Edit: should probably clarify - I'm not implying Darius would commit thief genocide. Just making a casual GoT reference that has to do with the overall topic of medieval crime solving.

Darius actually has really strong principles regarding authority and law. But he isn't exactly by the book either. Like, he wouldn't be lenient towards a noble who broke the law - if he actually had a say in the proceedings, he'd try to give them the same punishment a commoner would have received. At the same time, he would be lenient to someone - commoner or noble - who could prove they had a really good motive for their crime.

This is all based on the hypothetical and extremely unlikely scenario that Darius gets involved in law. Do Lords serve as judges for crimes that occur within their lands?

Well, technically Renly was her Senpai, not her Boo.

Also, he was kind of a traitor who attempted to steal the throne from his older brother. If Stannis hadn't killed Renly, Renly would have killed him. Remember, this is the same Renly whose original plot to take the throne was to take the palace by surprise, murder all the guards, kidnap the Queen's children, and hold them hostage. How could Brienne serve such a vile man?

There's more to this thread than broom closets. Darius, for example, is going to be brooding in corners, reading in corners, observing people from corners, and making awkward conversation whenever someone tries to approach him in his corner. Occasionally slipping off to other places like the garden, the library, a basement, or MAYBE a broom closet for a change of scenery. All that, and geeking out with Arthur.

I'm actually joking. He will occasionally approach some people - other loners like him, or people who he has already met. He just won't have an amazing introductory line.
