Eh, more and more I feel like how I'd do things IC is going to conflict. I'm hesitant to post at this point.

I'm not sure I'm a good fit for this thread. I think what I am trying to get out of it is too different from others.

The Madara issue was mostly because he had infinite chakra. The leading to blindness thing is removed, as it seems the side effects of it are less severe, but that really wasn't the problem for them.

That is an issue of ability moderation, not an issue with player death.

And frankly, I don't care about any reason's. Touzoku would *NOT* be pleased that they sent their Jinchuuriki out on such a mission. It comes across as moronic in terms of leadership.

I honestly don't think the village would see her as missing. After all, they were assigned to spy in konaha by the republic. So technically she wouldnt be classified as missing.

To be honest I think this mission is stupid anyway and that any competent leader would send back up for this - backup of more experience and higher caliber.

Who would know of her absence? Iwagakure? If so then only ones that know is her parents and Kii's parents and Ryou's parents. This is happening in the heart of Konoha.

You really don't think that the leader of their 'group', the leader of Iwa's Black Ops, and a sensor would be aware of the fact the seven tails left?

If you're not going to take at least a couple hits:

Taking hits is a funny thing, you know. Everyone often harps on people taking hits, but when I read the stuff, it is all things that are generally easily avoidable with very little ingenuity to it. I've only been legitimately hit a few times in the last few years in terms of combat, and that was honestly because of an absolutely bullshit excuse of an ability. If you aren't going to put any effort into creating something that is legitimately challenging to deal with, I'm not going to put forth the effort to get hit by it. My characters aren't morons, and neither am I.

That is just my philosophy on it. For Touzoku, if she is going to get into a fight, it'll probably largely be for a kill. She doesn't mess around with that kind of stuff.

Okay here's my view on the situation. I'll spare any character that attempts to attack Oda, but the minute you guys try to autohit or miss all my attacks and shitz like that then I will attempt to kill off a character. If the situation permits it i will, but if you plan carefully, y'all can succeed in saving Shira, but don't try to be the hero by yourself. Have a team, a plan, and try to not just charge head forward, cause it will end badly.

Speaking of the Shira situation, where is that at? I'd assume the village would know of her absence. I'll probably get involved in that with Touzoku since that falls under her abilities and purview.

I'm just generally not a fan of if "I get to survive even though someone validly cut my head off because it wasn't agreed upon beforehand". I feel it is such a cop out. Characters, I feel, do better if they feel the risks of life as well - otherwise I think they can often stagnate.

Uh, mostly just to chat. I don't mind having positive relationships with other similar-themed roleplays. I know that on the old guild, there were always like Six Naruto-themed roleplays that hated each other, and I hated it. There is no reason to hate someone who enjoys the same thing in a different way. And for the former elitists of the Advanced Section, there's no reason to hate a Naruto-fan who just can't write as well.

On that subject, there is a lot of different philosophies with how things should be done.

That, and some members of particular camps were incredibly hostile. I saw some pretty vicious things flung around that make me greatly dislike a number of those roleplays.

I even question if this one really will work well with me, given how I approach combat.
