As a martial artist Deimos should be able to do a flying kick which would be just as good. That or Brick looks nice and hard, I'm sure he wouldn't mind being used as a projectile.

It depends on how well the fight's going. If the team looks like they can handle themselves and are managing without the involvement of the missing players I just let it ride, but if they look like they're beginning to struggle I'll introduce a few wrinkles to help them out.
At the moment there's four potential plot twists lined up to help or hinder the party, should they be needed, and there's still room for more to be introduced as required.
One of the advantages of this system is that there's no need for players to wait for each other to post before doing their actions, and while I can do the round summery as soon as the last player has logged in, I can also easily move on without them if needs be.
