I must create a high tiered queen of Snek.
Name: Camel (Real name Rhymus Calem) Age: 35 Gender: Male Race: Human Appearance: Despite being a human, his resemblance to a camel is uncanny and his last name is an anagram for it, earning his nickname. He has golden tanned skin, a bald head, dark beady eyes, a large nose, and a large mouth. He's a tad overweight in belly fat and face but the rest of his body isn't too heavy looking. Her wears clear circular glasses and a brown/tan uniform comprised of a trenchcoat, a long tattered scarf, a fluffy bulbous hat, rags, white bandages wrapped around multiple parts of his body, and durable boots. Keeping with his namesake, there's a protrusion on his back underneath his trenchcoat that stores his primary device. Personality: He's greedy and may steal on occasion, especially if he thinks the person deserves to have something taken from them and the opportunity arises. If asked for a favor then he'll offer his assistance...for a high price. He mostly keeps to himself unless there's a reason not to be, such as sweet talking someone into doing something that he desires. He doesn't like giving excess information or talkative people, feeling that actions speak louder then words. He feels uncomfortable committing any major crimes, excluding theft (which he doesn't consider that big of a deal depending on the circumstance), so he may stand his ground if things go overboard and try to do the right thing. Abilities Physical Abilities- His abilities are of a normal man. It's said that his sense of smell is considerable, being at the peak of human potential. Perhaps it's a result of his big nose, he jokes. His vision without his glasses is only 20/40. Cartographer- He's very skilled at creating and reading maps, picturing his environment in his head with ease as long as he's gotten a glance of it and can infer what the environment he can't see might be like based on the surrounding environment. Tacking- He can track by way of footprints, smell (but not as keen as a hound dog), or other signs that might be left by whatever he's tracking. Exploration- Using all of his previously mentioned skills and survival instincts, he's really good at exploration. Negotiator- Able to get better deals then most by knowing how to strike a bargain. Dagger Combatant- He's skilled with daggers. Powers He can manipulate sand within a radius of 10 feet, moving it up to speeds of 50 miles an hour. Doing so takes energy and concentration, so if he uses his power for around 10 minutes straight then he will be completely exhausted. Equipment Body: On his back is strapped a wind sailor, which is a giant fan (the size of a half of his torso) and collapsible skies that attach to his shoes to allow him to sail across sand. He can also use the fan to blow or suck in sand. Weapons: 10 daggers hidden within his trenchcoat of various sizes, most of them as durable as steel. Bio He's a treasure hunter who often operates in the desert, his area of expertise, and there's still plenty left to uncover there. He makes enough money from map sales on the side that this extra money is just to satisfy his greed and for the excitement of it all.
I think a good start to the roleplay is all of our characters at the meeting and an assassin working for the humans (maybe a snake) kills off the eagle leader of the united animal republic. Panic ensues.

1. I excluded other large animals like rhinos because they don't live in the Americas, or they were among the many trying to create feudal holds in South America.
2. Also, most bugs living within the Human Empire boundaries are allied with them, because otherwise it would be similar to nuclear war. Humans use poisons, bugs spread diseases, no one wins. The bugs outside of the human empire are with the UAR.
3. But which animals are the bad guys again, and where would their territory be?
4. I was thinking maybe the plot this revolves around could be a kingdom rising in South America where several evil animals united to destroy the humans and the UAR.

1. You mean Africa, right? The rhinos would be trying to do so in Africa and may send mercenaries over to the Americas for whatever reason.
2. We could say they can no longer spread diseases. Something about all the mutations going on.
3. Snakes, spiders, rats (mice would be the good ones), crows, vultures, etc. All the animals with a bad rap. I'll think of their possible territory.
4. Hmm...

Understandable, but I've reached a conclusion with Important, I believe. I'd think species that have a reputation for being wicked, like snakes and other reptilians, could be the antagonists that want to take the deserts of North America for some reason or these reptilians see themselves as the 'most powerful' species and wish to destroy/enslave the UAR.

The bad guy animals wish to conquer everything, not just the good guy animals. Probably.

Sure. Would that be acceptable?

Yes.
Rhino mercenaries?

I assumed that the rest of the world would be like the Americas, with other species across oceans forming their own UAR. Since my character's natural habitat is in Africa, I'm thinking the African animals could've formed their own UAR, the African-Animal Republic. The European/Middle Eastern species formed another Republic or sorts, Russian animals, etc. Or maybe that's too in-depth for what you're going for.

To keep everything in one place those can exit, but he'd travel to the America location for one reason or another.
It seems like everything important is taking place in the Americas (North, central, and south), so perhaps most of the rest of the world is now a barren wasteland, somehow destroyed in the war? The polar bears are fine because nobody would bother attacking the artic.

You didn't include other factions such as the bad guys and dogs.

Definitely not all bugs would be with the humans. A lot would be with the United Animal Republic.
Will they be against the good guy animal alliance and the bad from the start if they think they can conquer everyone (on land)?
Name: The Cubist (alternate reality of Rave Friendenburg
Age: 36
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearance:
That is of Rave Friendenburg, but being the same guy, just an alternative reality, means that everything is almost exactly the same besides his clothing. He wears a black leather bodysuit (not the sexy kind and has padding so luckily doesn't reveal anything), knee high black boots and elbow high black gloves. He also wears three necklaces, three bracelets, and three anklets, each necklace containing five 30 mm steel cubes strung along it and the bracelets/anklets containing five 15 mm ones. However, these have a purpose so will also be mentioned in equipment.

