She sidestepped his staff to the right, using her left weapon in an attempt to clash against the tip of his staff and keep it away from her while she would move in closer and stab with her right weapon into where an opening in the ribs should be. She didn't believe he'd be able to use any more of that fog during this time, but if he did she wouldn't have any good way of avoiding it. She just had to commit to her attack and hope it would work out, ending his life before he could get off a counter.
I wonder if the other guy disappeared. Well, I'm off work for today and tomorrow so could create the OOC/IC during this time and then wait until I'm off work on monday to post again.
I got a job with long hours so I don't have the time, but you guys can use this idea and start your own if you'd like.
I recently got a job that will be every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and every other Thursday from 5 am to 5 pm. During those days it's unlikely I'd have time to post much at all. If you guys wouldn't mind me mainly just posting on the other days then we could still do it. Perhaps a three way battle? Maybe my character can be extra elusive so that when I'm gone I can have them get some distance on the battle and not be as much of a factor until the character swoops back in again. But that could make it unfair for my character to become sort of invulnerable during those times so waiting would likely be the best option.

EDIT: Or you two could duke it out.
As she rushed into the room she noticed him doing some odd gesture at his mouth. Perhaps it was just too dark to see the details, but it could possibly be a weapon that he was holding. Whatever the case he was certainly up to something or else he wouldn't be wasting his time doing that. He wasn't preparing for a melee battle with that pose, so it would make since that it would instead by another long range sort of attack unless he was just trying to confuse her.

Her eyes darted around to the broken furniture littering the room haphazardly, looking for cover if she'd need to break off from her attack at the last second. To her left was half of a table thrown onto it's side more or less intact, the other half a mass of splinters and chunks of wood where the table likely smashed into the ground as it was thrown backwards.

He sent another of those gas attacks her way just as her eyes went back his way, prompting her to take this escape route by lunging over most of the mess and then rolling to a stop behind the table. She picked up a few random splinters into her outfit and body but it certainly wasn't lethal and not her concern at the moment. She had closed roughly half the distance of the room but she still had a ways to go if she were to reach him and not much more cover along the way.

Now that she was closer she spotted a precariously damaged bookshelf on the wall behind him and to his right. If it fell it could cause a loud distraction and hopefully trick him into thinking that someone was behind him, at least for a brief moment. She formed one of her pockets of air next to a damaged leg and let it explode, doing enough damage on the already strained limb to offset the bookshelf as planned, causing it to begin to tumble downward. She prepared to charge again once the loud bang erupted into the room.
I got a job that works every friday, saturday, sunday and every other Thursday from 5 am to 5 pm. I also have orientation today and tomorrow. This will certainly limit my amount of free time on here. However, I'll continue the battle with my posts whenever I have the time, most likely small ones if during my working days.

P.S. Just wondering, but how in the world can a skeleton inhale/exhale?
Not that it probably matters much at all in this case, but by stabbing, she's also kind of slicing at the same time due to her weapons being half circle shape, so the rounded edge would also be slicing as it goes further in while the point at the end of the half circles would be a stabbing motion.

She let out a grin when her attack hit him at near point blank range and the maximum power that she could safely create, making it the best possible circumstances she had and likely destroyed him as he was sent flying backwards. That smile turned to a shocked expression when he got back up again moments later. She took a few small steps backwards, wondering if to run away or not at this revelation. Was she doomed to loose from the start? No, three facts dawned on her that kept her from resorting to fleeing just yet. The first was that the mysterious fog still hadn't lifted so running away was rather pointless in the long run. The second fact was that he was apparently damaged, at least to some extend, based on his weakened movements. The third was that before the dust finally settled she had caught a glimpse of a shimmering thing inside his otherwise empty abdomen that appeared to be shaken up by her attack. Common sense told her that this had to hold some significant relevance. Even if she wasn't correct, this was all she had to work with. Her air simply didn't have the destructive power to work against hard materials such as bone.

She readied her weapons, her new battle plan being to get in close to him and stab between his ribs into his central light. She could see the boney bumps of his bones pressing against the underside of his cloak, giving her a clear picture of where to target should she get the chance.

She didn't get the chance to move in while he was still struggle a bit because he formed a green blob of something that he tossed her way through the entryway. She rushed off behind cover of the wall to her right as it sailed past her head. She peeked her head in, and if he wasn't forming another of those by then she decided that he wouldn't have enough time to stop her before she could clear the distance. She'd rush in and stab into his chest cavity from both sides using both of her weapons. If he was charging another one then she'd just dodge it again when he sent it her way. Hopefully he'd waste energy that way and it wouldn't cost her any to keep dodging in this manner.

Evvie vs. Aurelia (Match 1)

Winer...AURELIA!
Can Lin see his soul? She evidently has a 0% chance of winning outside of if she can stab his soul through his ribs. He does indeed have no suit so I'm assuming it's visible and she could perhaps see it weakened from her attack.

I would prefer to write my own character's conclusion as she's a tricky one to write.

Schradinger can write a post from Schradinger's character's point of view for the battle that character is partaking in, I meant.
