JJ

Wertham Community Centre was JJ's new home it seemed like. That much was told to him by the appointed lawyer and his jailbird of an aunt, and a half year stay no less. The lad just rolled his eyes at his own thoughts and lumped his dufflebag to the ground with a thud. Sure he had about three Enfield's and Triumph motorcycles hidden away under a tarp, a few JDM joyrides of the four wheeled type under his belt, and all the tomfoolery that is required reading for such exploits, but six months "helping the community"? His spontanunity did not jive well to the idea. Here he was just having his fun and now the MAN was to curtail him. It made him suck his teeth in distain. His piercings where gone, his hair strewn over his eyes, and no he was quietly and dully accepting a new jumpsuit from a man he already forgot his name to.

Orange, huh. That'll stain, He thought. Man I could bump a smoke right now was his next line of thought as he meandered over to the locker room's doorway. What kind of urchins did this seabed have? JJ saw no one inside. But he could smell aerosol which did nothing for his johnsin for a cig. As he claimed a lower-level locker to the end he spied purple on one locker. Six months was a long tenure for a guy who hardly kept the same address that long. Still, as he quickly derobed without to much fuss, he let his mind linger on his future some. It's community service, not a sentence. bickered his more positive side. Lost in that thought he zipped up his new attire and wandered out with the rest of the delinquents. JJ was lined up with the rest along a railing to a harbor and the big man of the evening was speaking.

After he was done with his speech, he asked if they had questions. JJ kind of looked at his feet and bit his lip. His brow furrowed as the lad thought of a right question to even ask, he was more curious of the line-up he was with.

Neat, I'll have a post up as soon as nightshift is over. Open to collabs always too!

JJ's good to go! His powers are similar to Bakugo's from My Hero Academia, right?

That and the Human Torch, yes.
I decided on a combustible thieving goof, let me know if everything jives

Interested, and as a power I was thinking of a null. Voiding out abilities seems a bit iffy but it could be curtailed with lack of control over its intensity and frequency. My other idea is a pyro, a staple really.

The calamity of what could only be called a controlled crash disoriented Hector far too much. Terrified yelps. brave hollers, and sickening metallic screeching gave him the most unsettling feeling in his stomach. Then again this space boy had never faced re-entry G's. He spat up some sick that leached up his throat as his nostrils picked up burned nanoplastics and fumes. The screeching soon turned into a thunderous roar then clash as the pod punched through the canopy of a pure forest.

For a brief moment he thought he was safe until the dirt proper slammed into the pod and his lumbar. The jolt of pain almost made him forget about the ensuing fires taking over the abritor heat shields.

The young man's bronze eyes opened to a smokey scene punctuated by shafts of sunlight blasting through the main ramp and damaged panels. Hector felt twice as heavy, his nose itched righteously, his skin felt, odd. Brows furrowed in confusion as he rubbed shivers out of his spine. The joly of re-entry must have dumped avlot of adrenaline into him. Thumbs found buckles and gravity took over as he stumped out of his throne like a decrepit lich. His ankles pattered and groaned under their new realm. then bumped into a not so lucky body. The squish and crimson pool below his toes said enough for the thief. This was real. Hec gulped, frantically looking around, another titanic groan came from above as its weight shifted.

He needed move and now.

He felt buzzed off crisis, in shock for sure. But habits are hard to break and his furtive gaze was already eying new toys to take. He and his dozens of fellows had a whole new planet brewed on bedtime stories to venture. And without any jurisdiction,.. Hector slapped a particular big bug off his neck. That was new; he starred at his hand in wonderment of what we would call a beetle. Voices of the more cognizant made his gaze flicker as he stepped out onto the main ramp with no worse for wear than a bruised tush and battered reality.

Hector was afraid, but also strangling brimming with anticipation and hope for a brave new world. A handful of delinquents were already milling about on the main exit. It was bright, and warm.

My character, who you all may only have initial radio chatter with before each 'mission' which is completed once the ship is scrapped to varied standards.

“Ah, hell...” muttered Dale as he looked over the incoming documents that the ship possessed.

All he could really do is suck his teeth as the information ebbed over the high-grain static of sub-par lunar assets. Nuclear core, Low visibilty on the work deck, dividends of the corporate nature. Yup, it was gonna be one of those days. Being a moon buzzard wasn't all it was cracked up to be Dale thought. He whisked away those demons as the derelict approached radar range.

Look who just rolled in!
Welcome to Huntsville's Rocketry Alternative, Big Throw! As you might imagine, centrifugal technology has progressed into a lucrative and booming substitute for the red tape that is rockets. In this universe it's a cheaper more corporate solution to logistical concerns. Basically, come up with your own space cowboy to get yeeted to the moon! Let's break some ships! (methods and such are varied). I'm thinking the year is 2180, that gets us far enough ahead tech wise I believe. Wars, global warming, resource droughts, feel free to explore near-future vibes. The microclimate is of a fledgling moon city, with the required logistical concerns and laborpool to entice such growth. Scarping ships and siphoning natural resources are the big hitters, but it is a city so fluff it up. Earth is still around, in co-dependent scenario.

Welcome to the Moon! There are three cities so to say on this rock. It's a large endeavor of multinational zero-g colonialism held aloft by capitalist pursuits. It's also mid tour day, half the allotted days of work have been recorded for this shift. The newest job has just vectored in. It's a large ore freighter with a bright blue hull of the astro miners Inc, their logo worn but still visible. Main goal is to safely drain, strip, and leave the structural hull intact for refurbishment.

RULES
1. Typical Guild Rules
2. Npcs are welcome as are their stories. 18+ love & gore can be taken to PM'S
3. New ideas or arguments should be discussed in the OOC
4. Have fun! This is one of my first GM's so, otherwise I'm just looking for a good fun time.
