Yami knew what he said before about wanting to help by helping the people tht were being attacked by Duel Monsters and closing the gate but this Yami didnt if her gut feeling of a warning was a coincidence or the fact that he was doubting if they really should go out there knowing this. Yami honestly was feeling something too about this whole thing but he didnt know how to place it. He looked to his friends before looking out the window. He could see they were close but now he wondered just how bad it was out there. "See if we can get to a safe distance to look at what is going on. See just how dangerous this is." Marik looked a little confused as did Joey and Tristen. "What's going on man? Thought we were going to go shut this thing down? Not watch it." Tristen asked Yami who seemed weary and Seto looked at the former pharaoh suspiciously. "Think about this Tristen. We may see it as we do now but when we get there it may already be way to risky for us to go and shut that gate down. I honestly do not know how we will shut this gate down." Yami said of which surprised both Joey and Tristen. Seto's eyes narrowed a bit at Yami but seemed to be thinking. Yami looked to Yugi.

Yugi nodded, wipping his tears away before they could flow. Yami though spoke up again. "We know what to do now. We know his weakness and we can use that. We would have to work together and use blind faith. When we face him, we will be ready." Yugi gave another nod before looking to his friends. "Thank you, you guys. This means alot to me." Yugi smiled at them, a genuine smile on his lips. Yami seemed had lightened up, looking more happy and calm, happy to know that Yugi would be okay. Though this would be dangerous, but Yugi was being brave for his grandpa.

Yami noticed Serena seemed unsettled as Joey and the others looked out the window. She was quiet and there was something that just seemed off about her. "Serena? Something the matter?" he asked, of which Seto put his gaze to the woman.

Yugi was pulled out of his thoughts with Shadow's words, uncurling himself and loosening his hold on the Puzzle. He sat up and wipping the tears from his eyes and cheeks. He shook his head when she started to blame herself. "Its not your fault Shadow." his voice a little cracked from crying as much as he did. "We didnt know this would happen. "A small weak smile formed on his lips. This goes for you Spirit." Yugi could feel the saddened presence of the spirit within. He too appeared but on the other side of the bed, sitting on the edge leaned forward and his elbows resting on his thighs and with his head down. He lifted his head to look at Yugi. "We didnt know. This wasnt in our control. I-I realize that now. But we will need to find a way to get Grandpa back. There has to be a way." Yugi told both Spirits, though trying to be brave, was feeling the earlier events coming back and tears forming in his eyes.

Yami nodded, straightened himself a little as he sat there. He looked to Shadow before looking back to Yugi to see the young boy starting to tear up. "We would have to bind him by the laws of the Shadow games. To duel us and in exchange of use winning to release your grandfather's soul. Only he can do it."

Yami was not prepared for what happened next. Seeing the glowing eye and then the upcoming snowflake screeen with Solomon's appearing looking fearful and imprisoned, Yami felt upcoming tears for they he realized were not his. But being pulled back into the puzzle as Yugi came forth and scooted closer to the tv to see his Grandfather. "Grandpa! Grandpa!" he cried out to the TV. Joey, Tristen and Tea watched in confusion and sadness as to scene before them. Joey was first to react. Though confused as he got out, he reached to his friend as he gently grabbed his shoulder and gently tore Yugi from the TV of which he enveloped the poor kid into a big hug of which Yugi did not resist. Tea went and called the ambulance while Tristen rolled Yugi's Grandpa onto his back.

The rest of the nights unfolded where Yugi cried as Solomon was taken to the hospital with Tea and Tristen having gone to keep Yugi and Joey updated. This took a little while for Yugi to calm down and take it in as well as get the news that Solomon was in a coma. Joey had waited till Yugi would be okay with being at his own house by himself before relunctantly leaving once Yugi convinced him. Meanwhile Yami was feeling the same depression and sadness that Yugi was feeling. He had lost because he had stalled, that he was reckless and that he had allowed for someone to get hurt because of it all. Now his ward's only family was in the hospital and soul in Pegasus's hands.

Going into his room in the middle of night once by himself, Yugi closed the door, changed to his PJs and layed on his bed, curling up. He looked to the puzzle of which had spralled on the matress when he rolled on his side facing the room. He took hold of the anciant pendant and hugged it close to his chest.

Yami nodded, seeming to understand now though was unsure just odd it was that he needed to be reminded when his own memories of which he had thus far kept reminding hin everyday. Seto ignored that for he needed no reminded he he was and is today. Marik looked rather unsure but then he hadnt met the man. Yami look to Yugi and the others before looking to Serena with a hint of concern. "I doubt anyone needs any remindin' as to who anyone is. Its what you've been through throughout lifetand the people within it that makes you who you are, right?" Joey asked as he looked to Yugi and Yami. The older look alike nodded and smile. "Thats right." Seto scuffed silently and smirked as if agreeing but not admitting.

Yami nodded curtly to Adam and was relieved that they did so. Seto though seemed slightly unsettled by the fact that the two and the fuzzball in Yami's lap of which he still dispised to the end of his days were at the Industrial Illusions building. He looked to Yami who he'd know would answer. "Here's what makes no sense. Why were you at the Industrial Illusions building in the first place?" Seto asked. Yami looked to the CEO of Kaiba Corp, remembering the dustrust he still has for Pegasus. "I was lead there, without much more than a gut feeling that Pegasus would know what might be happening or give us some insight on anything that might help." Yami informed him. Joey looked confused by this and wondered what Pegasus had to say, knowing he would know anything on anything. "And? What he say?" Joey asked, feeling impatient. The former pharaoh shook his head. "Not much it seemed, only as much as we do. Advising Serena and I to get our memories back before we face Apep in anyway, even when closing a gate such as this." Seto gave a slight grunt at this and looking disappointed. "Should have known."

The former pharaoh nodded before letting her go though had wondered what that had meant. He went over toward the dos and got outside, Yami had not expected to see his friends in a van and here of all places. He though was relieved that they wre not harmed. "Yugi!" He called to his partner as they made it to the van, allowing Serena and Kuriboh in first and then getting in himself. He looked to all who were inside and was surprised. "I thought you would have been where that dark cloud was by now" He spoke honestly. "It is good to see you alright none the less. We are alright." He told them as he coaxed Kuriboh to rest on his lap so no one forced a large fuzzball creature upon them, especially Seto.

Yami's widened at the sudden turn of which had no made sense to him till he had thought about it as well and come to what the cause was. He had not expected his Dark Magician to be turned on him but as Shadow was explaining what had happened and what the card did that Pegasus did not explain. Wanting him to think about it himself. Though looking at the time, Yami knew he needed to act fast and so without further distraction, he draw a card and placed it on the monster zone to see Summoned Skull (ATK:2500, DEF:1200) and instantly went for the attack. "Summoned Skull! Attack Pegasus!" Yami commanded and did as it was told, summoning a ball of lightning and going to strike down the the CEO when everything vanished that was the Duel. Yami looked shocked and felt some disappointment that he did not take out the CEO fast enough.

Yami's smile brightened when she took his pinkie in hers and sealed the promise, though his smile fell when he noticed her figure changed and looked as if she may faint. "Serena?" he noticed the stop but was fo used on Serena that he helped her by having placed both hand on her shoulders to help keep her upright though used himself as support for her. "Serena, what happen?" he askex concern laced in his voice.
