<Snipped quote by IncredibleBee> the game?
Invasion 2019, yes. You never gave the word on who accepted; everyone's still waiting.
Wait, so are any of us even in the game?
I posted my guy.
Name: Toramaru Age: 43 Gender: Male Ethnicity/country of origin: Japan Rank: None Appearance: A grizzled, middle-aged man whose body is thick with muscle. He has swept back black hair and intense, fiery eyes showing a burning passion leftover from his youth. Even his hands are thick and rough with callouses. His face has a tired, rough look, as if he were carved from wood. Covering his back is a large, intricate tattoo of a ferocious tiger, giving off a mighty roar. He commonly wears shorts, sandals, and Hawaiian shirts. Method of getting powers: Surgery Experiment or recruit?: Recruit Powers & their limits: Ultra-dense muscle and bone tissue. Primarily this grants Toramaru greatly enhanced strength. He can easily toss cars, punch through concrete, and rip through steel with his teeth. At his maximum, he could bench press a house. Additionally, the durability allows him to do these things without his body getting crushed. He's also ridiculously good at taking a punch. He can shrug off conventional firearms. Something on the level of a tank shell hitting him would be like hitting a normal person with a light jab. Additionally, he is rapidly attaining finer muscle control. Personality: Toramaru is a hotblooded man, who believes in loyalty to your family. He's brash, arrogant, and frankly not at all pleased with where today's youth is headed. To most of his new co-workers, he's a grumpy and harsh man. His only desire is to retire back to Okinawa with his family. After having a child, he got really into superheroes from seeing them on the television constantly. Backstory: Toramaru grew up in the poor side of town, and fell in with a rough crowd as a child. Ditching class to fight other kids, sell pot for his uncle, and shake down anyone weaker meant he was drafted into the Yakuza pretty quickly. He began a lucrative, if highly dangerous, job as an enforcer, mostly beating down other mobsters for the sake of territory. This lasted until his older brother was shot on the streets in an act of revenge. Heartbroken, Toramaru agreed to help his boss pull one last gig, securing the last of Tokyo before retiring to Okinawa. For the past several years, he's been living in retirement, teaching a boxing school. After the threat of alien attack, Japanese intelligence agencies began going through the nation's medical records, searching for citizens with a potential for high power. Toramaru was just such a candidate, despite his history of violence. In exchange for a pardon from numerous crimes he did and didn't commit, he's been pressed into service with no official rank, given a dangerous surgery, and told to fight an exceedingly dangerous extraterrestrial enemy. He is allowed to call his family on the phone once a week, and has convinced his child he is actually a superhero. Equipment: A bokken. On the hilt is carved the kanji for "Discipline"
I'll join.
"Well, anyone with a brain can file papers, right?" Bee said, furrowing his brows. "The important part is the field work. Whaddya need me to do, and what do I have to learn to do it?" he asked.
"Well, what kind of training do I need?" Bee asked, sitting down in front of the camera and smiling. "Like combat or something? Or, like, driving? I can drive okay, if that's what you're asking." he said.
Ah, a man who appears completely normal, a 'player' like you... who pulls out science fiction items, throws master-level spells with abandon, and has Spyro and Fox on his side, along with a small aggravating horde of Zerg and MechWarrior walkers
this is hardly what I would consider a "hacker" or relate to the word "hacker". It mostly just looks like "well I can do or summon all this stuff I think is cool".
You misunderstand. Ever read James Dashner's (The Maze Runner guy) book "The Eye of Minds"? It's really interesting, and provides some very unique plot-twisters. No, he's a hacker not because he's summoning them, but because he stuck his virtual hand through the firewalls and the virtual world itself, and pulled different things from different, other 'realms' or whatever, to serve his purpose. For example, he may just reappear elsewhere every time you try to throw a fireball at him, or try to shoot him, neatly avoiding you. He may pull the armor from your very shoulders, and leave you in a pink kitty outfit for his personal amusement. Not summoning- breaking and entering in an instant, more like.
We're not in a virtual universe anymore. Almost everyone agreed it was dumb, and we ditched the idea.
"Name's Bee, miss." he shook the girl's hand. "And yeah, Smith said I could get an ID here. And something about training? Do I need training?" he asked, tilting his head.
"Sure thing, friend." Bee stepped inside the pod. He struck a mummy pose, crossing his arms over his chest in an X. "Alright, launch me!"
