... Oh, that's a good point, I forgot how far the "doesn't hurt good" thing goes. ^^;

It's been a looooong time since I watched Samurai Jack.

Yeah, it can't hurt anything good aligned. So, like half the cast. Including I think some SE and S+ members.

If you want to hurt Saber, you need antimagic weapons.
Nono's super-strong stuff isn't relevant because she is pretty much not allowed to use it at all in the RP.

The exception is IF we ever get a scenario where she has that much room, enemies that warrant it, and I okay it, which is extremely unlikely.

The agreement for her acceptance was that she can't use her overkill attacks because of collateral damage.

I'd also like to point out that, out of the characters mentioned as being stronger than her... Samurai Jack has the best chance because he's so incredibly skilled he could easily fight Saber. There's certainly plenty of ways to hurt her in the RP, but pure magical attacks? Kazuma's not looking good in that department given Saber's magic resistance. ^^;

But this is the reason SE mooks have magically-enhanced laser gun things, so they can hurt characters like Saber who have extreme resistance to mundane attacks and magic.

I was out for a while so I haven't had a chance to look at any bios as well. ^^;

Doesn't Jack's sword hurting Saber imply that Saber is evil?
Guts - School

"If they haven't run already, that's their problem." Guts said, giving his iron hand a wave. Gripping the thick hilt of his sword, he kicked open a door leading to a stairwell leading straight down. The stairs, of course, were crawling with undead, moaning and limping towards the sounds of their voices. An armored boot shot forward, cracking the monster's sternum as it tumbled down, crashing into several others into a pile. Several bombs followed, detonating and sending a splatter of gore back at the Swordsman. Grinning, he hopped over the rail and landed on the next floor, bringing his sword down into a downwards slsh, cleaving an undead in two. Dragging it along the ground, he brought it into and uppercut, dismembering another before bringing it to his shoulder. Down both ends of the hall were dozens of freshly turned undead.

Guts shifted his weight forwards, and began to carve his path out.
Guts - School

"I wouldn't call them irritating." Guts said, dropping a brick over the ledge. "Hmmm."

"Anyways, if you really want to help, find me some turpentine. This building is swarming at the moment, and these monsters are softheaded, so locking them in and starting a fire should clear out most of them. Then we can pick off the leftovers." as he explained this, he picked up a wooden picnic table, and carried it to the ledge. Dropping it, he watched the furniture crash down below, snapping bones as it landed on the heads of several undead. The black swordsman gave a half smile.
"But before then, I can blow off steam getting to the bottom."
Guts - School

Guts' head turned briefly to eye the new girl. Out of all the things to survive, it was a pair of girls? They must have taken a few lucky turns while everyone else was killed in the panic. He'd need a way to leave; at this rate he was liable to find another nest of trolls, on top of whatever caused these undead.

"Don't expect much help, if that's what you're after. Get outta town." he replied, looking at the ground. Stories below, dozens of corpses had already gathered, and begun to wander in every direction, shuffling against each other. Humming in curiosity, he lit and dropped a bomb below. The detonation took the legs off a few, and the others nearby began to shuffle to the source of the explosion.
Guts' head slowly turned towards the weird albino. He knew it was hard for some people to figure things out, but this was ridiculous.

"You put one foot in front of the other. Now get going; it's dangerous here." he said, his thick black cape flowing in the breeze. With this, he put a single foot on the edge of the building, and scanned the horizon. The nearby city was large, and made with odd, blocky architecture he didn't quite recognize. It was too utilitarian to be normal housing, and much larger as well. A city this large must have no doubt been ancient.

Guts tried to fill in the blanks in his mind. A city this large must have required magical means to build. Naturally, they messed with things they didn't understand, and summoned these monsters, which proceeded to decimate the population. It was times like these Guts wondered why he himself traveled alongside a mage.
@IncredibleBee Are you waiting for something

Actually I wanted to wait for Vita to post before going ahead, but okay.
Guts - School

Guts swung his sword downwards, stopping shortly before the ground. Most of the gore hit the ground with a splat. Slinging back into the strap across his back, he tossed his thick, ragged black cape back around his shoulders, staring the white-haired girl down with his remaining eye. Whatever worlds he'd been stumbling across, there must have been a lot less war for the swordsman to keep running into soft young creatures as this.

"Go back to your home. It's not safe here." he said.

And within the bounds of an RP, the limits are basically whatever lines the character will never cross and your only ability to work out why they would do something. Unless a path is utterly abhorrent, the only way for something to be a complete no-go is conceding your own inability to decide on a why.

That's what I'm saying. We're playing specific characters, and each character has motivations and reasons to do or not do something. Since we did not create the characters, we don't get to decide what those are.
But from an OOC perspective, there's no reason to go on a mission where you don't know what you're doing because what if you don't enjoy it?
From an IC perspective, there's still no reason because there's other stuff that needs doing and this girl won't at least tell you why she needs to hire agents. Even if the agent wanted to just help out, most agencies themselves won't hire out their employees without knowing what they need to do. Especially when that same agency is currently fighting a multidimensional war.
<Snipped quote by IncredibleBee>

Simple altruism. Distaste for the other missions. Hearing it before hearing the others. Judging the people doing the urgent stuff more than sufficient. Unless something is directly against a character's beliefs, coming up with reasons is trivial.

Coming up with reasons why a character would do a thing is actually essential, though. It's the point of a character.

Even people themselves are basically big balls of incentives.
