Section #1: Jig Being Right

It has come to my attention, that I am primarily right and drunk.

Jig is completely right.

Jig is right.

[11.01.50] Gowi:

Jig is right. Feel free to send that along.

[Jig is] 100% correct.

Jig was right 8 months ago, and is still right.

I love you, Jig. It's because you're Always Right™.

Once again, Jig is absolutely right about this.

Where is Jig when I need to vent about politics?
Drunk.

The mighty Jig is of course right.

Jig, I do have a question. I'm planing on posting with Lailaa first. Love and I picked that she started off in The Red and is now working at The Burlesque, so I have questions about what they wear and where they are kept and such. A better way of putting it is, is there a a uniform? And she would be there mainly for the back rooms, so would she stay in the back rooms and wait for someone to be sent in?Also I'm going to send you a PM with something dealing with the plot.

So sorry, I completely missed this. Not quite sure how I managed that.

Feel free to make it up as you go along. The only thing that's been stated in the IC is that the 'back rooms' are actually 'guest rooms' upstairs.

Aww...me no can see. :'(

The English title is Crimes of Passion so if you're so inclined, you could theoretically have a shufty for it on one of those super-legal torrent-sites. To be honest, it was a bit dry with surprisingly little eyecandy for a murder mystery. The main reason I watched it was because I happen to be taking Swedish classes this year in addition to Icelandic and buggering my friend to teach me Polish (and studying Dutch and German as my degree and practising the French I already speak). I'm either going to become some super-amazing polyglot or speak one huge mishmash of everything that nobody can understand.

What stuff do you do?
Funnily enough, a Swedish Murder Mystery has turned up on the BBCiPlayer. Not sure if non-UK people will be able to watch it though.

Hope you had fun :)

Gm's should be willing to compromise as long as it doesn't go to far. Sometimes people have really outreaching ideas which are just plain not fit for a roleplay. However that being said somethings can be allowed as long as it is within the realm of what the GM originally imagined. So as a GM you should be opened minded but not to opened minded as to destroy your own roleplay. You may as well save yourself the effort of making a roleplay if one character is going to ruin it just because one person wants to be that special little different snow flake. You should also be willing to give what you get. If everyone else is going to make a certain length CS I believe it is only fair that you should as well unless circumstances are otherwise involved.

If this is aimed at my bit of content on the previous page, all of what you wrote falls under opinion. While I take it there will be space in the guide for opinions, interpretations and theories, what I was writing was a factual guide for how things work on the Guild. It's true that a GM probably will have a better reception if they're just-exactly-the-right-amount open-minded, but it's not a fundamental working of the system and so isn't relevant at this stage.

It looks good. I think you should put the Beta Stage on the site, so- oh whoops you already mentiomed that. Yeah, copying and pasting it would work. You wouldn't be in such demand to continuously edit the one post. They can do it themselves.

I kinda feel like it's a bit clunky and unwieldy and dependent on feedback as to whether its appropriate and what its role is in relation to other submissions, and I'd rather sort that stuff out before submitting it. I was under the impression that anybody could edit it once submitted, but there's still a bit of dissection and stuff to be done yet.
Proposed chapter two content. This is very much in Beta stage, and I've highlighted my post with asterisks for words that will probably need definitions for consistency and I've put notes between each sections on my reasoning. This is designed to explain how RPing works on this forum in particular, and so doesn't really go into the wider details of RPing itself.

And here it is un-annotated.

Any suggestions or anything are great, but if this is the right sort of thing, it might be easier to C&P it and make your own edits rather than try to explain them and hope I get it right. I've only got a small brain.
Has somebody already signed me up?! My name is already taken, apparently.

It also wouldn't let me create an account called Professor Jiggington von Rumpelwald because it was too long. Oh, the trauma.
Sooooo, what happens now?
