I'm a 24 year old college student with a "tragic past" and a series of flunked schools and medical bills. Roleplaying has been my one escape from a harsh reality while growing up, and I really appreciate this site and everyone on it.
I've been on Roleplayer Guild for eight years, going on nine in a few months.

@AliceZaru, I don't care if it's in hiders, that way people who may be uncomfortable with the idea of a woman's bare mammaries being replaced by the eerie laughing heads of mammalian sea creatures (me) don't need to see them.
However, to all of you, in the future, if you are posting a gif or content that some may find offending or disturbing, do put it in hiders with a disclaimer. I want to be the nice GM, the cool mom, the mom who lets you have your friends over and takes you out for starbucks in the morning so long as you keep your room clean and are respectful. However, if I feel it is necessary, cool GM leaves the building, and is replaced by GMosaurus Rex, who has no qualms over biting peoples heads off over the smallest issue. And then it's hard to get your sinews out of my teeth, and I can't use a toothpick because of my tiny arms. Then I get a back ache after having to bend over and use my legs to grip the toothpick. Don't give Len a backache. Be kind to each other, especially me, because I'm sensitive and special.

@Damiann47 Well, you don't need to be understood by everybody, just somebody. There are many people in the crew who don't understand different languages, and will require translation by their peers. So long as someone knows what language your character speaks, they can translate for the rest of the group. :)

@Damiann47 That's just it, the Icelanders haven't left their Island for a wicked long time, and as they are the wealthiest nation, they don't need to send out traders to the Silent World (which is forbidden to common people, BTW) when they can employ Swedens, Norwegians, and Finns to do it for them. And as far as the Nordic Council knows, NO ONE has survived outside of the safe/cleansed zones. So, it is impractical for your character to know even a little bit of Icelandic. Switch to Finnish, if you want to be able to communicate with the group.

Your guy is of english descent, all the way in fukkin Russia, I can let that slide, but what makes you think your character can know even a word of Icelandic, huh? If you want a practical language, CHOOSE FINNISH, OR ESTONIAN, OR EVEN RUSSIAN! But not the language of an island a bazillion miles to the west who has only opened up to the outside world in the last couple decades or so! RANT, END!
That being said, the rest is good except for the image, which is not working. Fix those two things, and then we're good to go!

Aaand Unknown #1 has been claimed by RangingWolf. The battle of the last two slots, Unknown #2 and Scout, now starts between Sonder(If they're still interested) and Damiann47! Only one will survive, and claim glory!
@Damiann47 Yes, they don't. As an Unknown, you can be any nationality, provided it's still plausible, meaning that in addition to the five provided, Russians, Poles, Lithuanians, Estonians, Latvians, Belarussians, Ukranians, they are all allowed. You also can be an Unknown mage, though of course you would follow the rules of Finnish mages.
However, Unknowns would not have large groups or governments. Any settlements would be temporary or nomadic/semi nomadic, with groups not exceeding 15-20 people. They would be close knit, family-tribal groups, much more primitive than the Nordics, without electricity, literacy, running water, or a permanent source of food. They would be hunter-gatherers, migrating north and south with the seasons and following animals. They would also all be Immune, but very much aware of the dangers Beast, Trolls, and Giants pose. Timewise, if the Nordics were pushed back to the 1930's, then these guys were pushed all the way to BC.
So, in terms of restrictions, they don't have to have a scandinavian name, they can be any plausible age (i swear, if you play as an infant, I'm feeding you to a Troll), Any nationality (In places which have silent world. Danish, Icelandic, and Norwegian don't have very much, if any, so they aren't possible), Speak any language (Again, only those plausible, you ca't be a pole and speak fluent Icelandic), any profession, provided you can do it without electricity/heavy firepower/organized society, and any pet, as long as you remember the rates of immunity.

Hmmmm... Let's see, your character is a hunter, so... Yes, I suppose that's alright. Make a separate CS for it, similar to the Cat Squad CS's I have put up, and then I can add it in. One Grade B cat and three Grade A's, that will definitely make for some interesting social hierarchy in the feline world.
Other than that, no more cats. Cats are expensive, yo, this team ain't got the money for more than three cats, and no more space than for four. That rule, of course, doesn't apply to those Unknown, whom are welcome to have cats, dogs, whatever, so long as they keep in mind that only cats are completely immune to the Illness. Other animals have lower rates of immunity than humans, below 30%.
