Or maybe he heard the occupant?
Seems fair enough. Aurelia seems much more intelligent. It will be an interesting battle to see what fighting style will prevail.
For this ability "-It's possible that she would use her looks and body to distract her opponent, bring them off balance when she turns from suddenly hostility to seducing whoever she's facing.", I'm assuming it doesn't have any supernatural effects to allow it to more easily work? And would it work on members of the same gender? Evvie does happen to be pansexual, but she's sort of oblivious in romance at the moment. Not that she couldn't have any such urges.

What location do you want to fight in?
I think the default Evvie in the sheet is pretty close to that. I don't know exactly the difference between 5 times a normal human and a dragon, as our two descriptions go, but I'll assume during the battle that Evvie is physically more powerful but yours slightly more mobile and more powerful magic. If you don't think the sheet has anything needing to be edited in particular than I'll just go with it and we can just try to keep things seem as balanced as possible while fighting.

Posted in the IC for my first battle. I'll add in the other battles soon.
Ryomi looked at the heavily armored man curiously. It was rare that someone would confess such crimes to her, but perhaps it was a good change of pace to make it easier on everyone? Got to look on the bright side every so often. But then again, killing that many people was very serious, so how likely would it be that someone wicked enough to do such a thing would confess? Unless maybe it was an accident or in self defense. It was hard to read what this guy was up too inside that armor of his.

"Umm...put your hands behind your head, and stuff," she called out to him as she descended into talking distance. She wasn't a police officer but she had watched some cop shows in the past, so hopefully that would give her the know how to make a citizens arrest. That is if he was seriously going to go peacefully. She hovered in closer to him at about a body length above the top of the skyscraper he was on and 8 feet away from him. She kept her spirit shields up just in case he tried anything funny, surrounding herself in a faint bluish glue. Even if this was a trap she figured she could easily take on a "normal" human such as himself.

"Don't get any closer. I don't like this," her sister's voice chimed into her head. She clearly didn't want to get close enough to allow him to bypass the shield, but how else could she arrest him?

"Umm....turn around, hands on your head, and I'll escort you to the nearest police station. You may confess as we go," she ordered, pointing her weapon at him with her right hand. This was as demanding and impolite as she'd want to go, even with someone like him. Hopefully this was the extent of it and they could all leave this scenario peacefully.
Lunch time is about now. I'm in pacific time.
The dwarf is accepted.
I'll be able to post some time after lunch.
Layte couldn't believe she had been caught, leaving her with a simmering anger deep inside as she could do nothing but stand around in chains that dug against her flesh for who knows how long. If only she had been in her jackalope form she could have likely foreseen the surprise attack and hopped safely on her merry way out of the mess, but she had unfortunately been in her humanoid form at the time. It was a form she was stuck with for the time being due to being underground and her transformation powers relying on the moon being out. That was the second problem keeping her contained. A jackalope would have no problem at all slipping out of these confines. Either they knew she couldn't transform while underground or they just got incredibly lucky. Not that she knew what to do once she got free, but at least it would be a start, and surely she'd think of something.

Oddly enough her captives willingly gave her that start only a few moments after she was pondering her dilemma. Not that it made her want to kill them any less. They still deserved what was coming to them, of that she was certain. But for now she was at least a little more content with her situation. Her fate was in her own hands. Well, that and the other captives nearby. Could she trust them? An enemy of her enemy was her friend? Not always. She hesitated in front of the rune, her mind conflicted if she should help them or not. When one of them called for help, she decided that she might as well just pause her escape for a few moments and see what he was up too. She supposed that they'd be worth at least that much. Maybe she was just too soft for her own good.

She walked over to the man in long strides of her rabbit-like legs, stopping silently in front of him an arm's swing away, enough time to spring backwards to safety if he tried anything fishy. She didn't verbally offer her help, but it was at least implied by her standing nearby. She wasn't bothered by the lack of clothing, at least from a social standpoint. Jackalopes never wore clothes anyways, although their humanoid forms did, mainly out of influence by nearby human cultures. The most important part was the armor, and that was what left her with the slightly bothered expression. She could move faster without it to be sure, but jackalopes weren't known for being super sturdy. A solid hit from an attack could make her day take a turn for the worse very quickly. Not only that but she couldn't find any weapons, as to be expected. She did have sharp nails on her hands and feet that could easily kill someone given that she got up close and personal. Without armor that battle strategy was all the more risky. Magic? She didn't want to exhaust herself too quickly without knowing exactly how long of a struggle it would be to escape.

Maybe she did need some help after all.
I'm working on a post now.
I'm wondering if my character can reduce the power of her fire balls to simply light torches rather than explode like a grenade, or if she can only light some of her body on fire rather than all of it (increasing the time she can have that body part stay lit by the amount of her body not on fire). If this is okay I'll say she can do it. It will come in handy, possibly much sooner rather than later. For example, even if they didn't have torches she could just light a finger on fire or someone to be a mini torch.

Lotta people commenting in Arena lately, new people especially. There was one guy about 5 days ago who came in boasting about how he was the best at roleplay, and would 'take people who interest him under his wing.' Best part is? He stopped posting the moment that people called him full of shit. 5 day old account, never posted again. What an ass.

Clearly he didn't see the true best...ME!!!- *gets tackled by everyone.
I probably got past most of the noob mistakes so I'm better then any noob. Mwahahahaha! *gets tackled again
Umm...I'm better than most noobs, probably! Mwahahahaha!

I'd like to know because taking in someone new is kind of a risk. The arena is a very polarizing place, like half of the people who enter it for the first time disappear halfway through their first battle. It would be a shame if you would join only to drop out within a few days.

The same can be said for finding a job. You need experience to get experience. Sometimes someone has to give you the first chance. (err...if life was fair, anyways. Yeah, trouble finding a job over here...)
And if they do disappear then we could just have their character eaten horribly my monsters for revenge! In my roleplay there was a possibility for a random monster to spawn near an inactive character and kill them instantly before disappearing into the shadows.
