Melon was terrified of spiders, especially large ones, but the appearance of these people to save the day was enough to bring him joy that easily overwhelmed any other emotion, at least for the time being. He owed them his life, so it would be impolite to act frightened by their appearance even if that unsettling feeling began to fill him as the excitement of the ordeal began to wear off.

"Spiders aren't bad. These people are not bad," he told himself in his mind repeatedly. "Phobias are silly. There's nothing to be afraid of."

"Ah, I'm Melon," he replied to one of their demands, standing with his back straight in good posture despite how tired he was from all his running making it difficult to even stand. If they looked with any attention at all they could probably see his body quivering, not just from the leftover adrenaline but also because of his sore muscles and fear. The name he gave wasn't his true name, but a codename he had used on earth because he loved to eat melons. He now blurted it out instinctively rather then his real name, but it might as well be his real name now. It was much easier for people to pronounce then his bizarre, alien (at least to them) name.

He stood still, not knowing what else to do besides wait for a reply.

He will taste better then. Perfect.

If he's still hungry.
Patience, young one. Patience...
We don't need to argue about smell.

But I'd assume the rain is washing away a lot of smell anyways. For example, Evvie would normally smell but all the dirt and such is washed away by now so she's clean.
Kenzo is accepted.

I'll start working on my post, but people can still have time to join even after as long as it's before everyone posts their introduction, then my girl will free everyone. If anyone misses that deadline then they can appear in the next run through.

How about I create a more sturdy fighter to help us? The witch girl won't do much helping outside of plot related stuff.
Evvie placed her hands against her temples and grimaced as a voice somehow burst into her head. She knew it wasn't her own thoughts because she probably would not have delivered a comeback against herself and called herself "snore no goal" or something like that. Yeah, that made no sense at all.

She turned her attention back to the monster to see him grabbing for a chimney. He didn't appear to be too effected by the fire, which was bad news for Evvie. More bad news was why he was doing this. It couldn't just be because he was irritated that she was out of reach so was taking it out on a building, could it? He brought it back, a surefire throwing motion. Her eyes widened. She had never considered this possibility and was most certainly not high enough to be out of range of projectiles. She couldn't raise that high that fast, not by a long shot, and that would simply be retreating anyways. There was no option but to take the predictable and much quicker route by diving down at full speed. She didn't really need to change direction herself because gravity was able to pull her down at the speed it always would have once she stopped flapping around and tucked her wings in close to her body. She did have some forward momentum in addition to downward, and without her flapping around she was send falling rapidly in the direction of one of the buildings.

On the bright side the debris being flung at her sailed just overhead, missing her even if it was close enough to send a breeze flowing through her hair. What was now the danger was crashing into the building. She flapped her wings frantically so she could now slow her freefall descent, but was not able to completely avoid impact and slammed against the wall with a thud, stunning her briefly as she fell down a storey flat onto her back. She let out a groan, lying there for a bit to try to regain her senses. On the bright side she was tucked away in some alleyway that wasn't in any immediate danger of combat, so she should be safe long enough to recover.

Why would you eat the elves' corpses in the middle of the fight? Snoreghoul just ate, didn't he?

You're the stinking corpse, I assume.
Yeah. You guys can win, but there's no fun being equipped to the teeth with so much good stuff you can kill a jedi master before they can fight back. Kind of defeats the purpose.

Would you like me to create the thread? It won't be much besides a brief outline and character sheets.
One padawan might not be enough. I must send...an army of padawans!!!
I'll post today.
