The quartermaster remained standing as everyone arrived on the bridge. Every time Kin thought about it, the crew she was in was a very odd one. There was even a size-variant cook aboard. Comparing it to her youth, where everyone acted mostly the same, it brought an amused grin to her face. But it seemed that Yuriko had identified a target to pillage. While Matthew, or Ghost as he called himself, immediately started strategizing for combat, Kin thought of something else. "We would not have enough space in our hold to take an entire load from a Class Two cargoship," Kin spoke up, bringing up her datapad. "Assuming it is Class Two or above, we need to calculate how much we can take so we can maximize the profit and minimize the time wasted trying to take more than we can carry."

After making a few scribbles across it, Kin looked back up to Yuriko. "Once we establish an intercept point, we need to find out how far away the nearest Navy post is so we can determine how much time we have left before the big guns arrive. Or perhaps the ship is already guarded by the Navy." The silver-haired woman took a breath now. "We're in the same system so we need to start preparing. If you don't mind, Captain, I can go and double-check the space we have in our hold to ensure the most accurate calculations." She gave a polite bow to the girl, waiting for the order.

Phoenix Wing (A Fairy Tail RP-Always Open, Open)

For all the bold words and high energy that had dominated the guild hall, Maddox remained rather calm and quiet in his seat. As Jamie finished up her speech, Maddox kicked the chair back onto two legs and balanced himself like that. As James was still next to him, Maddox looked over to him. "Everyone is sure pumped up," he spoke. "But I don't think anything extraordinary is going to happen anyways." With that, he let out a sigh and tilted his head to look around the room. "The Magic Council isn't as strong as everyone thinks it is, you know," he continued. He didn't particularly care if anyone overheard him, considering there were still another three people at the table besides himself and James. "And you guys are stronger than you think you are. If push comes to shove, Phoenix Wing will come out on top with hardly a scratch."

The urge to light a cigarette flared up again, and Maddox had to resist it. He looked back at James now, a deadly serious expression over his face. "If the Magic Council really is dealing in dark magic... then I will step in." The red eyes looked around the table now, before Maddox started chuckling. "But odds are that won't even be necessary. You all seem strong enough to overcome that anyhow. Someone weak like me will just get to sit back and watch." A smile formed on his face as he dared to lean even further back in his seat. Somehow, almost miraculously, the chair still remained balanced. "If you all do good enough, I can probably just stay on the train and take a nap or something."

The green-haired mage gave a light pout when Zy snapped at her. She briefly contemplated tying him to the ceiling before he recanted and actually answered her question. Thusly, the smile returned. "I see," she responded simply, before Zy stormed off. Clearly he was against Ben's idea of confronting Pollux. Mary could very well understand his anger towards anything that would go against the master. After all, he actually did raise her. As far as she could tell though, there had to be something else bothering him to warrant such a reaction. Something that should be investigated, certainly.

But before Mary could follow Zy, she saw a particular young woman enter the hall. The only wizard in Fairy Tail comparable to her own ability, though far less reserved with it. Ever since Izzy had joined, Mary had paid close attention to the girl. After all, she had a magical presence much like her own. But mainly because of her disposition. She would never explain, but Mary could feel a darkness in that girl. And now Izzy had returned from some kind of mission while also making Mary look foolish for her lack of money. Furthermore, she beat Ben to the punch and asked Pollux what the Haven job was all about.

Ben took off toward the master as well, and even Sanguin that was sitting nearby also followed. Leaving Mary standing alone for a moment. "Sheesh," she let out, before sighing. She brushed some hair out of her face and skipped over to Pollux as well, though she took her sweet time. Just as Izzy was leaving, in fact, Mary arrived around all the hubbub. Pretending she didn't hear Izzy's disrespect toward the master, Mary looked up to him with a smile. "If you want, I can chaperone these guys," Mary suggested, placing an arm around Ben's shoulders as if they were long-time buddies. "The Rune Knights love me. Ever since I broke into the Commander's house and befriended his wife, they've always gotten along with me. Plus, it seems that I-... Reaper is going too so it'll probably be somewhat safe already." Mary flashed Ben a mischievous smile and then looked back to Pollux.

My PC is being a pain. If I suddenly disappear it will be because I smashed the computer. But I'm home now so time to work on a post.
