Bio

Long time casual role player who loves tales of adventure! I enjoy tabletop games, play-by-post, and even LARP!

Wild (and sometimes weird) west and medieval fantasy games with an 'old-school' D&D feel are my favorite.

In real life, I'm a software engineer and wanna-be farmer. I have a little garden and some chickens that like to destroy my flower beds. But I like 'em anyway and they all have names. ;) Sometimes they lay me some breakfast.

Other hobbies include dog agility and archery.

@Afina, whatever elements you feel you need or want is totally fine.

I tend to like introducing characters in the in-character and figure them out as the RP grows, so I'm definitely no stickler on character sheets.
Do we have any here who lives in Greece? I've read the stories in the news, but curious to know what it's REALLY like. Are people stocking up on everything they can get their hands on? Are shelves bare? Will any retailer take a credit card? Is there an atmosphere of fear of upcoming hardship?
Thanks for the interest everyone!

This is an open traditional fantasy RP. If you'd like to join, please feel free to jump right in! You're more than welcome to post a character sheet if you like to have one for reference, but it is not required.

Acceptable races are human, elf, dwarf, gnome, or half breed of any of the previous.

The lanky, blonde man had introduced himself as Straw, a traveling adventurer who had had the good fortune of acquiring a map to the ruins of a once-great castle some 5 days travel north, in the middle of what was once a glorious kingdom, but was now untamed and dangerous wilderness.

Could those ruins still contain lost, shiny treasures of precious metals and rare gems? Although he claimed competence with a sword, Straw said it was not smart to make that journey alone. And so he needed to recruit a few able bodied adventurers that would be willing to make the trek, promising equal shares of whatever wealth was found.

And so, for dreams of riches, fame, or reasons of your own, you have accepted. The members of the small party are to meet outside the town gate in the morning, packed and ready to depart.

Straw arrived early and tied his packhorse to a hitching post. Then plopped himself down on a large rock nearby and hummed to himself as he waited for his recruits to show up.
This is a re-boot of an old RP that I had a ton of fun with and would like to give it another go!

Premise: Drow slavers are using old ruins as their outpost. A group of would-be treasure hunters comes along, gets captured, and must try to engineer their escape before the drow can return them to their underground city, sealing their fate as slaves for life.

Level - Casual

I'm hoping for 2-3 players that are willing to take on both an adventurer and a drow. (Of course, if you really want to only play one or the other, that's okay too!)
If you only get a few takers, I'm game to double up and take two PCs. Though, hopefully we get 1 or 2 more!
Oh! Pick me! Pick me! :)

I'm thinking a female human ranger would be fun. Or (with your permission) a goblin shaman type.
I have an idea for a 'dungeon crawl' style game, inspired by the tabletop game 'Dungeon Crawl Classics'. (However, no knowledge of that game is required for this.)

Each player will take 2 - 3 low level PCs. Regular townfolk that are teaming up to go explore a cave recently uncovered after a flood. But of course the cave is full of dangers and only 1 of your PCs can survive! (Your choice of how the other(s) meet their untimely demise.)

If it turns out to be a cool story, our survivors would be honest-to-goodness adventurers and maybe we'll take them on a new quest. :)

Any takers?
"Thanks," she said as she caught the brush against her chest a bit awkwardly. As she started on the draft horse's neck as she considered Hugh's thoughts on adventure. "Well, it is a touch more fun than going off to make coin mucking out a barn or serving ale," she smiled, working the brush back toward the horse's withers. "Have you ever found treasure though? I mean real treasure... not just a couple coins enough for a few nights of fun."

"... only three of them this time," Ryltar reported to the others. "A large and well armed human male, a human female, and an elven female."
