You have a point. I guess if you're that bad then you kind of deserve going to 0 points, or technically 1 because you can't take a tenth of 1. Well, you can't do that for 9 or below anyways but you'd round up so take away 1 from each defeat I'm sure, but who knows if they'd take your last point or not.

We'll see if the original battle is truly dead or not before I'd start this new one.
Hopefully it will revive. If not we can always do a different battle.
If 100 points is too much, maybe you gain 10 points per round before calculations. That way you always have at least 1 point to give. This isn't really meant to be a solution to the betting problem but just not betting extra below a certain amount is indeed the obvious solution.
Maybe I could start another battle and allow fewer people so everyone doesn't have to wait so long in between posts.
Maybe everyone gains 100 points per battle before doing calculations. That would solve the problem of what happens if you go to zero and also allows more active people to get higher ranking then new people without having to win over 50% of their matches to get higher than the starting value.
I'm not sure how alive the battle is right now.
For the challenge thread, I forgot if this was mentioned but each person can have one post in the character sheet section for all of their characters and have them each in hiders. That way you can easily scroll down and just have to find the person and then the character in question from a simple list. That should help tremendously in findin characters no yet listed in the first post.
