That feel when you apply for jobs and realize you changed your phone number from what's on your resume

My current mood: What do you mean I speak French fluently? Verb tenses? I don't need to say the right actual words do I?

Fenn and Kyalia followed Jameson and Fenn could feel the fury radiating off Kyalia.
"Kyalia..." Fenn started but Kyalia just scoffed at her.
"Don't apologize Fenn. You just eliminated my one chance of seeing home again because of your temper and your inability to keep your mouth shut." Kyalia said, shaking her head. She was actually devastated about that, she loved her home more than anything in the world, and although she was exiled from it she longed to return to it every single day. And now it might be destroyed without her ever seeing her family or her friends ever again because of her decision to befriend a witch. She was beginning to see why they didn't usually get along.
"So do me a favor right now, and at least try to keep your mouth closed. I cannot deal with any of the crap that comes out of your throat right now." Kyalia hissed and Fenn nodded, hanging her head. Fenn knew she ruined it for Kyalia and regretted it now, more than anything really. She knew how much she missed her home and she knew that it might be her fault that Kyalia will never see her home again so Fenn did shut up, walking across the sewer from Kyalia.

Kat got down as he talked and looked at her watch as the schedule came up...first hour is free(so why the hell is she up right now, she doesn't know) but next she's in gym, or rather teaching it to a the freshies. Which today will basically just mean her getting to know them because she doesn't trust any of them in suits right now...they'd probably end up blowing up the school. She knew she almost did when she started out.

"Dinner, tonight. All the second years, spread the word. I will message you the details." She told him as he was walking away. She looked around at all the people and decided she was feeling a bit claustrophobic so she made her way through the crowds and up to her room...where her suit had been delivered. She squealed as she ran over to it and ran her fingers around it.

"Unmute." She said as she went and sat on the bed, looking at the suit. She bit her lip and then stood up and held her arms out and her suit, like all marks past like mark 20, flew towards her body and she suited up. She waited a second as it powered up and she got used to the controls again, making sure that everything was functioning correctly, which it was.

"Alexandra, send Pepper a message saying Thank you for not destroying my suit." Katerina said before she took the suit off again. Pepper hadn't used this suit since Katerina had gotten it but before it used to be a favorite of hers. It was a bit of an inside joke between the two since this was actually the third version of the suit...Pepper liked to destroy things apparently, and Katerina found it quite hilarious.

Katerina decided to go take a walk around campus, see who else she could find and then maybe sit in on Todd's classes...he was probably her closest friend here, as he wasn't all that abashed to talk to the weird gypsy girl who couldn't sit still for one second and didn't like people all that much. Obviously that had changed but she was still grateful for his friendship, otherwise she might not be here today. She smiled slightly as she went down to the cafe to get a smoothie, feeling a bit thirsty and she absolutely loved their food there, it was a small wonder why she didn't gain 30 pounds while staying at the school.
No it's okay...so is Fenn. That was a lot of fun to write actually
"And who are you, Demon Spawn, to judge me? To condemn me for who I am? Because you are no better than me, false son of Michael." Fenn spat, not backing down. He didn't scare her, not as much as he thought he could. Not much scared her anymore, and this child most definitely did not.
"You only know of your own cruelty but you don't know what exists in the rest of the world. You don't know what exists in the soul of the blackest of the black who were allowed to walk this world when it separated. Your mother may have been Black but she was not Dark, and yes stupid child, there is a difference. You only know what is told to you...but not what actually is. You can't trust the words of other people, boy, only their actions. And trust takes time...it is not instant, like you so want it to be. It is days, weeks, months, even years of reliability that the person who you so desperately want to trust actually deserves that. Because we aren't like your father, we can't see into the hearts of others. And so we came up with other ways, and you have to put up with that because if you can't then go home boy. You are obviously still too young to be away from your mother's bosom." Fenn growled, fire arching up her fingertips but she quickly put it out. She stepped back, his ignorance angering her. She could feel something primal wake up in her, something she hasn't felt since she was a child. Something that a White Witch condemns and leaves to rot in the darkest part of their minds. She could feel the Darkness creeping up and she shook her head, pushing it back down.
Kyalia turned to her sister, a smile on her face. While she didn't want her sister to have the throne, she still loved her very much. She missed her family since she ascended to the throne and decided that she would spend more time with her sister once she was returned from her trek to the Round Table. Kyalia embraced her sister after the formal greeting. This was her sister, someone who was family and Kyalia felt should always be such. Formalities are things for visiting nobles of this kingdom and the others, but this was her sister, not a stiff noble.