Personality: Few know what he was truly like while working among the shadows as his time as the mad scientist version of himself before he split realities and went down the path of the cubist. After suffering from amnesia, and as a result loosing sight of his original motivations, his personality has changed. A lot of his personality is the same as the mad scientist version but a few glaring differences. Let's first get the similarities out of the way.

He has remained a very intelligent but is now scatterbrained. He struggles to focus on anything complicated in a serious manner for very long, resulting in what was originally a clever idea might end up leaving a lot to be desired with the final product by venturing off into the loony bin or just not working out as planned. He's also prone to forgetting stuff that he doesn't bother remembering such as where he left his pens, causing him to lose hundreds of pens over the years and he never learns his lesson. Any attempts to find the huge stash of missing pens around his underground lair has been futile. He's an incredibly carefree guy who only does things if they interest him or sometimes on a whim. Therefore he never sticks to any long term goals, preferring short bursts of fun evil doing to cease his boredom. This enjoyment is what drives him more then the goals themselves, so if one of his plans is in jeopardy but the result can be more interesting then his original plan then he might allow it to fail. He'd even go so far as to watch enemies sneak around in his lair without alerting anyone in order to see what would become of this development. If he really wants something done, however, then he's capable of being more serious about it.

Now for the differences. He decided on a whim not to go down the road of scientists. He had a new passion in life; all things cubes, as he discovered the weird changes in his brain after the amnesia set in had him with a newfound fetish for cubes. Cubes changed his life when he discovered a device that can help him store anything he wants in cubes! It's hard for him to focus on anything else. What does he want in a cube next? That's his main goal; to put the world's best things into cubes.

Abilities

Physical Abilities- He's just a man without much exercise.
Clever Insanity- He's very intelligent, although due to his condition he's limited from what he was in the past, originally being one of the smartest people in existence. This applies mostly to book smarts.
Observation- He can see fine details that others might miss.
Resourcefulness- Able to make the most of his situation.
Judge of character- Can more easily then a lot of people find out if people are lying or other qualities about them that could possibly show through. He's equivalent to Sherlock Holmes, at least until his scatterbrain takes effect.

Powers

This is a form of technology that can easily be mistaken as magic. After installing a device into his brain, his body has unlocked the ability to be able to squash objects into cubes formed out of swirling purple energy. All he has to do is place both hands on the object and channel the walls of an dimension through his fingertips, forming a cube shape that will slowly squeeze them inside up until the desired size and then seal them/it inside this dimension once the move is completed. The cube can be no bigger then 1 cubic foot before becoming too unstable but he prefers making them much smaller. After touching the cube again he can dispel the dimension to bring the object inside back out to the real world. The object inside weighs only as much as it's new size relative to the outside world. Magical attacks can shatter the cube walls pretty easily and brute strength, although would require around the force of a bullet to break through.

This power of his can be done for two major purposes.

Summoning- If he does the squeezing process slow enough then the object can survive/not break and be summoned at a later date, and it doesn't even need to eat, sleep, or do any natural processes during this time, being kept in suspended animation. Even massive dragons can be at his fingertips, just so long as they don't eat him rather then his enemies. To be safe for this process and keep them alive/not broken, a good rule of thumb is that he can only make them squeeze to 50% of their size every 30 minutes. That being said, it would take a 6 foot tall human an hour and 15 minutes to squeeze them down to the maximum allowed size to be stable without him working on it and the Cubist must be using his powers the entire time before reaching this point without a break.

Elimination- If he catches someone between his hands and starts to squeeze, he doesn't have to do so gently. He can reduce someone/something human sized to 50% of their size in only 10 seconds. Although if they're flexible they can contort into a position that takes up 50% less space then they will be fine...for that 10 seconds. He can keep the move going until they no longer have any space to go and are crushed as small as desired up until the size of a standard virus.

Equipment

Items: The necklaces, anklets, and bracelets (mentioned in his appearance) carry, in total, 45 summons that include both animate and inanimate objects that he has collected over the years. They are protected in steel cubes, which can be unhinged to reveal the swirling purple cubes inside that hold the object. I'm not going to be listing all 45, at the very least not now. I'll add some in time.

Bio

Rave's past has been largely forgotten due to a self inflicted case of amnesia caused by one of his own inventions, intentionally or otherwise unknown even to him. At the time he had become one of the greatest evil geniuses in the multiverse. Even so there was still not much was known about him besides the legends, and some claim he never even existed at all, or was perhaps an entire team of scientists working together. He interacted with others only from the shadows, so there are no known people who know of his identity or have met him in person with the knowledge of who he was. The action most attributed to him is helping lead a robotic army of I.L.L. (Interdimensional Liberation Legion), which is responsible for being at war with many nations around the multiverse who they believe are abusing their power. I.L.L.'s end goal might be admirable to eliminate all corrupt governments, but their means to such an end and key members who have other goals in mind leave the organization far from heroic. Rave is rumored to have little true allegiance to I.L.L. or any other group for that matter, simply using them for his scientific research and curiosity with an end goal of achieving some so called "ultimate discovery". Had he achieved such a feat then he probably would have become as powerful as a god, but as it turns out that would not come to pass, at least for now, as the amnesia kicked in and with it erased all progress towards that goal.

This event that caused amnesia also split him into two realities. The cubist made use of the cube forming technology he stumbled upon from his previous years while the mad scientist version found two robots. The cubist has been wandering the multiverse ever since in search of the perfect thing to claim as his own inside one of his cubes.
