Evan continued to try to retrace his steps until he heard a voice calling out for him. He did not recognize the voice, but it was calling out his name. He hesitated for a moment. What if this was a serial killer or something? No, he was being silly... Maybe it was the authorities looking for him since he was gone. He wondered too if they had found Billy yet.

He decided to follow the voice's direction and stay put.

"HELLO?" he shouted once more in hopes that it would help the stranger find him. "I'M OVER HERE. CAN YOU HEAR ME?"

His throat was starting to get all sore from the yelling. He longed for some hot tea and his bed. Today was already too much of an adventure for him.
I'm not one to post my stream of consciousness. But today is different I suppose. I won't apologize for it and I don't want comments about it. Just read if you want to. Dedicated to a person that was so close, yet I've never even got to know them. I ... well my feelings are made clear in my dabble.

He was young. He was the type of person that should have lived to be a hundred and two. He was supposed to have a fulfilling life that would have touched millions of other lives. His death should not have been a tragedy, simply an end of something that had to come to an end eventually. We still would have cried over the loss of such a great person, but we would not have felt as robbed.

I cannot shake these feelings of regret. I have never met him, not once. Maybe we have passed each other without knowing in our small world, but I have never known him. I did not even know of his existence until two days after his death. I wish I did.

It could be because of the kind words his loved ones had to say about him, for him. Perhaps it was his bright smile that seemed to illuminate every photo that was taken of him. I did not even have to know him to be able identify his face. I did not need to know him to understand the pain his family and friends are feeling right now.

What?

How?

Why?

Three questions that must have gone through their heads.

Confusion and denial.

"He was young, so young," they must have cried. They might have imagined what their lives would be like if he was still there today. They could imagine for him what his life should have been. But none of that would make up for what isn't.

Maybe they would find some solace soon.

While I don't know if I believe in it, I hope Heaven is waiting for him. He deserves it.

I hope he rests in peace. I hope he can feel the love that his loved ones have for him. I hope he knows that people truly miss him.

Rest in peace.

Evan felt alone and scared. He shouldn't have gone out to look for Billy. This is what he gets for trying to be brave. Billy was probably fine and back at the camp now. He heard a low growl coming from somewhere behind him. "If this is a prank..." he said slowly. "It's not very funny..."

He wished this was a prank. He wished that Kass, Cass, Riley, and Billy would just jump out of the darkness, laughing. At least it would just be a prank. At least he wouldn't be lost and alone in the woods.

"Maybe the best thing to do would be to stay up..." he thought to himself, trying to figure out the best course of action. "But there's still that unknown growling thing that's following me..."

The most important thing was to try to stay calm. He decided to try to go backwards. If he retraced his steps he would probably go back to camp right? Maybe he'll even find out what the low growling noise is... Though he's not too sure how much he wants to find out.

"HELLO? I'M LOST. ANYONE THERE?" Evan shouted as he tried to retrace his steps. He was not one to shout, but desperate times called for desperate measures. "HELLO? RILEY? CASS? KASS? BILLY? ANYONE?"
Working on a post too. Sorry with school starting and stuff it's just ugh. I have been having a hard time making time for RP.
Vespira smiled at her gentle giant of a friend who had just arrived. "It's alright, Anna," she said but then quickly refocused the conversation back to her main concern. "So what was the weird thing you saw? It might be related to the weird thing I heard earlier this morning."

She stuck her tongue out as Grace began to pat her head though she wasn't really annoyed that her friend was using her head as bongos. She stuck the lollipop back into her mouth and waited to hear what Anna had to say. As soon as she finished catching her breath, of course.

Before Anna had even said anything, Vespira was already imagining all of the things that could explain the weird morning announcement. Maybe there was a bear attack in the principal's office. Or maybe Mr. Ziller, their principal, was somehow bitten by a wild dog and had contracted rabies. Or maybe it was aliens!

Ha! Vespira was amused by the idea of aliens invading their tiny school. Surely, aliens from a far off galaxy would have better things to do than to take over Cedar Vale High School.

Anyhow, something weird was definitely going on and they were going to get to the bottom of it.

Evan watched as everyone was leaving the campfire for some reason. The girls seemed to be plotting something and Evan didn't want to intrude. But at the same time, he didn't want to be left alone in the woods. After a few moments of silently listening to the fire crackle, Evan decided to go look for Billy. He seemed awfully drunk and shouldn't have wandered off on his own.

Evan began to head towards the general direction that Billy had went after going back to get his flashlight. He turned on the flashlight and walked into the thick of the forest. "Billy? Are you out here?" he called out as loud as he could. He shivered, despite already wearing his jacket. It was really, really cold all of a sudden. It was starting to get windy too.

"Billy? Billy? Billy?" he continued to call out in search of his friend.

