock back... the best way to describe it is like an invisible brick wall that protrudes from you in all directions... then you have healing abilities which you "pray" to the talisman and a Runic circle will form around you and all allies inside the circle will recover equivalent to the strength of the Miracle

@Framing A Moose It is to no god but rather the forces of Faith. Talismans are used as Catalysts to miracles just like in Dark Souls I- The religion/Faith aspect is focused on Physical recovery/harm without damage (such as a knockback miracle) while sorcery is more of a damage and harmful magic that uses staves as catalysts and does serious damage if used correctly.

@MatthiasAngel Okay but the sword talks softly so that from afar it looks like he is carrying out an argument with a sheet of metal. all of the other stuff will me "according to legend" and the glow will be a dull brown :) I think im going to give us squires to carry our stuff and sometimes even help us fight, however if you still want your magic bag it will have to be a long descended magic wonder that a great wizard in your family once made. sound good?

Personality: Ronin is very focused on sword training. He was eager to get into the draft so that he could fight. Ronin can sometimes be a sucker for women. He wont tolerate people that he doesn't think are loyal or trustworthy.
Squires Personality: Strives to be just like Ronin. She is determined to prove to him that she is worthy of being his partner as Knight

Bio: His mother died in labor and his dad was condescending brutal and abusive toward him. He trained day and night to best his father and one day challenged him at a tournament. He won, but his father died from his injuries. Ronin is deeply scared about his parents always thinking about the fact that he was the cause of both their deaths. He keeps this fact well hidden.

Anything Noteworthy: If Ronin isn't wielding his shield he can hold his Great Grandfathers Talisman to his sword making it phase through other swords which lets him hit his opponent freely. However this can only be done for short periods of time because it exhausts his soul and if he looses his soul he will be stripped of everything he has and thrown in The Asylum.

Lute is desperately in love with Ronin but wont tell him. or even give him a hint, however she is very territorial and if other women flirt with him she gets angry.

Now about your sword. Im going to put some restrictions on it.
1. It can only speak in your head, unless you and the blade trust and are willing to risk yourselves for a character, then that said character can also hear the blade
2. It cannot move for itself or take human form. The weight shift is acceptable.
3. If it duplicates, the blades must be smaller than the original.
4. Sword must glow 100% of the time if it does at all

The Rise Of Grandcastrum

Grandcastrum is the foundation in this land. It is the overseer and the Guardian. One day there was a force that unleashed on the land. They were the Jin. The Jin were forced out of their homeland by the Eskaba, a normally peaceful clan but has recently been causing problems with their enormous army. The Jin invaded with full force they charged across the vally and rushed the walls of Grandcastrum. At first they got the upper hand but as the fight drew on Grandcastrum started gaining back land. Eventually they were pushed back to a few establishments on the Western border and were left there so that Grandcastrum's army could be rebuilt and reinforced with new members. So the annual draft of Boys and Men was established. Every year there is a competition for everyone in Grandcastrum territory to compete. Only the best are recruited and then the recruits are grouped up for Quests and Missions. You are a part of the annual draft this year and you look promising.
