Why would having someone that cares for her, that anchors her to the plain, and gives her a moral compass (Most of which being 'Eating people is wrong') cause her to lose sanity?

Mokuren was amazed at the man. There was a big difference between healing after getting stabbed, and outright brushing off getting stabbed - even if it was just the feeling of it - in seconds. He was clearly nothing that Mokuren could touch, and so she decided that going was a better idea than staying. So, she lithely avoided the trident pinning her sword to the ground, and slid backwards, barely half an inch from the foot at it came to kick her. Then, with that out of the way, and them still being outside and all, she turned and fled the scene.
