Just outside the hall
As they walked the two new girls had introduced themselves. Cloe an English girl with not much to say around a lot of people, and Carmen a latina from the NYC hood. 'I have to keep an eye on her i think...' he thought to himself. He looked around noticing people flooding the hall, all trying to get in at the same time, squishing each other when entering the double doors. The group hanged back a bit and waited until the crowd died down. During that time a kid dressed all in black with a few maroon things, was shoved into David, causing his camera to fall. Jack swore time slowed down as he watched sheer horror appear on Davids face as the camera fell, luckily the kid caught the camera. He quickly apologised stating he wanted no trouble but Jack could notice the rage building in Davids face, he grabbed him by the shoulders.
"David, let me handle this ok?" he said his face stern, David could tell he was being serious and backed down. Jack turned to find Carmen holding onto him asking Riley if he was with us.
"No he isn't, but it's alright." Jack interrupted walking over to where the new kid was a small smile on his face.
"Hey there, my name's Jack, i'm with the student council and i haven't seen you here before, your new right? If you need anything don't be afraid to ask." he held out his hand in greeting, holding his small smile.
