A Hero Tale {Complete}

Jenso turned to Nexus and smiled. "Well, I've been taking my time to train my techniques and I've never had much time to do so...I've learned not to rush things like you advised me too!" Jenso said. He hopped from hill to hill, landing in front of his teacher. "I'm not sure if I'm doing well or not...but I feel a lot more confident in myself now. I feel like I can beat anyone!"

Jenso was out in the transparent fields, training his abilities. "Flame whip!!" Jenso shouted, launching a whip at a nearby rock from the palm of his right hand. Of course, the whip was actually made of Ki rather then flames within the void, but it didn't matter too much to Jenso. The end of the whip wrapped around it's target. He yanked the whip once, and the whip began to pull the rock towards him at great speed. Jenso rose his left, free hand and smashed it into pieces right when it was in front of him.

After doing so, he threw the whip at another rock as it's end wrapped around it yet again. He yanked the whip twice, and this time the whip pulled Jenso towards the rock instead. Jenso spun around and used his feet as support to land on the rock to avoid crashing into it. After doing so, he wrapped the entire whip around the rock. He released the whip, and it suddenly began to squeeze tighter and tighter around the rock, eventually crushing it onto pieces as the whip faded away.

'Alright, I've mastered how to use this technique now..' Jenso thought. He stomped his feet once, and a burst of flames erupted from below his feet, launching him into the air. He landed on one of the hills. 'I'm not sure if this is what Nexus wanted me to do, but...I sure managed to master my techniques now. It's certainly been a good experience..'

Jenso nodded respectfully to Nexus. "I understand." Jenso said in a calm tone. "You are my teacher after all, and I'll listen. I won't rush and take my time." Jenso said.

Jenso sighed as Nexus spoke. "Maybe I do have to have more faith in my strength...after all, I've been relying on it for so long to survive." Jenso spoke as he calmed down, thinking back about all the times he was in trouble but managed to survive through willpower and strength. "You're right. Losing isn't the end, right?" Jenso said with a smirk, referring to the specific line that Lark taught him. He'd gotten over the fact that he'd been beaten now. "I'll do my best to train my mind, Nexus..I have enough strength right now." Jenso said.

"HOLY SHIT!!" Jenso shrieked, staggering back a bit. He didn't expect that someone who seemed so calm like Nexus, would raise his voice like that. "Wow uh...sorry.." Jenso muttered. "You mean that I need to have faith in what I can already do? But...both Prisma and Rajaka nearly killed me, and Yzeira did! That just means I'm lacking in strength, right?!" Jenso said to Nexus. "I don't mean to argue with you, but...it just seems un logical to be confident without the strength to back it up."

Jenso blinked as Nexus tapped his head. He smirked at him. "You're right...If the enemy is too strong, all I have to do is get stronger, right?" Jenso said casually, with confidence in his eyes. "I do feel that I've gotten a lot stronger since I began this journey...I just have to keep going!" Jenso stated. "I can do it! I'll beat the order no matter what! For everyone, and for myself!"

Jenso gave Nexus a sad look. "But Lark is far stronger and smarter then me...how can I be stronger? If anything, he'd be the best person to fight the Order, not me!" Jenso retorted to Nexus. "I guess I did help people with my powers, but.."

Jenso frowned as he looked at Nexus's display with the rubber balls. "Yeah...they all count on me.." Jenso muttered, clenching his fists. "I guess I'm more important in that way, since without me, everyone might die.." Jenso said to Nexus. Nexus's words made more sense to him now, and he explained it in a less selfish way.

"You're asking me to forget about my friends and only think about myself?" Jenso asked Nexus, and frowned. "I'm not that kind of person...how am I supposed to tell myself that the others matter less then me?"

Jenso clenched his fists for a moment. 'Wait for me, guys...please be safe.' Jenso thought, thinking about all of his closest friends. He hoped none of them would die while he was...gone. He took a deep sigh and examined the gazebo while relaxing himself as much as he could. He turned to Nexus. "So uh...what do I do? Just meditate?"
