Yugioh: The King's Shadow

Yami stirred though had not gain conscious. Though seemed that he was dreaming. He started mumbling in what seemed to be Egyptian. His duel disk still on, Slifer looked closer to his master as a puff of air shot onto Yami's face, his tri-colored hair moved as Yami stirred again. The god then backed his head away. Duke though heard about he plan, worried for Yami as he then felt some rub against his shoulder. He saw a creature next to him and didnt know if to back away or just let the action continue till Serena introduce him to Khnum. "Oh...ummm. Hello. Nice to meet you too." He said to the god who was showing its affection toward him. Though slowly brought his hand up to touch it's forehead.

Slifer landed swiftly as did Ra, the dragon letting uncurled his claws that had been delicately around the former pharaoh who hadn't woken up. Duke slowly rose as he saw the gods land. He saw Yami and a young woman. He made his way toward them all and saw Yugi's "brother", Yami unconscious. "What happen to Yami? Is he alright?"

Riza heard the shuffling as she instantly went for some within the room. Though no surprise it was a chair, she held it at the ready till a small section of the vent fell and seeing something jump out. About to swing the chair like a bat, she saw it was Robin and lowered it till it was on it's legs. She felt some relief for Robin being here and finding her, but hearing about Wolf, worried her. However she also noticed the claw like cuts on his cheek. Before she could say anything, she heard the open and looked quickly to them to see Batman who seemed amused by their surprise. Though explained a little further into what happened. Though for what she knew of batman already, she nodded her head side to side a little. She looked back to Robin. "Your cheek." She moved over to see it a little better. "I am guessing this was an accident?" She asked. Though made sure it wasnt bad.

Conner looked to Artemis when she asked about how Conner knew. Superboy looked around though looked to her again. "I could see it in her eyes. Looking around quickly, looking at the blood on her claws and how they dilated. Her body language gave off. I can tell the sign from that of myself. I've seen red plenty of times to know the signs. Takes alot of will power to keep yourself from letting it take over."

Riza was still within the workshop but as she was still going through simulation after simulation of a modified Arc Reactor but was unsuccessful thus far. There was something missing and just couldn't figure it out. A component maybe? It had to be, but she couldn't figure it out. "Damn...what is missing?" Riza asked out loud to herself and growing a little frustrated. Maybe she could talk to Batman, see if he could help her figure this out. But she didn't know if he knew how to make energy sources. Later, Riza was working on her armor some more. Though working on the armor, Riza had suddenly stopped as the she heard the doors shut and lock. The light going just after as the lights turned off to only come back red and flashing. She looked around, her body tensed, slightly panicking. "Jarvis?! What's going on?" Riza asked, unsure to what was going on. "It seems there is some sort of Lock down ma'am. I do not any level of override to unlock any doors. I am stuck in this room as well it seems." Jarvis said calmly as ever. Riza cursed and swore as she went to the door. "Great! The one time I dont have my suit here in here!" Clear frustration in her. Riza then sat on one of the chairs. "Guess I'm waiting..."

Super boy, Meg'aan and Wally were too in the Commons where they had seen Wolf, as Artemis did. Superboy noticed the claws, the blood on the tips of which he looked to Wolf with surprise. Seeing her run off, Superboy noticed something else. Something he knew all too well. "Wolf!" Meg'aan called out only for her to try and go after her. Only for Superboy to stop her. "Don't follow her. It's way to dangerous right now. She's seeing red." Meg'aan looked to him with confusion. "Seeing red?" Conner nodded. "Its when all you want to do is see blood. Beat someone or even kill them just for fun. I know the feeling and what it looks like." Though after saying this, the three looked up and around as they lights went out, Doors shut and lock, and red lights turn on and flashing. "Someone set off the Lockdown alarm!" Wally concluded though seemed obvious.

Duke watched the Golden God fly above them and find away to the other side. Though looked to Yugi when he seemed to figure something out. Seeing Yugi run toward the shadow wall, Duke staggered to his feet. "Yugi! Wait!" He then saw a show wrap around Yugi and throw him away from it and slam against the wall. "Yugi!" Worry and panic was going through Duke's mind as he made his way toward the the tri-colored male with haste. He kneeled down next to him and brought him to his arms. "Hey, Yugi!...Crap..!"

Yami groaned when he fell to the ground but was of course still knocked out cold. A roar could be heard as well as a screech. The God Slifer came to Serena and the pharaoh's aide. Ra who had made it through the shadows, hearing Serena's call had come to light the way and make sure no harm came to Yami and Serena. Slifer, offering himself to get them out, a soft growl, his clawed hands together. Open for Serena to place the unconscious young man. Gesturing for Serena to get onto his back. Ra would then lead the way and keep them within the light.

