Well it is a primarily defensive weapon. Tell me what you think, but I imagine Alan being able to catch weapons in his teeth, given a proper prediction. That was my main point with being able to eat dangerous objects without harm. And if someone is fighting me with their fists, well, Alan will likely carry a cleaver around or something to chew on, like the toothpick in his mouth. Plus he can take a chomp out of the floor, wall, door handle, planks, something in a room. I'd actually like to add if he attempts to eat sea stone or anything particularly nasty against devil fruit, he'll get indigestion in addition to a power drain.

Jenso looked over his shoulder and smirked as Ainra followed him. "Hey, it's fine! It's safe with me!" He responded, his feet schreeching to a halt as he was greeted by the lady. "Oh, you must be Godzilla!" Jenso shouted with a wide grin on his face. He frowned as she stared at Ainra with hatred. "Oh no, don't worry! This is Ainra, she's also part of the prophecy!" He shouted, and attempted to highfive Ainra. "And um, yeah...how does this map work?" He asked Gorgonzola, showing her the map.

As Abigail made the man trip, his head ended up slamming into the railing of the boat, knocking him out instantly. The man that missed Zypha with his bullet was cut down instantly by her scythes. The third man smirked as he managed to reload the cannon and took aim. But before he was able to fire, Zypha's thrown scythe pierced his neck. Blood gushed out as the man collapsed on the ground.

"There's only TWO of them! Incompetent fools!" The captain shouted, who succesfully regained his balance. There were now seven pirates remaining on deck, including the captain. "Just shoot them!" He barked, as the six other pirates grabbed their rifles. They began to shoot at Abigail and Zypha in a rather unorganized manner.

As Croma swung her sheathed blade at the pirate, the metal sheath slammed hard into his head. The man staggered back for a moment and collapsed into the ground, knocked out. The remaining four pirates stared in shock for a moment, as the man with the rifle took aim and fired a bullet at her chest. The man with the flint lock pistols began to aim at her as well, not having pulled the triggers yet. The men with the blades stood at the ready as well.

Yeah if I were to consume anything seastone-related or anything that weakened devil fruit users, my own power would be drained. As for the temporary power, I really thought that was a balance more than anything. He can always eat something else if his first power goes away, maybe after say, ten minutes? Does that sound fair?

Yeah, I figured the temporary part was to limit him and keep his power fair, that's fine.

But are you sure that one weapon at a time will be enough to effectively fight someone, in a room where he might not find anything else to eat?

Well, I guess that's still up to you. Just don't want ya to end up getting in trouble during boss fights or something, that's really what I mean. But yeah, ten minutes sounds good to me.

Personality: Alan is boisterous and friendly; Alan can often be heard across the inn slamming his mug against the table and laughing amongst a circle of strangers. Alan attempts to approach all things with a smile and a joke; even upon the brink of disaster, there is humor. Alan partakes in pleasure in all forms, and often will become sidetracked or distracted from objectives if something seems enjoyable to him. He can often be found talking to his pet Rooster, a hen that is standing on his shoulder at all times. Nobody knows why he calls her Rooster. He can take the ingredients of lasagna and make the best damn carrot cake you've ever had, end of story. Alan is known to dive into the cooking wine every now and then, especially on long trips across an empty ocean. He will also often be chewing on something to keep his jaw active, often in the form of toothpick.

The Nom-Nom Fruit is a Paramecia type Devil Fruit that allows the user to consume larger-than-normal and/or dangerous objects without harm, making the user a Buffet Human. The user may "absorb" the properties of the objects consumed and use them as his or her own weapon. To accompany this, the user has a gigantic set of teeth, a large jaw, and is able to open their mouth wider than normal upon intention to eat something. Their features are only temporarily modified in doing this, and revert back upon will. Hardened enamel, a nulling cover over the tissue of the mouth and fruit, and a fortuitous stomach allow for the break down and digestion of strange objects that may be consumed.

Sounds like an interesting devil fruit yo.

There should be a few exceptions though. He should be unable to eat anything Sea Prism related, since the material counters a devil fruit user's power.

And could you specify how long these temporary powers are? I mean, uh...

Ya don't want to end up running out of ways of attack if the transformations run out during intense battles.

Those are really my only concerns right now, I might think up more later.

But on it's own, it's a really unique devil fruit and I like the whole idea of it. Tex is also gonna review your sheet, and may have some concerns of his own.

If you can adress both our points and have the approval of both of us, you should be good to go.

Oh, a few things I forgot to mention:

Zypha is the captain of the crew, so yall will be following her orders.

And we need a new doctor for the crew since the old one left the RP. If anyone would be willing to be Doctor, that would be appreciated.

Technically we need a navigator too, but Abigail has the Log pose right now. She can be Navigator too if she wants.

Basicly, Zypha is Captain and Shipwright.

And Abigail is Cook and...the current stand-in for Navigator, too. I think.

Also guys, basicly there's stairs leading from above deck to below to a somewhat regular sized room. At the end of the room, you can head into the thin hallway with the celldoor on the right of it. But right now the one pirate is in the way between the cell door and the room, standing in the hall way.

As Zypha spun the wheel and turned the ship to face the enemy ship, two of the cannonballs completely missed as they crashed into the water beside it. The middle cannonball struck it's target however and exploded, leaving a deep crack in the front side of the ship. Fortunately there was no gaping hole, but it wasn't in very good shape. Before the enemy pirates could do anything else, the Lotus ship rammed into their ship with full force. Most of the pirates, including the captain, lost their balance and fell over. The three cannoneers managed to remain standing due to holding onto the cannons. "Oi, get yer ass offa me!" A pirate shouted. "What are ya dolts waiting for?! Kill em already!" The captain barked as he slowly began to get back onto his feet.

The first cannoneer on the left unsheathed his blade, and leaped onto the Lotus ship's deck, slashing diagonally at Abigail's chest. The second one hopped onto the deck as well, and pulled out a flintlock pistol, quickly firing it at Zypha. The third cannoneer began to reload his cannon, readying another cannonball.

"OI! The prisoners are escaping!" One of the pirates barked, as Chroma broke the door open. The closest pirate charged at her immediately, and grabbed his broadaxe. He swung it downward at her head.

The other four pirates readied their weapons in the meantime. Two of them grabbed their blades while a third aimed his rifle. The fourth one pulled out two flintlock pistols and took aim as well. They could not interfere yet as the hallway was rather thin, and the first pirate was blocking their vision. Right after this, a massive shockwave went through the ship as the Lotus ship rammed into it, knocking everyone off-balance for a moment.

For all intents and purposes to avoid conflict Kichi (Croma's sword) will never be drawn (Unless really strong enemy appears) i think its just better that way XD

Also, careful about deciding some things. Like, you had the door open, but it could have been that I intended for Croma's lockpicking to fail, and for the others to save you first.

But yeah, you opening the door is fine in this case.. So you don't need to change it.

But be careful with deciding things like that in the future. If ya know what I mean.
