It's all good, I should have checked, I got the chance to read through them so I have the beginnings of a reply in mind.
I didn't know this was still one. I'm at work right now but when I get home I'll take a look at what's going on.

Bio: Essie is, at heart, a street rat. Born to a single mother, she spent her time traversing the borough of Poplar, terrorizing the neighborhood as a ten year old with sticky fingers and a penchant for sweet things tends to do. It all fell down around her when her mother died at the age of 15 and her father decided to become an active part of her life. He owned a line of hotels from Canada to India, putting him in the one percent of the one percent, somewhere Essie had absolutely no place being. However she just changed her game. Instead of conning for a few bucks, she made bigger cons. Starting in boarding school and then onto college her silver tongue got her a lot of things, but occasionally it got her into a bit of trouble, something her newfound father had no trouble getting her out of.
Personality: Essie has a silver tongue and an eye for the expensive, whether monetary or otherwise. She likes to have the upper hand in the situation, whatever the situation may be. She's can be a huge flirt but she can also be the sullen girl who never talks. Depends on the situation.
Spirit: The Cheshire Cat
Abilities: Cat-like reflexes, invisibility, and air walking.

As I called on the OOC I would like to play the Chesire cat. I am currently out on errands but I should have a CS up soon
I like both ideas but I think the first one is a little more interesting to me at least. Either way the Chesire cat is my favorite characters in Alice.
Depending on the type of metal...Aaron and I determined that man-made metals do not, but I think the jury is still out on the natural metals. I personally can see how they would but at the same time, I feel like it could fall in it's own realm since you don't control crystals. We'll have @Mirrodin be the deciding vote there.

Talay-a bowed her head in modesty when he named her. Opportunity was something that she strived for, because she would never be the strongest in the room but if she could be the smartest, it would be just as well.
Gideon mentioned the water and she noticed it still along the ground at their feet. She slowly gathered it up, before depositing it in the pool as she pondered his question.
"For you, maybe. I would suppose so since it feels nice but for me it's as necessary as air. I can inhale air, that's true but my body isn't as adept at yours at filtering out certain toxins. I could survive a year, maybe two, without water. My gills however, they don't take in the toxins, and something about the process detoxes my body. It's more than just refreshing, it's electrifying." Talay-a tried to explain, as she pulled her hair back and tilted her head to the side to display her gills. There were four down each side of her neck from the top of it to her collarbone, each one the same width.
"Perhaps I over exaggerate but it is the best feeling to receive pure oxygen to my blood from time to time." Talay-a finished as she shook her hair into place.
