Alright, I think I might go with either the Paladin or the Pirate. I'm leaning towards the Pirate right now. I'll come to a decision later tonight.

I also wanted to make a second character (a Lampert), but it seems Lampert is no longer an option anymore.
@Not Fishing
1: Preferably, but if you want to be something else, that is entirely possible granted you let me know what it is.
2: Not really. Though there are some non-human roles that I planned on playing myself, but if you wish to take the reins of one of them, that actually sounds like a pretty darn good idea too.

I was thinking of a dwarven warrior who for some reason (to be revealed in the roleplay) left his homeland behind and found service with a human king, as some sort of bodyguard. Probably one of the less serious characters in the RP (makes a lot of jokes that often aren't appropriate for the situation), but there will still be some serious moments.

If that won't work, I do have a human character in mind as well, so it's not a dealbreaker if I can't do it.

---

Also I have some questions about the pirate route. How big is his fleet, and how much freedom does the RPer have in coming up with the backstory?
So, some questions.

1. Do we have to pick one of your pre-established roles?
2. Can we play as non-humans?
You ignore 90 percent of what I write to qoute just part of my responses. Coolio.

I quoted the parts that seemed to convey your main arguments, in order to reduce the length. I didn't ignore "90 percent" of what you wrote, I responded to what I thought were the most important details. First you complain about me "attacking every part of your post", and then you complain about me not writing enough?

I'm going to move past this now because your not interested in clarification, you just think I meta gamed.

Meta-gaming was only one of my concerns. I am interested in clarification, because I didn't understand how he came to some of his conclusions, or why he took those actions.
Otherewise you would not have decided to make a 6 point list to attack every part of my post.

This is an exaggeration. I just pointed out things I either took some issue with (particularly things that looked suspiciously close to meta-gaming, which I dislike), or didn't quite understand. It's not an attack.

I could easily tear into yours or others posts if I wanted to.

Go ahead. I don't mind criticism. If my posts are so easy to criticize, then I really would like to know what's wrong.

1) I read it as if she was facing the bathroom with all that had happened, so you know. Its the only other area then th diner itself there would be something of a guest. Its basic logic.

I personally saw no indication of that. It just said she went into a corner and huddled up. We will need the person who actually wrote the post to clarify, but even if she was looking it, that doesn't mean something she needed was inside - remember that the bathroom is the source of all the chaos in the room, which has everyone's attention.

2) He doesn't. He just assume.

But I'm not sure why he made that assumption.

He doesnt know what she need exactly. He just recognice a behavior he has seen a lot among junkies and people who take prescription.

What behavior did he recognize?

4) He has a rough past, he had a shit day, he hates the town, he doesn't want to be there. ANd people are running nad yelling and what not. Yes, he armed himself.

Okay, but it's still illegal, and something that almost everyone would regard as a hostile action. If he pulls out a knife the first time he sees something unusual, how has he not already been arrested?

Its the best way to introduce him in my eyes and other people can easily write about how this outragous person just steps right into the situation and play off it. ITs not hard to work with.

I personally disagree. Your character does not need to be the center of attention, especially when there's already so much else to react to. Between the tiger, the horned kid, the decay, the vanishing kid, and the terrified girl, there's already a lot on everyone's plate.

6) But nobody had, and I felt like diving right in. And I dont see why we should wait unless there is a turn order. Thats how rp's stagnate.

You didn't really give them a chance. I am of the opinion that the people closest to the action should be allowed to react to that action first.

Or do you wanna attack my writing further?

This is not an attack. There is no need to get so hostile.
@Hellis
Okay, I don't like criticizing other people's posts, but I feel like some questions need to be asked.

1. How did he realize what she needed was in the bathroom?
2. How did he know what he found in the bathroom was actually her stuff, and not somebody else's?
3. Even if he does have experience as a drug dealer, how would he know that she needed medicine? Based on what was written about her, it sounds more likely that an observer would decide she must be having a panic attack.
4. He walks into his diner, and while some strange things are definitely happening, there's no immediate danger... yet his first action to pull out a knife?
5. Based on what you described, he went into the restaurant, started yelling at people, then ran into the bathroom, found the items that he somehow knew were hers, got out, and then told the girl he found her stuff. You're not really taking into consideration the fact that someone might try to stop him, talk him down, or interact with him in any way between when he enters the bathroom and when he begins to interact with Jill.
6. Since there are other people who are much closer to the bathroom, any one of them could easily grab her stuff before your character does.
"Don't just stand there, help her up," he says to the man who was already trying to help her up.
Gary Riley

Gary sprayed the tiger with a desperate sort of grim determination, saying nothing, but his face carried an expression that said 'I'll see you in hell.' Then the tiger retreated, and his expression turned to pure surprise, which then shifted to alarm when he realized the nearby vines were on fire. He quickly used the last of the extinguisher's contents to put it out, and he was about to slam the door and run when a hole opened in the wall, and some weird deer-kid appeared to yell at the tiger.

What.

Then he realized the decay was spreading.

"OUT! NOW!" Gary shouted, turning and shoving his way past those behind him. He stopped to grab his phone, and hoped that it got a good view of the wackiness that just unfolded. No sooner did he have it, did he notice that the girl who fled the bathroom had collapsed on the floor, and appeared to be having some sort of panic attack. Understandable, given the circumstances, but hardly ideal.

"Come on," he urged her, trying to keep his voice as a calm as possible. "You're almost there, you need to move." He extended a hand to help her up.
Google saves the day.
Gary Riley

Gary had just accepted the fire extinguisher, when the familiar-looking man from earlier suddenly appeared to lose his nerve and open the door far too earlier. Gary mentally cursed at that - what was the idiot thinking?

On his phone, he quickly Googled "How to survive a tiger attack."

Method 1 Surviving an Actual Tiger Attack

1. Try to remain calm and back away slowly. In the event that a tiger is tracking you or has begun to snarl at you and seems ready to attack, try to stay calm...
2. Make yourself big. Try to look and feel brave...
3. Repel an attacking tiger with noise...
4. Do whatever you can to survive.

Number four was not particularly helpful, and neither was number three, considering it was cornered, and chasing it out of the washroom or diner would just send it out into the streets...

In hindsight, this idea was borderline idiotic.

And then he realized someone was yelling over the chaos, about how this was some sort of prank. He was about to yell something along the lines of 'Shut the #!@$ up!', but thought better of it. Then he had an idea. A mad, perhaps even suicidal idea, but if it worked he would be a hero.

He quickly googled "will a fire extinguisher scare off a tiger", and then skimmed through the results.

'Another great tool to scare the predator and have them release the victim is a CO2 fire extinguisher, which was used in the 2nd Missouri tiger attack to...'

That was all he needed. Confirmation bias at its finest.

He set his phone on a nearby table, resting it against a salt shaker so that it would have a full view of the action. Then, with fire extinguisher in hand, he rushed towards the door, pointed it at the tiger, and unleashed foamy hell. "GET OUT NOW WHILE YOU HAVE THE CHANCE!" He shouted to whoever was still in there.

If he was lucky, the sudden noise, pressure, and burst of foam would distract the tiger long enough for the woman to escape.

If he was unlucky, he was dead.
