Maybe they do a poor job working together so some guy punishes the team by making them all switch bodies to see what it's like in their shoes? It's part of training or something, but their training gets interrupted and they have to fight off an actual threat while in each other's bodies, making things difficult at first but then they learn their lesson and get really effective working together and listening to one another as they shout out how to get their body to work right.
Just a thought.
