Athar walks over and stands nose to chin with the barbarian, "Your kind I have seen before, invading lands, killing those who stand in your way!"
He pulls open his tunic revealing a wicked scar across his chest, "Barbarian invaders did this to me, because I am an Elf."
"Now obviously Zandor sees something in you I don't, so prove me wrong. "

Nothing happens thru the night, and you all wake up, and continue on your journey.
A little cool crisp morning walk down the road, until you see the elf up ahead waiting on y'all.
"This is where we leave the road, cutting thru will get us closer to our destination. "
He looked at each one of them, and then back to the barbarian, "Try not to get lost out there, these woods are thick and one usually doesn't know his left from his right."
The Elf took point and led them thru the thick haunted forest.
