Let's B!tch. I feel it's a healthy release for our roleplay annoyances 2.0

I'm back lol

This one has been happening a lot lately (on other sites): I get so many rp requests for everything but my cravings. And I get responses that are completely unrelated even after having said, "I'm not interested in anything other than my cravings" and "Please do not contact me if we don't have any common interests". I've never gotten so many modern/slice of life/smut requests and so few requests for what I actually want. It gets my hopes so high that finally someone will rp what I want, but it's never something I'm interested in -_- They're not even bringing interesting ideas it's just "wanna rp? Do you do smut?"

And on top of that, the people who contact you without reading your interests and then they act as if it's some big surprise that you want what you do.
And the guys (sorry boys but I've only had one girl but a half dozen guys do this in the past month) that get upset when you don't see eye to eye. I have one guy who I can't block because it's on kik (idk if I can even block on there, I haven't seen an option)and he pesters me incessantly to rp with him, after I've told him numerous times that I'm simply not interested in the same things as him. They've gotten so defensive and even insult me because God forbid should I not want to rp smut or whatever they want. I have cravings too, and unfortunately, we are not compatible. It'll be fine.

@FilletThat's a good point. I think I've been scared to message people just it's so hard to tell if they'll accept or not, but I'll definitely give that a shot (: Thankfully, I've been getting some messages since I posted here, so maybe my luck is turning around.

@ArenaSnowI was trying to pinpoint the exact word, concepts is a good way to put it. It seems like conceptual rps are a lot less popular.

@NuttsnBoltsYeah, as tempting as it is it's really not a good idea. I'm trying to find the site that works for me, I guess that one just isn't it. It just sucks that my experience was so bad on there so quickly.

I'm trying to be patient, but it's hard when cravings are burning a hole in the back of my head xD I like it here though, everyone's really nice and relaxed.
