Yugioh: The King's Shadow

Yami helped the girl to the Cerberus and helped her on. When she spoke, he looked to her and looked a little confused. Seto too got on Cerberus as did Yami. He got between the too. "Go Cerberus. We don't have much time." and with a roar from the lions head and a growl from what looked to be a dog's head it them charged off and toward control room to grab Mokuba and Yugi. "Mahad, we will need any help we can get if anything tries to attack us." Yami looked over the girl to see how she was holding up before keeping an arm around her waist. Seto holding onto the Cerberus alone. Yami too noticed the pendant but no idea why it glowed so brightly. "You'll be alright. Stay with us for however long you can." He told the girl as Cerberus was going around any obstacles that werent much of a challenge for him.

Seto tried to keep his grip the best he can. He knew he didn't have the strength and by seeing how she was holding up, he knew she couldn't pull herself up. But he be damned if he let someone die that tried to save him. He didn't need it in his conscious for the rest of his life. He was cruel and heartless but not that freakin' heartless. "I'm not letting go, damnit. So stop the the self sacrifice. If Yugi and Yami are here as well as their friends, then I am sure they will be able to find us." This he knew for sure. How long that would be he didn't know.

Yami nodded, hearing this news wasn't good but he knew that they would find the two and help them out. He felt secure in Mahad's arms as they flew on to help Seto and his ally, but unsure of the danger exactly. When they found Seto and his ally, Yami saw that Seto was trying to hold on to something. Being set down, Yami ran over to him to see him holding onto a girls hand as she was dangling and being kept from falling to her possible death. "Hang on Seto!" He said as he laid over near them but not where it was cracking so much. He then reached over and grabbed the girl's wrist as well. "I have her!" The two them tried to pull her up and to safety. Seto though helped a good chunk of the way, he had to let go and Yami automatically compensated for using his other hand to pull her up. When she was pulled up far enough, he wrapped his arm around her to get a better pull and so she was up and safe from falling. Yami however knew how unstable the floor was and backed up more till he felt a more stable part of the floor before setting the girl down. Seto himself had already back up far enough.

"Are you alright?" Yami asked the girl as he looked over over before seeing a slash on her side. He cursed. Seto tore his long sleeve shirt and handed it to Yami. "Use this." The former pharaoh nodded and wrapped the sleeve around his side to try and stop the bleeding for now as well as cover up the wound. "There." After then Yami then went and pulled a card from his deck. "Mythical Beast Cerberus, I need your assistance." He called and so the large beast appeared once on the duel disk. "Seto. Go ahead and get on Cerberus and help me watch after this girl." Seto complied as Yami tried to help her on. "Here. We'll help you get out of here." He told her, calm still in his voice.

At first, Loki was a bit bad with dancing, yes he may have the footwork for but he had no idea of the dances from any other races. So he felt a bit silly. But he laughed and smiled as he tried dancing with Gus. As a little bit of time passed when dancing with the dwarf, he got better at it and was soon less clumsy. None the less he was having fun and that was all that mattered.

A time after Eric talked to Maleficent, Beith came up from behind and sat down next to the Huntsman with a cup in his hand. "Still fleecing yourself our bevy, Huntsman?" He asked curiously, taking his eyes off Loki to glancing to Eric.

Loki walked over to the camp site but not before looking for his mother to see where she was. He did look to see that the sun was setting, not realizing that the day had gone though very quickly. One of the eight dwarves lit a fire as they then brought out food that they had as well as drink. Gus handed some to Loki and then Maleficent. The area was peacefully quiet as they ate and drank.

Coll then looked to Duir as they sat together before leaning over. "Here, would you really have killed her?" He asked curiously. Duir then nodded. "Yeah, of course." Coll looks at Loki suspiciously as Loki gets up and walks towards Muir. "That seat's not taken, if that's what you were about to ask." He said, not looking in any particular direction. But Loki sits next to him anyway.

"I want to thank you." Loki said, looking at him and sounding thankful. "It's only a log. There's no need to thank me." Muir said with a chuckle. Loki though shook his head. "No, for before. For defending me." Muir held his hand up. "You're mother was a good woman. The kingdom prospered, our people prospered. Of course King Balder and Queen Silena also helped amazingly." Loki looked at him with confusion. "There were more of you?" Muir nodded. "Aye."

Gort spoke up. "Yeah. The men you see before you, were many many more, went deep into the caves. We were noble gold miners, because we could see the light in the darkness. Gus. Gus! You were just a boy, but you remember?" Gus nodded before Gort continued. "When we returned to the surface, there was nothing. The land was black and everything, everyone was gone. It was dead." He said sadly. "That was the month King Balder died. As did the Moors." Loki looked saddened with their stories. How everything went wrong for them. Became a struggle. "I'm very sorry." Loki said, knowing it may not help. Muir nodded though. "As am I, Loki. As am I." Muir then looked in the general direction the dwarves were. "Son, play a happy song." And so Quert did. Singing one of their happy songs to lighten the mood.

