I said Blitzer/Flanker because while she has a high attack score, she can do massive damage with synergized combos.

Kai Lao is an immidiate 2x attack, but also allows Yamazuki to be used directly after, in the same turn, with the right trait ('Martial Prowess') and with enough energy. It can just be used on it's own though.

I added that Trait because I thought just being able to punch flying things and knee faceless creatures in the face would be a bit op to just, assume.

It would ignite practically anything you threw it at, even water. But, being a magical flame, it needs to be magically fueled, and so the Empyrean would go out pretty quickly, leaving just the standard flame. And if it wasn't on a readily combustable serface, then that would soon go out as well. So, kind of a waste to use it like that.

Edit: Since I am on a Solo mission now, should I just post it all in one?

A small one, yes. It won't make Torren's go Super Saiyan, but it will work as a potent pick-me-up if things go south.

There was nothing inherently wrong with Kaben's entree. It was interesting enough and worth a laugh but I didn't get the sense that she in any way read the prompt at all. I think she just saw Lug's thing about the battle with the Black Beast of Argh and ran with it. That and four fifths of her entree were almost directly copied from other works. It wasn't altogether a bad story but it failed to adhere to several aspects of the prompt so if anyone else puts forth a contest entree they are almost guaranteed come in ahead of Kaben.

To be fair, I did read the prompt, but didn't pay much attention to it, since I wasn't really going to join anyway. I just couldn't let Lugu post all on his own, and had to make something. And hey, the Black Knight was awesome. It can be taken to the nth degree and still be awesome.

Emily pondered for a moment, trying to think of a long-term benifit of Torrens coming. One that allowed him to be productive, coming along. Then she scoffed.

Tricky choice for Torrens. Feast on fires of great power- gaining a temporary boost in power, or have fun raiding a town and actually putting his abilities to use- increasing his standing among the other minions? I think I will choose the raid, provided Emily confirms that she has no use for Torrens on her mission.

Feast on Other Wordly Fires, gain a new understanding of Flame in itself, branch out into an entirely new sub-sect of flame, possibly even with Friendly Fire turned off.

Or, go raid a town and kill things.