Yami felt himself suspended, floating in darkness. His eyes closed. Voices...whispers... Opening his eyes, the haze of Crimson orbs appear, slowly searching, looking around. He then heard giggling. Wondering where it came from, Yami looked to the source of this giggling, laughter. Turning his head, he saw what looked to be the Palace, his home from long ago. A young Prince of which was him. And a little girl. Yami looked at them with a small smile. Yet. He didn't know why. Why he was smiling? Yami surely didnt know why. Yet he continued to watch. Watching himself play with the little girl. How happy they were. But the moment he blinked, was when the Palace was ablaze. Horror struck him now. He felt crushed, pain in his heart. Who was the girl? Why does he seem to remember this little girl now that he doesnt remember anything else? How come he hadn't known about this at all? Yami closed his eyes, looked away from the accident before him. Opening his eyes, he saw himself a bit older, when he started to become Pharaoh. A young woman about his age bowed before him. No words seemed to be said for it seemed that the Priests that stood by his side, seemed to test her. Only for him to hold up a hand, they stopped instantly. He walked up to the young woman and offered her his hand. Having taken it, seemed to say something that Yami could not make out. These images were hazey, but Yami could see what was going on. He just couldnt make out the young woman.

Duke looked worried. Though remembered a faint roar. "Wait. What was that roar?" He asked. "That didn't sound like Ra."

Duke was the full view of the golden god, its glow was just so brilliant.

Yami was looking back at the gateway, the bright golden light of Ra slowly fading. He didn't understand what was going on but Slifer was focused on the gateway. Looking back to where Ra was, Yami looked sad. Now unsure if the Sun God could get them out of the Shadows. "The shadows are getting thicker. I can hardly see Ra's light." Hearing suddenly Serena's voice, he looked behind him before he looked down and saw within that second of a shadow wrap around his leg. Slifer noticed this too but was too late to help its master for Yami fell to the ground as he fell on his back and being pulled quickly. The Skilled Dark Magician too tried to help, feeling panic. "Pharaoh!" Slifer roared as he charged his power to attack the gateway. The blast then shot at the Gateway.

Duke noticed the something off about the shadows. "Ra's light isnt getting through. The shadows are thickening. Can Ra still get through?"

Yami heard the hiss, helping Serena to her feet. Looking to the gate, wondering what the god was and yet he didn't want to know. He just wanted it to stay in the shadow realm where it belonged. Slifer growled at the hiss that he heard. The former Pharaoh looked up to the dragon god. Yami saw saw light that came through the dark clouds as he looked up to see a familiar god. "Yugi." He smiled as he looked toward the gate. He then drew a card from his deck. Though watched and waited.

Duke watched Yugi call out the egyptian god card that he remembered seeing in the Duels of the Battle City Tournament and was still in awe. Leaning against a building, Duke was just speechless. "Whooaa. A-Amazing!"

Riza shrugged. "Well I saw Logan in her at least. Though, for some reason it tears me up inside to see her so hurt, lost, and sad. I can't really understand why." She said, walking to the door. She then shrugged once more. "I'll be in the makeshift workshop." She then started her trek down the hall and back to the makeshift shop to go work on her armor.

Opening the door, Riza looked over to her armor and sighed. She went to the table where it was slowly coming together. She though smiled before getting into the wiring and piecing things together. With some pieces together she started of the energy source, a modded version of the Arc Reactor. "Alright Jarvis, lets see how we can make this work. Show me the specs of the Reactor, alter it without exploding." So Jarvis pulled up the specs. Looking at them, she then thought about running a simulation. See if some changes with the metals she had before he would work and not backfire. She looked around before she saw the computer. Thinking about it, she then got on. "Ma'am? What folder shall we put this one?" He asked. "My folder." "Of course." So Riza and Jarvis started going through the specs, what materials they had and what they didn't and what they could substitute.

Riza figured Dr. Strange would say something like that. Though understood this required patience now. Watching Wolf take out the needles in her arms thought giggled a little at her comment. "I probably would too." She said before Wolf left for her room. She then looked to Dr. Strange who spoke then. She though looked confused. "Our? I never knew her mother. I was actually surprised you mentioned her back there." She said as she stood up. "I'm going to go continue the armor. Though I guess since we might be here a while, could try and go back into making those robotic limbs I always worked on back home. Help those who need physical therapy. Help them heal."
