Bio

So... Bio's are a thing now. Fancy.

Anywho!
25 y/o guy, currently student and living by myself, yada yada.

Veteran Roleplayer, with over 7-8 years of experience in both Pen & Paper and text based, with minimal LARP Experience. I have a great interest in fantasy settings and tends to dislike Post Apocalypse, or generally anything involving guns and modern weaponry. Gimme a sword and the ability to throw fire, and I'm happy.

I have relatively high standards and find myself somewhat disappointed if my posts are below 500 words, preferring ~1000+ whenever possible (sadly, not always easy). At the same time I expect similar standards from my fellow players. I also have a tendency to play female characters in spite of my being a guy, mainly because I find it more entertaining than playing the big burly guy.

Just for curiousity, what exactly happens when someone changes to their shifter form? Is it a very quick thing, or does it take some time? Does it take energy or focus to do so, or is it fairly instinctive and effortless?

It's sort of an instinctive thing by the third year. It doesn't take a lot of energy, but you will feel the changes happen, although not painful. For example, my character would feel the tails grow rapidly, her canines elongating and her human ears getting replaced by the fox-like ears as well as... whatever other changes and "boosts" she gets.

In the beginning, however, it takes a bit of effort, but the time it takes to change depends on what kind of Shifter you are. A Dragon, for example, would take significantly longer to change because of the sheer size (perhaps 5 seconds in total), whereas Lily would only take one second or so. If you wanted to, I guess you could slow it down, but not really speed it up.

If the average human IQ is 100-110, which is typical real time.....He'd have an 85-90, give or take. I would consider him a gentle giant. It can be changed, if that's needed. How's him being there for 4 years now?

I have no problems with him being a gentle giant, just that he isn't entirely mentally challenged, but just a bit on the slow side instead. He can still be the gentle giant character. Also, that Remedial Classes sounds good enough :) I'm okay with that.

Thanks! And it seems the antisocial club has gained a new member!

Oi, Lily isn't antisocial. She just doesn't trust easily xD

We're sort of working on it, Kapu.Only I'm working on things irl at the moment, so the working on it is postponed slightly.

"We" ? As in you and Dawn? o_O

I'll change the height. Thought that 25 feet would be a bit tall, but I was wrong ;) As for the magic thing, I'll dumb it down to about 400 pounds in human form. And I know that the Academy is a 3 year course. I was taking into consideration that my character is mentally challenged, so he'd take longer to finish the course than others. So, he'd be in his 3rd year of classes, which would be his 5th year there. Hope that'd be okay.

You have to remember that there's a reason they're called "Titans" ;) People in that Class are usually really big, and he's still smaller than a Dragon. As for him being mentally challenged... To what degree, exactly? You said yourself that he's only Slow, so I don't imagine it's the level we see in Hodor or other "gentle giants." I accepted him as being Slow on the assumption that his mental faculties are still good enough that he can function normally, though he is a bit simpler and, well, "slow", but not necessarily damaged.
No response so far... <.<

Yea I decided against the Drakon for the same reason. Can't find a picture or any pages specifically about Drakons.I found a cool picture of a 'sea dragon' though.

As cool as it looks, we already have a dragon and, while it's a sea dragon and not a typical western one, it's still a dragon :/

I know what it is, fear not.Really though, you'd need to find something significant to differentiate. That or charisma to charm the pants off a nun. Or both. Or hope Kapu is feeling nice.Though I've lost track of half of the people on this now so I'm not even sure who's who at this point.

For the sake of convenience I edited the first post to have both "accepted characters" and "reserves" in case someone backs out. Should make it easier to see who is who :)

Nevermind I'm just gonna make an app with the Drakon.

I've looked up a Drakon, and I can find nearly nothing about it, and what I've found doesn't make me feel like it's different enough from a regular dragon. I'd prefer a Chimera which you crossed out. They feel like one of the more magic/ability based Titans, while still being big (perhaps twice the size of a car). Their poison could perhaps be somewhat paralyzing, they'd be a mix of strength and speed, but not necessarily durable as they'd rely on their poison and so on to stop their victim before they chew their faces of.
