I would potentially be interested in the sensei slot.
Shiō

Shiō listened closely to Kyo's explanations, making sure she absorbed the information. There were little details that stuck out as a solution to the puzzle, which meant it was largely straightforward of a task.

Inhaling deeply, Shiō closed her eyes and formed a singular sign in focus. With that, she let her senses push into the depths of the pile of sticks. She was searching for distinguishing characteristics of the singular stick that Kyo had just been holding. It was assumed, given that it had not been created, that that stick was special in some manner. Further extending that logic, Shiō assumed that it would have some larger concentration of chakra within it, either of Kyo's own chakra or chakra from another source - either would make it possible to separate that stick from the others.

Once she found the area that she felt the stick was in, Shiō began to methodically pull from the pile, sitting cross legged in front of it. Each stick she would pull she would put into another pile. She knew the general area of where to search for the said stick, so she did not need to go through the entire pile of sticks. The sorting was simple, either it was the stick she was searching for, or not. Of course, since there was only one correct answer, her incorrect pile grew quickly. Given the number of sticks, the task took her about one minute and thirty seconds to complete before she had the stick in question to present.

Rising up from the pile, Shiō bowed to Kyo and presented the stick in question, "I believe this one would be correct."

She gathered the task was a demonstration of problem solving, as well as methodology to solving problems. Shiō had demonstrated specifically the characteristics she had wished to exude - her patience, focus, and analytically skills. Now she needed to wait for Kyo's response, which would determine if there was indeed more digging for her to do, at that point, she would not entirely know how to dissect the task any further - at least with her skill set.
Shiō

Most mornings for Shiō were filled with routine. Like those before, since returning after the war, she sat at the table in her kitchen sipping on her tea choice for the morning, pouring through her old medical files. What would be different this morning, however, would be the early morning knock.

"Miss Shiō," called Yui's soft voice, "There is a message for you. From a Kyo. I found it in the surgery room. You have been assigned to a squad under her. You are to be at the training grounds by six thirty."

Shiō cursed under her breath. The village was incredibly disorganized, this was evidence of that. She had once been assigned to be a squad leader, now was placed under someone. It was understandable that the village would still need to find its feet after the issues it had been dealing with, but it frustrated Shiō to no end. Such things were not predictable and required deviation from her preferred patterns. The thought, for a brief moment, crossed her mind to ignore the message, but with the lack of early morning surgeries to deal with, there was no point in not showing.

Sighing, she closed her files and dismissed her assistant on the other side of the door. Grabbing her umbrella, she whistled as she stepped out, unfurling it swiftly. Hiyo landed on it a moment later, perched on the top of the umbrella. With that, Shiō headed towards her training ground, timing her arrival for exactly six twenty nine and some seconds to spare. She wanted to get this over as swiftly as possible and return to her normal patterns of things. Such disruptions were quite tiring.
I was reliable up until when I stated I had school conflicts for ~5 days. The unreliability was largely from Gothpuppy on our squad, who we had disappear to try to solve.

Just let me know if you find a spot though.
It's hard to be active when you took away the only active poster I had (Durn). I had indicated at the time that I was inactive, I had to be away for a bit. I posted within my stated schedule at that time (indicating I needed until Monday due to Midterms and projects). Immediately after that you did a reshuffle and neither Star or Goth posted, nor PMed me, so we had no way to start anything. I expressed this apprehension when you did this at the beginning.

I had been checking here daily in an attempt to get something going with my new squad, but that obviously didn't work.

If there is no space for me then, I will also withdraw.
Most of my team seems to have minimal interest at the moment.

I'm not sure how you want to utilize my char at this point then.
Are Goth or Star returning soon?
Star and Goth PM if you want to get started. I haven't seen either of you around since the team shuffle.
I suppose that is better since at least one of my peeps posts then.
Meh. I feel like that kills a lot of involvement my character can have now.
