okay, watched the first episode of goblin slayer, not nearly as bad as what it was made out to be. Still a bit depressing but hey, saved 2 of 4 rookies, coulda been worse.

So i figured out, as much as id love the equivalent of an anime doom guy slaying goblins, i dont like seeing the lovely anime chicas catch a case of the mutilation.

You may wonder, "Oh no! I've been caught! Whatever shall I do! What will become of me!" Well... I can assure you nothing....as in really...nothing. Just before the large sphere came close to William, Garsin squared off with the giant sphere and braced against it, halting its progression. "Hurry, move!" he grunted under the monster's force. The veins in his muscles started to appear as he put more strength into changing the monster's direction away from the others, he then pushed off of it and rolled to the side, hoping the sudden lack of opposing force would send the rolling monstrosity reeling a ways from the group. "Alright lets get this done," he said while regaining his breath. The otherworldly cello floated from his back and he thumbed a string which summoned the bow. Instead of playing it himself, it floated in the air next to him as he took up a fighting stance, waiting to react to the monsters before him.
hah, actually, they are 30mm grenade launchers, but I could only imagine that there is a multitude of various types of rounds that can be put in there. as for the type of sword I'm changing it to this one. Still had that nice slice and dice ability, weighted, but also not so much that it prohibits stabbing. should be a nice mix:

Got it, I'll get some ideas in sortly, already have an idea, but I want to look at something for the gun.
Anyone debating on taking partial control on this till tek comes back? I could try to make a real training session and devise weapons for the ones that don't have one (I could take suggestions if you have something in mind). Don't worry, I'd make it fun.
anyone else debating skipping this and doing someone else's arc until tek decides to come back?
that, or, if someone also knows the show pretty well (I vaguely do), they could try to continue it in his place.
