I'm a long, long time RPG'er (since the early 90s...) who has been playing exclusively online for the last 20 years or so. I'm an orphan of some long-run games (for ex USI for those who knew it). Having grown increasingly frustrated with the sites I've been playing on, I'm hoping to find and run some good games around here. Systems and themes wise, I'm a fan of the BRP / RQ / CoC family of systems, but for online gaming tend to prefer lightweight (The Window) or entirely freeform games. Big fan of Lovecraftian horror, gritty fantasy (Black Company) or historical'ish fantasy like Gavriel Kay books. I'm also a big fan of stories like the Night Soldiers cycle of stories by Alan Furst.