"Adeline." She smiled, her smile had been genuine since she knocked on her sisters door but became a little less genuine when her own sister addressed her by her title but she pulled back and was still honestly happy to see her. Her little sister had grown up some since she last saw her and that brought Kyalia's smile back full force.

"I am still your sister Adeline, even if I am now a Queen. I am still Kyalia and you are still Adeline, no need for titles." She insisted, as she led them into Adeline's room so as this conversation was not overheard by the ears that seem to occupy even the emptiest of halls in the castle. Kyalia closed the door and turned to her sister.

"How have you been? Have you been keeping up on your studies? Are you still reading good books, or have you read through the entire library already? Any nobles or knights catching your eyes?" Kyalia asked her, a teasing grin in place on her face. She desperately missed this kind of contact, one that doesn't rely on you saying the right words at the right time, lest all Hell break loose. She hugged her sister once more, feeling the full force of how much she actually missed her family.
“White Witches are frank, and truthful. We don't lie or charm people because that's manipulation and the number one rule of witchcraft is we don't manipulate people. Ever...whether it be with our magic or with out words. So you may not like me but I won't ever deceive you. I also don't do dark magic, ever, or hurt people unless it's to protect myself or people who are innocent, or do not deserve whatever is about to be inflicted on them.” Fenn said flatly, her usual sarcasm not present at the moment.

“But don't you dare assume that all witches are the same. If you don't want me to assume that all members of the Church are the same or that all Elves are the same than I demand the same in return. I don't cooperate with hypocrites. It's that pesky moral compass again.” Fenn said, a little bit of her sarcasm returning to her. Kyalia looked at her nervously but Fenn seemed to be returning to normal, or at least what is normal for her. She didn't like talking about the distinctions much, since they tend to get so blurred but she wasn't just going to sit back and take that,

“I don't trust anybody, very easily at least. But obviously I am here to help. Lithium wasn't my home...I came because I heard you might need some extra help in the days to come, so I came. You either take my help as I am, or not at all. I'm not an easy person to get along with, I know that, but I won't lie to you, I won't manipulate you to get what I want, I will give whatever help I can and it will come with sarcasm and a bad attitude ninety percent of the time. If that bothers you I can leave right now.” Fenn said, looking at the group and Kyalia stood behind Fenn, literally and figuratively.
"Okay first of all, I resent that. You act like I'm some kind of savage, I know how to act in company. I just don't do it if I don't have to. Second of all, obviously I don't hate the elves. I mean, my best friend is an elf for God and Goddess's sake. Third of all, I am not wearing that, I have my own religion and I am not going to pretend to be something I am not." Fenn said, handing the necklace back to him.
"Fenn," Kyalia started but Fenn cut her off.
"No Kyalia...I am not going to disrespect my religion by hiding it and pretending to be part of the Church. Why do you think so many witches burn? We'd rather die than give up our religion and if you disagree with that, that's fine but nothing you can say to change that. If the elves want to let me in, then they can do that without the protection of the Church. I will be polite but I will not take the backing of the Church...I hope you understand. This isn't me trying to be rude or prideful, this is me standing my ground for my religion." Fenn said and Kyalia sighed, but she understood. Plus, this was probably the nicest Fenn has been since Kyalia met her.
