The Zodiacs

"What do you think would have happened if I hadn't? If you had let them loose on the world without knowing their working dynamic?" Gwen asked him, with a raised eyebrow.
"If you dock my pay for trying to figure out a way for this group to work together, then I will leave and there is nothing you can do to stop me Alpha. I left my world back in Wales because I thought this was a worth my time, but the second I find that it's not, I'm leaving and I'm taking Cowyn with me." Gwen said, venom in her voice.
"You throw them out into the world like this, and they're useless to you. They'll end up dead, and more then likely take innocent lives with them. They are untrained and unfocused. They have no idea what the fuck their doing, so in the interest of saving the world and all, fix them before you try and use them." Gwen said, shaking her head.

"He's crazy if he thinks we're going to pay for it. It's his own goddamn fault." Gwen muttered, going to the library to find Alpha. She stormed into the library, looking for him.
"Why the hell should we pay for it when your the one who decided we were going on a mission today? If I hadn't gotten them together last night, this meltdown would have happened out there, where human lives could be lost? They can't be thrown into a mission yet. They can barely sit in the same room with each other without trying to kill each other, and not even that as witnessed by last night. How about you let them get to know each other first, before throwing other responsibilities at them." Gwen said, as she looked for him.

"I think you're the first person to laugh at the fact that the Gemini symbol is the Twins, and we're twins. Yes, we're both Gemini. He's Cowyn by the way, and he probably won't speak coherently until about nine o'clock." Gwen said with a smile, as Cowyn flopped forwards.

Gwen had already been awake by the time Alpha called for breakfast. She had found the gym and run about a mile, before going and taking a shower. She had just finished drying her hair when they were summoned so she slipped some pants and a shirt on, following the signs to where the break room was.

Cowyn on the other hand, didn't wake up for a good five minutes until after the initial call was placed. He dragged himself out of bed and to his clothes, putting on the first outfit that resembled something normal before dragging himself to the break room, plopping down next to his sister.

"It's not your fault. I've found that our...abilities are fueled my our emotions. You'll learn to control them, and this place will get better. I'll see you tomorrow. Goodnight Jimmy." Cowyn said, tucking her in a bit before going to his room, where Gwen was camped out.
"What if this doesn't work?" Gwen asked him, as he laid down next to her.
"It's going to work. They just have to get used to each other. We all do." Cowyn assured her, as they fell asleep.

Gwen went over and grabbed Emily's wrist, squeezing the pressure point until she had to let go. She pushed her away from Jimmy.
"Jimmy got out of control, that does not give you the right to hurt her. Do you understand me?" Gwen said, her voice low.

Cowyn brought Jimmy to her room, setting her on her side as he went to get a bucket or something from the bathroom and a wet towel to clean her up a bit.

Camp Half-Blood

"For Gods' sakes." Gwen muttered before they went flying. She dropped her bag and went into the lake feet first, trying to adjust so she didn't go too far down. She popped back up to the surface, cringing. The lake, while she basically grew up in it, was not a very good friend to her. Perhaps Posiden had beef with her mom, she would never know. But ever since she had come to camp, she hadn't had the best experiences with the lake. She nevertheless started swimming to the nearest shore, not all that fast but fast enough to get there relatively quickly.
"Stupid Mr. D. And they call my mother random." Gwen sighed, as she started walking to the approximate position where she left her dagger.

"Emily let go of Jimmy." Gwen sighed. She felt like she was herding cats.
"Cowyn, grab Jimmy and bring her to her room please." Gwen asked her brother, who extracted her from Emily's grip and took her to her room, while Gwen turned on Emily.
"Why were you dragging her body Emily?" Gwen asked.

Gwen nearly ran over the new guy, only stopping because Cowyn grabbed her arm. It gave her ample time to reply though, turning once more and glaring at Levi.
"Because you provoked her! Because you can't get it through your thick head that you're words have consequences. I have never seen anybody with more disregard for their own consequences then the people here and I'm Welsh, who has family from Scotland!" Gwen yelled.
"You're going to get yourselves killed." Gwen said, before turning to the new guy.
"I'm Gwen, Gemini. Who are you?" Gwen asked with a smile.

Gwen stepped in front of her, pushing the two apart and bracing herself for a hit.
"Then stop beating this shit out of someone you might have to trust your life to later! I get that you had a bad life, we all did. That's why we're here. That doesn't mean you get to take it out on people around you. Either of you. We've all had shit lives, So you need to get over yourselves and get a hold of yourselves because otherwise, you're going to end up dead or in some reject bin, as I'm assuming where the rest of Alpha's team ended up. That applies to everyone here. If we don't get our act together, we're going to be labeled useless. We don't have rights here, we don't have a voice. We're experiments, and we're at the whim of whoever created us. So get your acts together and maybe, maybe, we'll survive for longer than a month." Gwen snapped, not using an ounce of charm but pure venom. She turned on her heel and walked out of the library, Cowyn on her heels.
