@KatherinWinter I edited the miasma power, just to make himself immune to the effects of the gas and other gases (i.e chlorine gas) if that's ok.

"Kinda frightening, right? But let's not jump too soon. After all, they won't be able to force us be heroes. If we just learn, maybe we can afterwards just go and live silently our normal fucked up lives."
Collin laughed at Evangeline, helping him calm down a bit. "Normal fucked up lives? Sounds good." He imagined a life that involved his singular, weird power. The best he could do with it was probably reach into small places, but that's it.
" You can leave but you can not hide. You will be found eventually."
"Well there goes that idea." Collin said, slumping in his chair. "I doubt this hand will do anything helpful."

"Wait, did she say defend the world from people who use their powers for evil?" Collin whispered to Evangeline. "Does that mean there are other super power people out there?"
Collin was slightly worried. His phasy hand wouldn't stand a chance against anyone here, let alone another group of super powered people. I would be toast out on the field... Collin gulped, contemplating whether or not to bolt out of her the first chance he got.

"So is this just... A sanctuary for us then?" Collin asked, still confused. "We just learn to control our powers, and then what? Live here the rest of our lives?"

"Protect us?" Collin murmured looking down. "From what? Is something trying to take our tattoos or something? Is there some evil force out there?" Collin was curious, but didn't feel like calling his questions out. He would let the man finish before he said anything else.

Collin waved at the newcomer. It was nice to see another guy who didn't give the first impression edgy and brooding.
"Heya bud, welcome to... uh... Wherever this is."

Collin turned to Evangeline and began to use his newfound power to phase his hand through his leg.
"So Elsa, you think they gathered us all here to fight wars or something?" He asked. "Most of our powers could definitely be used for that. Me, not so much, but it seems everyone else somehow assist in combat."
