I'm waiting for Ghost Shadow.

Little-Bell Dreamfree

Location:Palace - Front Steps

When her Witch Mother’s face went as sour as old plum wine, Bell bit her tongue, but it was too late. Responsibility fell at her feet, like a bag of wet stones. She stared at her feet and nodded, tracing alternating circles with the tips of her toes. Conditional or not, Bell knew she should have known better than to ask too many questions and let herself get involved in all this too deeply. Now it seemed as though politics might mar what she had hoped would be a simple reunion with sister Valda, or as simple as these things could be. A hand unconsciously felt the small lump at the bottom of her bag as she thought of Valda.

"She isn't Queen yet."

“Oh good, then we’re not late.” She smiled too sweetly at the guard, honey and nectar made sickly. It was no small source of amusement how much people mistrusted them. Anyone would think the occasional harmless hex or CradleSnatching were grievous crimes.
Elodea

A small tin of something heavy thumped onto the work surface, bringing a brief tinkling from nearby bottles. Ellie dusted of her hands. Above, the sounds of combat were all too audible. Delilah had been unmistakable. But that seemed distant and far away; right now, Ellie’s focus was on her craft, her hands kept steady not just by the numbweed she sill chewed.

The slight elf went to work, transferring a purple-brown extract made from the leached ash of several species of seaweed into a larger brown-glass container for dilution, before setting it aside – a quick task. Ducking down, she retrieved a pestle and mortar of solid, trusty granite, requiring her to use two arms to lift, and even then, her muscles shook. Various herbs, roots and dried samples of kelp and other marine plant life flew from their containers into the mortar, elven hands moving deftly. They were ground up, their ratios and quantities somehow tracked by Ellie, even though many were near identical.

Whilst she worked, she hummed a simple tune, a favourite of her brother’s.

“I’m okay,” he mumbled, with a nod. It was too much; he was too exhausted to deal with people. Couldn’t they all just go away? What did they want from him? As soon as they realised he was a freak, he’d be alone, whether he wanted to be or not. That wouldn’t be so bad. Please make it so it wasn’t so bad.

No, he told himself, hanging his head. Hair draped around him like a thick mourning veil, hiding his scrunched-up face, like another letter he’d failed to write. Unmistakeable iron pangs filled his mouth after biting down on his tongue. Just try, please. He let out a long, steady breath. He looked up and brushed the hair from his face by running both hands through it.

“I don’t think he noticed,” he was completely deadpan, though the ghost of a smile suggested he might be trying to joke. Eye contact was uncomfortable, so he only kept it for a few moments. His gaze flitted to his upturned palms, now resting on his knees. “I, uhh… My name is Will. I heal things? I guess.” It was too tricky to explain in full. He licked his lips with a parched tongue.

“What about you?”

@Rebirth Is what you have in mind similar to what @Wolpertingers put forward, or are we going to have a much more even split of classes?

Thanks! Hope she gets accepted because I'm rather fond of her too. ^^
Small post to tie off the interaction, hope you don't mind.
Kean Jossun

The exchange between the Orc and Templar was over quick enough; Kean had watched silently, biting his upper lip to stem any further reaction whatsoever at the Templar’s insidiousness; he wanted to keep his head.

“Oh, I’m more than satisfied,” Kean said through a smirk, “You seem human enough for me.”

Then he looked to Zina, the other side of Adra, and then to Adra herself, and then back again.

“Do – ” he began, before trying to shake the amazement from his face, chuckling to himself, “never mind.”

He followed.
Let me know if any tweak or overhauls are necessary.
