Feel free to debate, but for me it seems like it would work well with a non-canon affiliation if you really need to be able to warp from this world to other worlds. The in canon multiverse in this roleplay has nothing able to flow out of this world, being a one way trip in due to the twisted up energy imbalance mumbo jumbo sciency/magicy stuff. It's an inescapable world where they have to adapt, not simply be able to go back where they came from (yes, I know it wouldn't be that simple, but still).

[7] - The adept at this level can essentially create a “things” out of "nothing." One of the most commonly created objects are the dreaming gates. It is via these gates that the adept can travel between worlds and dimensions. Travel between dimensions is dangerous and the traveler can easily get lost by the rapidly changing nature of the space between worlds. The dark universe is a type of “foam” that bubbles and vanishes in such rapidity that it seems as if they never had existed at all. Travel along this foam which can be viewed as a torus in space that intersects with all spaces and times in the multiverse. The dark foam folds and twists and provides "paths" which can be ridden between dimensions. An adept cannot walk between worlds until they have mastered this level of control.

tl;dr

jk I didn't have time to read super carefully, but I do have a general idea. For creating gates, obviously that would be a plot breaking ability if it can be used to get out of this world we're stuck in, so that's disabled for those in this world. As you said it's so dangerous that it would have a 0% success rate.

Rika couldn't find any of her new acquaintances after the game had ended once she began getting swarmed by fan girls who blocked her view and impeded her progress in moving around to go look for them. Sure, she could probably ask them all for help doing this for her, but she didn't feel like ordering them around. She was actually still a tad depressed about what happened with Himawari so she wasn't really in the mood for much of anything at the moment, to be honest...Ah, that's right. She still had to clear up the misunderstanding with all of that business pretty soon. Why'd they have to vanish all of a sudden?

"You did wonderfully, Ri Ri!" One of the girls complimented her despite the fact that the game ended so quickly that she never even got the chance to touch the ball.

"U-un," she managed to get out in reply, an informal affirmative. She stood on her tippy toes as she tried to look around over their heads. No luck. Her stomach growled, reminding her that she was now hungry. She could blame all that athletic activity on working up an appetite, but that wasn't the case at all. Oddly enough she could eat a whole lot while remaining skinny. "Let's go eat," she called out, trying to sound as cheerful as possible. They all agreed so they began to head to the cafeteria after changing. She hoped that she'd run into one of the girls she was looking for along the way. They had to eat something, right?

Now that I think about it, if Evvie survives then she'll be stuck with the cough, so basically if she survives then it could be bad news for both of us. Poor, poor little Evvie.

Evvie kept up the offensive as her opponent was knocked down, still coughing but doing her best not to let that bother her too much. She had lost her ability to use fire but it seemed like she was able to do everything else well enough not to be too detrimental to her fighting ability. Her opponent was showing more battle damage then what he had inflicted on her as far as she was concerned, so she was still feeling rather confident.

She jumped upwards and did a flip so that her feet would land on his face as she came back down to the ground with all of her weight and power. If a punch was enough to wound him, such an attack might be able to finish him off in one fell swoop.

Name: Emperor Paguin Jr.

Race: Peng Peng clan of Penguins
Appearance: He's very large, even among the mighty Peng Peng, standing it at 9'4''. He looks like a fat emperor penguin but with hair-like feathers forming a curly beard and ruffled feathers sticking upwards like a headdress. He wears a golden crown and has golden colored eyes. Attached to a backpack-like device are four robotic arms in total that can reach up to 2 in front of him. The top right holds a large scepter, the top left a scimitar, and the bottom two are free, commonly resting on his belly. The only clothing he wears is white ruffles around his neck and a black tie.

Personality: He's arrogant and selfish, willing to sacrifice even his own people if it's to fulfill his own twisted desires. He's both quick to anger and hard to please. His ruthlessness has allowed him to come out on top of both the Peng Peng and many other species in the Arctic Region, where he now rules with an iron fist...err...flippers. His goal is to conquer the entire world, eradicating the pesky mammals he despises so much for being so full of themselves.

Abilities

Physical Enhancements- His fat is actually specifically trained to be able to absorb tons of damage, bouncing back blunt attacks and taking less damage from almost any other attack. He's well suited for surviving cold temperatures. His other physical abilities are what you'd expect for a penguin of his size (without using the logic of him crumpling under his own weight due to penguins not designed to be so large).

Powers

Breaking the Ice- Any ice his flipper has contact with can begin to crack before outright shattering. This technique works up to 100 meters, but the cracks must spread from the point of contact.
Wishing the Washy- Any water touching his flippers can push him along, allowing him to swing quickly.

Weaknesses

*His belly is the best defended, but bonk him on the back of the skull where he's the least defended and he'll go down far easier.

*See "other" in "equipment". He goes to great length to protect this.

Equipment

Body: Strapped to his back is a mechanical device that sprouts four robotic arms. They are only as tough as steel. They can each lift up to a ton before breaking.
Weapons: A massive steel scimitar.
Items: A steel scepter and a golden crown with jewels on it.
Other: Unknown to most others, he's actually sitting on an egg inside of this thrown at almost all times, raising the future prince himself with an almost tender loving care despite his hatred for almost everything else. He doesn't even trust the mother of his child to touch the egg, and even had her exiled to keep this fact a secret.

Bio

Emperor Panguin Jr. was always ambitious, wanting to reign over everyone under the guise of it being for the good of all Peng Peng. Their much hated rivals, the polar bear clan known as the Polbears, was by far the most powerful in the arctic during the rule of his father, but Panguin Jr. raised his clan up to great heights at the cost of liberty and doing many questionable things along the way. In the end the Polbears fell, and any rebellions both foreign and domestic were put down before his might. He ruled over all of the arctic at this time so expanded his sights to the mainland, where the other dreaded mammalian clans lived who were just as bad or even worse then the Polbears. Although his efforts were formidable, in the end his empire was split apart and forced to retreat. Nobody ever got justice for his war crimes, as Panguin Jr. managed to safely escape with his egg and was never heard from again.
