Well, if you threaten to execute her, Iwa will not be amused and given the timeframe this is operating in, Iwa could very well be there quickly.
I may not be able to get many posts up for the next few days. I am studying for a big exam and I am doing some things on my thread. If anything is urgent, please PM me (and you are all invited on my thread as well).
I think you missed the point I was making.

Lets even just look at a basic Fireball technique of a decent size. Not only does that provide cover in that you can obscure yourself (or objects) behind it allowing for certain amount of in combat adaptability, you can use it to create damage to weak points on structures, or to start a forest on fire in combat to give yourself an advantage.

An illusion is just that - an illusion. You can't use your Genjutsu to destroy something to give yourself an advantage, you can't really do much other than alter the perceptions of your opponent; which is something that can be largely grouped together under a singular technique solely by being vague about it. I used to have more techniques on my characters such as Touzoku and Chiyoko mostly because I went specific with my medical techniques. However, I found that to be tedious after awhile as it is easy to overlook something. Thus I created Souken to fill that gap, as I could adapt it to suit a number of my needs.

Genjutsu lack a certain adaptability in combat unless they are vague - specificity only breaks something that could easily be one technique into a bunch of smaller ones, which is largely a flavor aspect of things.
A lot of what people don't really get about Genjutsu is that unless they are general, then you don't really get a whole lot out of them. If you make them specific, often for flavor purposes, then you actually have that adaptability that is intrinsic with most other technique forms.

You need to consider a lot of Genjutsu can be easily grouped together under one umbrella (a singular technique). Tuuj has just largely opted to separate them.

I didn't know "all canon genjutsu" was specific.Especially when Izanagi and Tsukyomi fall under that umbrella.Again though, that's an unnecessary amount of techniques.

Well, that yes, would be in agreement - although my point would be that those largely have set effects; most custom genjutsu tend to be very non-specific. However, I *WOULD* suspect that considering Izanagi and Tsukiyomi require a Sharingan that it'd be preeeeetty much impossible for those to be done. He hasn't met the requirement for that.

Unless you make a lot of them stupidly powerful, then you don't have the same amount of malleability as you do with even the most basic of many ninjutsu.

That is largely because his Genjutsu are VERY specific.

Most people in bios - 'lolgenjutsuillusion' where it does pretty much everything + z0mg physical effect.
Rebena - Eien & Kimlee

It was only a moment before Chyou and Itsuki would arrive with Kimlee. Eien, flashing light forward towards the incoming Elbedin before turning to the gate. He had surmised the point of the gate and what it required - noticing some details similar to ones that had been overlooked by others in the past. Thrusting his hand forward, into the slot, he began to glow with a soft white light. He felt nothing as his hand was beginning to be shredded, suppressing the pain with his magic. With his skill in Resoration, he healed the wounds back fast enough that it wouldn't be an issue. The blood loss, however, was another issue. After tributing to the gate, Eien began to fall forward, but was caught by Ohitsuji. Now slumped on his back, Eien floated forward at maximum speed.

Kimlee beckoned for the group to pile through, towards the light that encircled the massive, ancient tree that stood in the center. There were no spirits here to chase them, the tree clearly some kind of antithesis to them. They would be safe within the confines of this gate, at least that was a suspicion - safe from at least one threat for now.

And Suzaku flew down and torched everything with fire.
Touzoku

"Understood, Lady Tsuchikage," Touzoku nodded, rising from her chair before giving a bow to her superior. "I will be ready at first light." Touzoku was typically up at that hour anyway, so the departure time was irrelevant. Sleep was something she was rarely afford, often having to use her own Genjutsu to put herself to sleep. Memories she had stolen from other people often haunted her dreams - creating really peculiar dreams and making her sleep often restless without using such techniques. Of course, there was something more efficient with using her Genjutsu in this manner as she could create extremely restful sleep in a more efficient timeframe, allowing her to easily run on very limited sleep - essentially pushing herself into REM cycles very quickly.

There was little left for Touzoku to discuss at this point. She knew her tasks at hand. Akaritori didn't need to go into greater detail as that was a lot of the autonomy that Touzoku possess in her position - to execute her mission by her means, but with Akaritori's standards. She would accomplish her mission efficiently and effectively.

Just before she was about to leave, Touzoku turned a final time, "Do you have anything else you wish for me to do?"
All hail our benevolent Tsuchikage and her infinite wisdom.
Near Relin

Moving the dirt was indeed the correct process. While Axel would find nothing of great interest, he would receive his only clue he was on the right track - a stone brick, clearly cut with great care. It could have easily belong to a building of ancient times or some cobbled street. It would take lots of time on his own to uncover the area, especially without further advancement of himself or his Natrelmon. However, the cities almost always had someone looking for some kind of work. With the right amount of resources, it would be possible to dig down to his 'reward' within a few weeks, shorter if he managed to speed up the process with enough personal advancement. However, for now, he would have to retreat, the storm waiting at bay no longer for him - snow whipping up around him in a violent, dangerous torrent.