Loki was not aware of what would happen till it happened and being knocked over, he yelped as he was tumbled onto. Looking to see what happened, he saw that Eric was ontop of him as was blushing. He couldn't help but chuckle with him as for how silly it was. But he liked seeing someone smile. It brought joy to Loki and he could have it no other way no matter how cheeky and foreign it may be. When Eric got up, Loki sat up accepting his hand for help and his apology. When pulled up, he was still a bit light so he had been pulled up to then leaning against the Huntsman's chest and looking into Eric's hazel eyes. He had no idea how long the two of them had been like this but he was blushing and feeling his face warm up. He pulled away from the huntsman slowly and just smiled, unsure why himself.

During this whole ordeal, one of the Dwarves, Gort was seeing what was going on between Loki and the Huntsman with suspicion. Then he thought he would take the time to ruin the moment before clearing his voice, the camp basically done. "Camp is set." He said before walking off. Loki jumped a little when Gort spoke up and looked to him and the dwarves before looking to Eric. "Guess we should probably head over." Knowing that Maleficent was observant as ever, Loki was mentally ranting in his head.

Well Loki didn't noticed the look Eric had toward him, but the fae did give off mischievous presence around him. He stopped a few feet from the man as he whispered something Eric wouldn't understand. With what happened next, the butterflies that were on him had flown all around till they landed on Eric. He was hoping to help the Huntsman a little. The butterflies had then started walking on Eric a little, here and there. Loki smiled as he watched, hoping for a reaction. Then he noticed the humanoid looking faries that seemed to come up to him slyly while on a branch of a bush. He looked over to them curiously as he crouched, watching them conversating. He then laughed softly as he heard what they had said.

Loki sighed in relief as things had settled down and no harm came to any of the two. He had let go of Maleficent's wrist when she pulled the dagger from Eric's neck. The Dwarves seeing that the tension had stopped, then felt a bit awkward till one of them spoke up. "Well! Let us set camp. No doubt everyone has had a big day and rest will most likely be needed." Beith said as he had the rest of the dwarves head to their little camping site where they all had taken out their personal belongings and such. Loki turned to the Dwarves as they were setting up their camp and making it as homey to them as they could. He thought help out but a few of them seemed to look at him suspiciously so he felt them be till he got distracted my a tree that was covered in Butterflies. Cautiously walking to it, he slowly lifted his hand out toward them till his hand was close enough and fluttered away, some landing on him. He giggled when a few tickled his skin with their movements and kisses. He felt like a kid again who was always curious about the world he was growing up in. About the creatures he wanted to know his whole life. Turning to Eric slowly he motioned him over to him while those few butterflies were on his clothes or skin.

Loki lowered his head as she told him about Diaval. He felt sorrow for his companion. Then everything felt like deja vu all over as he saw his mother go after Eric. "Mother." He called to her but saw she was still approaching him and upset. He took charge and hastened toward them and gently took hold of her hand that held the dagger and gently pulled it away. "Mother. This isn't Thor. His Twin. He helped me escape the Queens brother and is helping me get to Vanaheim. To the former King Balder's father." He was calm, trying to help Eric from the wrong turned rage from him. "Please mother. He can prove he is not Thor." The fae looked to Eric in apology.

Of course Loki wasn't the only one who was now there when this confused commotion happened. The Dwarves even came to see what happened. They were confused to what happened since they came in when Loki was trying to get a dagger blade from Eric's neck.

Loki didn't take much into the consideration of the height, only that she was here, she was safe, and alive. He missed her motherly gestures, how she would hug him, talk to him, help him, teach him. He missed all of it. He broke up the long hug to look at her, examine her. "How did you escape the Moors? I thought they destroyed everything. Turned it all to ruin." He though noticed Eric's presence and had looked to the man near them. He didn't mind him there. He was use to his presence, something he might be apart of him for sometime.

Watching Maleficent turn to see him, Loki too had tears but only formed. Seeing her look of disbelief and seeing her examine him and place a hand on his cheek. He smiled and nodded when she said his name. Feeling the other hand on his other cheek, Loki saw how happy she was and knew how she was feeling right then and there. He then wrapped his arms around her frame and hugged her tightly but not too tightly. Just showing his emotions freely. "I've missed you so much!" He said as he hugged her. He never felt so happy within his life.

The Dwarves watched all of this as some turned away to let them have their reunion alone. They maybe desperate to make everything work for them when it comes to living and surviving, but they did have manners and this was one of those times.
