The Rise of the Guardian

Carth watched as the red head came immediately to Ash's aide. He snapped out of the looming thoughts and did as he was told, from handing her the rag to laying her down on the floor. It would have been a better suggestion than the bed at the moment. But he grabbed couple pillows to prop her head. He then kept his hands to himself seeing as he body heat being a bit warmer would not help Ash in making sure her fever didnt get worse. Before he could say anything he looked to where the dead strangers body would have been.

Then it hit him. "Wait. You were there to tail him? Do you know Ash?" He asks, surprised by the realization and why this woman was at the bar when she was and how she acted.

Carth took a step back when the stranger burst into black flames and rolling around on the floor. He was quite unsure and weary of what just happened he quickly turned around when he heard Ash and went to her. He set down his sword and gently pulled Ash into his arms. He had to admit that while he could feel warm because of his Elemental ability, he was surprised how warm Ash felt alone as he cradled her. But he had no idea how to cure poisons. This made him panic and scared.

His head moved to look to the source of the knock and was surprised to see the red head from the bar. But then again no one else to turn to in order to save Ash's life. "Please. Please, can you help her? She's been poisoned and I don't know what to do!" Carth asked, almost pleading as his blue eyes searched her person for answers.

Carth watched the scene before him in shock. His body moved, automatic to respond to Ash's aide. As Ash went to kick the attacker, Carth went to grab him and shove him to the floor going for pointing his sword at the strangers throat, getting between Ash and her attacker. "Who are you and what do you want with Ash?!" Anger seeping into his words.

Carth had just dozed off when he heard the sound of something breaking. His eyes snapped open as his body moved into action. He grabbed his sword, forgoing his boots and shirt, since he had his pants on. If Carth recalled, the crash came next door which was.....

His thoughts stopped dead as he went straight for Ash's room having braced his body to burst through the door, locked or not. When into the room, he scanned the room before him. "ASH!"

Carth glanced to the red-head that looked to be turning in for the night. He looked to Ash then stood up and stretched. "Not a clue but I'm going to get some rest. You following suit?" He asks while stiffling a a yawn.

Respecting any answer Ash makes, Carthage would go on ahead and go to his room for the night. However this wasn't without setting up traps to help defend and alert him. Having them set at the window and door. Much not to harm but to disorient than anything. This was a habit he picked up when it came to inns and or even the wilderness sometimes. Soon, Carthage turned in for the night where Carth knew Ash's room was next door.

Silena could not believe what she was witnessing and first hand. She had never once seen her father as enraged at a singular person such a servant. She knew that a servant to know their place within the order of ranking when within the palace as all subjects should no matter where they hail from. But was this out of rage and concern or something else? Why only Loki?

For now Silena had no time to think on this at the moment but could after the care and safety of a queen, wife, and mother. She looked to the healers, trying not to get so close in fear of being in the way. "How is mother? Will she be alright? Was it curable?" She asks, hoping to have not bothered them with too many questions. She was worried for her mother after all.

Hey. Still alive. Been tired and restless from lack of sleep for a few weeks don't think my mentality is use to customerservice still. LOL!

Yami had looked to his friends while Shadow was trying to persuade the young Kaiba in helping them. "That must be it." He looked to back to the duel to see that Mokuba was standing as if frozen, like he didn't know understand what just happened but that this voice was speaking to him. That he shouldnt go through with his plan. To let Yugi help. He felt so confused and scared but that was when Yugi spoke up. His gaze piercing but friendly, kind. "Your big brother is just confused. After I defeated Kaiba in our duel, I opened his mind. I removed from him the Dark influences that clouded his thoughts and actions. Free of that evil essence. Kaiba is struggling. Now your brother realizes that his way isn't the right way, and that he's searching his heart for answers. And you know in your heart what you're doing isn't right either."

Mokuba looked to Yami, obviously scared but willing to confide in Yugi like the voice wanted his to do. "But then...what can I do?"

Yami smiled softly seeing that Shadow's help had worked. "You can start by trusting in me, and together we will defeat Pegasus. I promise you, we can only bring Pegasus down if we stick together.  We’ll help you protect your brother, Mokuba, but you’ve got to help us, okay?  You’ve got to go back and return those cards and star chips to the kid you stole them from."

Mokuba seemed to think this over before giving a nod to Yugi. "You’re right, Yugi. Then we’ll take on Pegasus together!" Mokuba and Yugi then got off the Duel Monsters arena and met back with Yugi's friends. Jaden looked to the two. "We got three minutes left till the boat leaves. We gotta hurry!"

The group then begin to run in the direction of the docks to give the star chips and deck to the kid whom of which Mokuba had stolen them from.

Yugioh: The King's Shadow

Yami hummed as he seemed to consider this idea of Yugi's idea, "This is plausible." He figured that if it someone, and what Yugi might be suggesting. He took a glance to Serena then and looked back to Yugi. Honestly he know there was a friendship there as far as he knew, but what would it take to be ones heart Yami wondered. He was pulled from his thoughts Duke called out asking if anyone know how to read Hieroglyphics. He went over to where Duke was to take a look and see what they may have to say.

Joey looked to Serena when she proposed to use her staff to hit it. He looked to the pentagram then the orb. "Wait. What if its booby trapped? What if  come from the ceiling and slower on us or if a big Boulder comes out of nowhere and tries to squish us? " Joey asks nervously, having watched alot of treasure movies. Kaiba shakes his head at the rediculous notions that Joey had thought up. "I doubt that."

Silena had backed away once the healers made it to their queen's side to help her. Looking to the scene between her father and Loki, Silena took notice of Loki's posture. This wasn't guilt. If it was guilt, Silena was more sure that there would be more than just stand there, she was sure that someone would beg and plead to be seen as something as guilt. This she saw a Loki before. Fear. Raw traumatizing fear. And her father was doing nothing but making it worse and making a scene beyond what it should possibly be. She went to her father to try and calm him down.

"Father, father wait!!" She tried to get infront of him, knowing that he would never try to harm her. "Please calm yourself father! Why are you after Loki? What has he done?" She asks him, hoping for answers.