Evan did not know how long he was out there, but all of the trees were starting to look the same. Was he lost as well? "Billy...? Anyone...?" he whimpered dejectedly.

Ashley Hart and Gabriel Aeckard

Location; Outside the Dorms
Interacting With; Each other, Clarissa Price @GoddessSophia is mentioned

Ashley was sent to voice mail much to her annoyance. "That worthless girl! She's probably spent the night with one of her stupid boy toys." she thought to herself.

She placed her phone back into her purse and decided to go out for some coffee. There was no use being cooped up in her room. It wouldn't do her or the rest of her peers any good.

She retouched her hair and make up one last time in the bathroom before heading out. She had to look perfect. It was her first day back on campus after all.

As she left her apartment, she saw a guy who was definitely tall and dark, maybe handsome even, and a much smaller, cute girl walking towards her. Mala had to nudge at Gabriel's side to get him to notice Ashley, who was quickly rushing into the personal space of the two. The boy, so lost in his thoughts, had to look up and sidestep to avoid running down the girl. "'Suse me." He replied in that signature flat tone of his. He didn't take much of her features into regard, but the wood nymph couldn't help but notice the excess of makeup the girl was wearing. As the duo danced and dodged their way past her, Mala took her chance to comment.

"What's with human girls and the face paint? It can't be healthy." She mumbled. Gabe shrugged, naturally. "I'm not a female. I wouldn't know." He mumbled back.

Ashley winced, not quite comprehending the fact that they just walked right by her without paying much attention to her. She was not used to being ignored ever and that did not feel very good. Did they just not realize who she was? She was Ashley Hart, the most beautiful of Aphrodite's children and because Aphrodite's children were more beautiful than all the other demigods, the most beautiful person in the academy. That has to be a serious offense and Ashley would just have to educate them.

She caught up to them in no time and stood right in front of the two ignorant strangers. "Hello. I don't believe we have met. Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Ashley. Daughter of Aphrodite," she said, concealing her annoyance with a warm smile.

Gabe was hesitant to answer. If anything, he got a better look at Ashley as she went out of her way to stop the two. "She's kinda cute, at least." She didn't get much of a rise out of him otherwise. Mala, on the other hand, enjoyed the assertiveness the Aphrodite child was displaying and felt the need to act on it. For Gabe's sake, at the least. "Annnnnd this~!" She presented her companion. "Is Gabriel Emile Aeckard!" She was a half step away from doing a little jig and fluttering jazz hands to introduce him. Gabe might've looked as if she just kicked his puppy.

Call me Gabe." He stated, having no choice but to give Ashley his attention, now that the wood nymph eagerly put him on the spot. Least he could do, is return the favor for his nymph friend. "This is Fraxinus Anomala, the Dwarf Ash-" He was interrupted by a elbow to the ribs, courtesy the aformentioned dryad. "Just call me Mala~" She greeted on her own, her bubbly tone easily contrasting Gabriel's.

"Gabe and Mala. Nice to meet you both. Are you two new? I've been going here for a while so I don't see too many unfamiliar faces," said Ashley. If she actually had a heart she might have thought that the bond between Gabe and Mala was cute. It was a kind of friendship that even she could not fake nor understand. She could tell that Gabe was more on the quiet side while Mala was more outgoing. She did not seem like a demigoddess though, but Ashley paid no mind to that.

"An interesting pair."

"Yeah, Gabe's only been here a couple'a weeks. He's been trying his best to keep himself out of the gossip of Lovechilds." Mala replied. Gabriel raised an eyebrow at the claim. "But, I think he should be getting involved in those things, right?" She continued, leaning in towards Ashley. "He could use a little spice to his life, something other than constantly fighting. It would really get 'im out of his shell." She obviously whispered. Gabriel sighed, beginning to divert his gaze elsewhere. "You're embarrassing." He was more flustered than he let on.

Ashley was amused and soon forgot that she was upset with them in the first place. "You two are so funny," she could not help but chuckle. "I wouldn't mind helping out with that," she added in a more seductive tone. She smiled more innocently, dispelling the mood before she could scare him off. Mala picked up on the flirt a bit more postively than Gabriel did. "Eh, ehh?" She nudged him again, a bit more playful this time. Gabe exchanged flat expressions between the two girls. "...You take care, Ashley." He replied simply, resuming off towards their destination before his face could flush red. Mala could only chuckle. "Hey, that wasn't a no, was it? Guess we'll be seeing you around, Ms. Hart~!" She added, before beginning after Gabriel.

Ashley waved goodbye as the two continued on their journey to who knows where. "Well, that was one way to spend a couple minutes. Oh, I almost forgot about my coffee." She then went in another direction where the cafe was located.
