Piper Hatfield - Ms. One Shot
Lover's telepathy, sure, Piper thought to herself, rolling her eyes as the group was teleported to Clover town. Though her vision was a bit blurry due to the proximity, she quickly realized that she had the wrong gun to handle the demonic hounds. "Requip!" she shouted, a magic circle appearing over each hand. The sniper rifle vanished in a flash of light and a new weapon appeared in her hands. One of the hounds was now dangerously close, already lunging at her with its jaws wide open.
"Armor Piercing!" A green magic circle appeared at the muzzle of the gun, pointed directly at the incoming beast. The very second the magic circle disappeared a volley of green magical bullets sprayed forth from the weapon, tearing the demon beast that was immediately in front of Piper into bloody shreds. Without letting off the trigger, Piper began rotating her aim to give the other demon beasts their fair share of the devastation. In just a few seconds the last of the demon beasts in the area were defeated.
"These things are ass-ugly," Piper commented, giving one of the corpses a light kick. She looked over to the others, making sure they were okay. Aiden seemed to have been bit once, but Nigel saved him. Of course. "I can feel them too," Piper informed Nigel. "I'm getting to a good distance and killing the sons of bitches myself. You can just distract them a bit for me and I'll make the killshots." Piper took off at a run, notably faster than her earlier adventure. Only she wasn't running toward either the demons. In fact she seemed to be running away.
Hana Oshiro - The Last Samurai
The pink-haired woman in her pajamas seemed confused by Matisuki. Whether it was his appearance or what he said, one could not tell simply by looking. "I need... to leave?" she repeated, pushing some more debris out of her way. Where was once the wall and door leading into the hotel room was only rubble, so there was no point in brushing it all aside. Hana carefully stepped onto the pile and walked out into the sunlight.
From her new vantage point she could see the damage done to Cedar Town. Her expression notably changed, appearing to have a slight anger upon it. "This..." Her eyes shifted, spotting and identifying Gwen and Oram before finding the Etherious demon that was attacking Matisuki. "Is unacceptable." Hana watched Gwen start an offensive on Avar, calling out for everyone to attack it. Granted the Ice Mage probably didn't know Hana was there yet, but she still did a service.
"My laziness... became the cause of pain and suffering," Hana noted to herself. She held her left hand out, a pink magic circle appearing and spawning an ornate white, sheathed katana. "I must right this wrong." Her right hand reached across and latched firmly on the katana's hilt. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "Senbonzakura..."
